鄂尔多斯盆地下奥陶统碳酸盐岩有机相类型及生烃潜力   总被引:26,自引:0,他引:26

对鄂尔多斯盆地下奥陶统马家沟组碳酸盐岩的各种沉积环境的有机相特征进行了研究,结果表明平均有机碳丰度最高的是陆缘斜坡相碳酸盐岩(0.26%),其次是膏盐湖(0.22%)、膏云坪(0.21%),而开阔海、云坪和滩等环境的碳酸盐岩有机碳平均含量较低(<0.20%);碳酸盐岩干酪根样品多数为富氧、贫氢,显示其有机质类型较差;岩石地球化学特征和生物化石特征反映出陆缘斜坡处于相对还原的环境,而其他沉积环境则为氧化环境。鄂尔多斯盆地下奥陶统的大部分碳酸盐岩处于生烃潜力较差的C~D相。从有机质数量、有机相类型来判断,鄂尔多斯盆地下奥陶统碳酸盐岩不是好烃源岩,难以形成具有一定规模的气田。  相似文献

针对西藏羌塘盆地中生界海相烃源岩地面样品风化严重等实际情况,利用大量露头剖面点样品的有机地球化学测试数据和前人研究资料,在对有机质丰度、类型和成熟度有效性分析及评价标准建立的基础上,采用综合地球化学剖面方法,对盆地不同构造单元的烃源岩进行了综合评价研究,预测了有利生烃区。结果表明,有机碳含量与生烃潜力(S1+S2)、氯仿沥青"A"和总烃(HC)含量之间相关性良好,总体呈正向线性关系,受岩性的影响,灰岩和油页岩的关系曲线一般高于泥岩和煤;地表风化作用虽然对地面样品尤其是灰岩样品的有机碳含量影响较小,但对生烃潜力、氯仿沥青"A"和总烃含量等指标的影响不容忽视;中生界海相烃源岩在各构造单元内的发育不同,蒂让碧错-土门凹陷的索瓦组台地相泥灰岩和肖茶卡组三角洲相泥岩为好生油岩;帕度错-纳江错凹陷比洛错地区肖茶卡组外陆棚相油页岩或页岩为极好生油岩,深水陆棚相或开阔台地相灰岩为中等烃源岩;洞错-葫芦湖较深凹陷和吐坡错-白滩湖深凹陷的布曲组和索瓦组台地相灰岩及肖茶卡组上部灰岩为中等生油岩。有机质类型以Ⅱ型为主,各地区成熟度差异明显,总体以成熟~高成熟为主,在同一剖面上自上而下成熟度逐渐增高。沉积环境是优质烃源岩发育的主控因素,上三叠统肖茶卡组(T3x)广泛发育的半深海盆地相黑色泥页岩是盆地最重要的烃源层,泥岩有利生烃区分布面积大,侏罗系布曲组(J2b)和索瓦组(J3s)碳酸盐岩台地相台内凹陷较闭塞的静水沉积的泥灰岩为重要烃源岩层,灰岩有利生烃区分布面积大,对进一步明确羌塘盆地不同构造单元主力烃源岩特征与分布及下一步油气勘探具有重要参考价值。  相似文献

对柴达木盆地三湖地区台深1井烃源岩的地球化学进行研究,可以为该地区进一步勘探提供科学依据。本研究通过高精度GC/MS和同位素分析,研究了台深1井天然气同位素和烃源岩生物标志化合物的分布特征。结果表明,台深1井天然气不同于涩北气田的生物气,为低熟过渡带天然气;烃源岩的母质类型以陆源高等植物为主,也有水生生物的贡献;成烃环境为浅湖相咸化含硫的弱还原-弱氧化环境,而且成烃环境中微生物发育。  相似文献

通过碳酸盐岩地层中的纯碳酸盐岩、缝合线缝隙物和泥质条带有机质含量和残留烃量分析表明,碳酸盐岩地层中不同的组成部分之间有机质的分布是不均匀的,其中缝合线缝隙物和泥质条带具有高的TOC值和较低的S1/ TOC 值,而纯碳酸盐岩TOC值则很低,但其S1/ TOC 却很高。这说明缝合线缝隙物和泥质条带发生了明显的排烃作用,而纯碳酸盐岩排烃作用不明显。因此可以认为高有机质丰度的缝合线缝隙物和泥质条带是碳酸盐岩地层烃源的主要贡献者。压溶作用对碳酸盐岩的排烃起重要作用。  相似文献

中国古生界海相高、过成熟烃源岩原始生烃潜力评价问题是一个没有解决的老问题,至今没有可靠的评价方法与统一评价标准。低成熟元古宇—古生界海相泥岩/页岩与碳酸盐岩地球化学分析揭示,由于有机质组成不同,不同时代烃源岩的有机碳含量与热解生烃潜力之间存在着不同的线性关系。按照岩石热解生烃潜力来衡量,泥岩/页岩与碳酸盐岩作为有效烃源岩的有机质丰度下限没有本质区别,其有机碳含量必须大于0.5%;对于元古宇-下古生界海相烃源岩,达到中等生烃潜力的有机碳含量必须大于0.75%,好烃源岩的有机碳含量必须大于1.5%,很好烃源岩的有机碳含量大于2%,有机碳含量大于4%的属于极好的烃源岩;上古生界海相泥岩各级烃源岩相应的有机碳界线值高于下古生界泥岩。按照低成熟元古宇—古生界烃源岩有机碳含量与热解生烃潜力之间的关系方程,由有机碳含量基本上可以定量评价高、过成熟的元古宇—古生界烃源岩的原始生烃潜力。  相似文献

There are several source rock units in the Zagros Basin, but the Cretaceous Kazhdumi and Paleogene Pabdeh formations probably have produced the majority of the commercial hydrocarbons in this area. Among the hydrocarbon provinces of Iran, the Dezful Embayment, which is located southwest of Zagros Mountains, is one of the most prolific regions in the Middle East. Numerous studies have been made in the northern part of the Dezful Embayment, but relatively few have been done in its southern part. The present study focuses on organic matter characterization of two potential source rocks (Kazhdumi and Pabdeh formations) in southern part of the Dezful Embayment. Cuttings samples (114) were collected from 10 wells and evaluated using Rock–Eval pyrolysis and organic petrography in order to characterize the content and type of organic matter and thermal maturity. The results showed that the average total organic carbon (TOC) content of Kazhdumi and Pabdeh formations are 2.48 and 1.62 wt%, respectively. The highest TOC contents for both formations are found in the northern compartment and decreased gradually toward the south. Pyrolysis data reveal that organic matter has a fair to very good hydrocarbon generation potential and are classified as Type II–III and Type III. Rock–Eval Tmax and vitrinite reflectance show that the majority of samples are in the early mature to mature stage of the oil generation window.  相似文献

以鄂尔多斯盆地石炭系-二叠系海陆过渡相富有机质泥页岩为研究对象,通过岩石热解分析、岩石抽提和族组分分析、有机元素分析以及煤岩光学分析等方法,对泥页岩中有机质丰度、类型、热成熟度、生烃潜力等地球化学特征参数进行测试;利用扫描电镜、X射线衍射、物性测试等手段,对泥页岩中矿物组成、孔渗特征等储层评价参数进行分析。研究结果表明:鄂尔多斯盆地海陆过渡相地层中泥页岩分布广泛,埋藏偏深,单层厚度较薄,但累计厚度大;泥页岩中有机碳(TOC)含量平均为2.5%,丰度较大;有机质母质中干酪根类型主要为Ⅲ型;镜质体反射率(Ro)平均为1.2%,热演化程度达到中高成熟阶段;具有较大的生烃潜力(S1+S2);同时,石英、长石等脆性矿物含量较高;发育多种孔、缝类型;保存条件良好,为页岩气提供有利的成藏环境。  相似文献

Shale gas has been the exploration focus for future energy supply in South Africa in recent time. Specifically, the Permian black shales of the Prince Albert, Whitehill, Collingham, Ripon and Fort Brown Formations are considered to be most prospective rocks for shale gas exploration. In this study,outcrop and core samples from the Ecca Group were analyzed to assess their total organic carbon(TOC), organic matter type, thermal maturity and hydrocarbon generation potential. These rocks have TOC ranging from 0.11 to 7.35 wt%. The genetic potential values vary from 0.09 to 0.53 mg HC/g,suggesting poor hydrocarbon generative potential. Most of the samples have Hydrogen Index(HI) values of less than 50 mg HC/g TOC, thus suggesting Type-Ⅳ kerogen. Tmax values range from 318℃ to601℃, perhaps indicating immature to over-maturity of the samples. The vitrinite reflectance values range from 2.22% to 3.93%, indicating over-maturity of samples. Binary plots of HI against Oxygen Index(OI), and HI versus Tmax show that the shales are of Type II and mixed Type Ⅱ-Ⅲ kerogen.Based on the geochemical data, the potential source rocks are inferred as immature to over-matured and having present-day potential to produce gas.  相似文献

四川盆地油气资源丰富,盆地内发育多套富有机质泥页岩,并形成了多套优质生储盖组合。奥陶系是四川盆地下组合目前勘探关注的重要层系,但尚未取得重要油气勘探突破,该成藏组合是否存在烃源岩是该层系油气勘探关注的核心问题之一。下奥陶统湄潭组主要为一套陆棚相泥页岩沉积,分布广、厚度大,其生烃潜力备受关注。基于地层发育特征,通过岩性组合分析、古生物鉴定和微量元素测试,并结合有机质丰度(TOC)参数,结果显示四川盆地在湄潭组沉积期存在川南和川北两个沉积中心:川南沉积中心厚度大,但砂岩或砂质含量多,不利于烃源岩发育;川北沉积中心湄潭组岩性主要为深灰色-灰黑色泥岩、页岩和粉砂质泥岩;疑源类化石和微量元素组成表明沉积环境利于烃源岩发育,TOC达到一般烃源岩标准,因此认为川北地区存在湄潭组烃源岩沉积中心。通过湄潭组有机地球化学分析和源储匹配成藏解剖,结合烃源岩空间分布预测认为,湄潭组烃源岩能为川北-川东北地区上寒武统-奥陶系油气成藏提供烃源保障;以湄潭组为烃源,可形成上生下储、源储通过不整合相接的"湄潭组生-上寒武统洗象池组储"有利成藏组合和下生上储、源储通过断层相接的"湄潭组生-中奥陶统宝塔组储"的潜在成藏组合。湄潭组生烃潜力的确认和2种成藏组合的建立,扩大了川北-川东北地区勘探空间,对上寒武统-奥陶系实现勘探突破具有重要意义。  相似文献

Organic geochemical analysis, palynology, and PetroMod software for the organic matters of subsurface Tithonian to Valanginian Sulaiy formation of six wells in Basrah Region, South Iraq showed evidences for hydrocarbon generation potential. These analyses include quantitative studies such as pyrolysis, fluorescence spectroscopy, and total organic carbon (TOC), while the qualitative studies are the textural microscopy used in evaluating amorphous organic matter for palynofacies analysis leading to hydrocarbon assessments. High TOC content of up to 7.3 wt.%, kerogen type II of mesoliptinic type with hydrogen index of up to 466 mg HC/g TOC, and mature organic matter along with dysoxic–anoxic environment and stratigraphic framework have rated the succession as a source rock for oil with ordinate gas, not only in Iraq but also in neighboring Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. This case study is also inferred for hydrocarbon generation and expulsion by PetroMod software which confirmed the source potential.  相似文献

为了研究饶阳凹陷沙一下亚段优质源岩的地球化学特征及其成藏贡献.基于有机碳、热解、生烃模拟实验评价源岩生烃潜力;基于源岩GC-MS实验和生烃潜力评价结果,描述源岩分子地球化学及有机相特征,利用多元数理统计方法,建立油-岩关系并定量计算原油中各源岩贡献率,总结了沙一下亚段成藏贡献规律.研究表明:沙一下亚段源岩的生烃潜力在凹陷内发育的3套源岩中最大,并且ω(伽马蜡烷)/ω(C30藿烷)、ω(甾烷)/ω(藿烷)等生物标志物参数与其他两套源岩有明显区别.原油样品可以划分为沙一下亚段来源,沙一下和沙三段混源和沙三上和下段混源3种成因类型.成藏贡献计算结果显示沙一下亚段源岩总贡献率达到58%,对东营组、馆陶和明化镇组原油贡献达到77%,对沙河街组原油贡献达到66%.饶阳凹陷沙一下亚段源岩是一套非常优质的烃源岩,成藏贡献大,应得到更多关注.沙一下亚段源岩高贡献区分布受到地质条件、成藏模式和源岩有机相控制,古近系和新近系储层原油主要来源于沙一下亚段源岩.   相似文献

准噶尔盆地腹部及西南缘侏罗系烃源岩厚度大,分布广,部分层段烃源岩较好,并已发现油源贡献,勘探前景较好。本文在前人基础之上,依据有机地球化学及有机岩石学的实验室分析测试手段,系统研究了侏罗系烃源岩分布特征、生烃潜力、分子地球化学特征及沉积环境。结果表明,盆1井西凹陷整体上侏罗系烃源岩生烃潜力较差,沙湾凹陷侏罗系八道湾组与西山窑组部分层段生烃潜力较好,三工河组烃源岩较差,四棵树凹陷侏罗系八道湾组分布较好的烃源岩,而三工河组与西山窑组烃源岩较差。此外,八道湾组沉积早期,主要发育三角洲前缘亚相与滨浅湖相,沙湾凹陷发育滨浅湖相、湖沼相,其南部发育半深湖相,有机质发育,烃源岩主要形成于以陆源高等植物输入为主的弱氧化-强氧化的沉积环境。三工河组沉积期,研究区大部分地区发育滨浅湖相,沙湾凹陷及东部地区局部发育半深湖相,烃源岩形成于强氧化的沉积环境,有机生源主要为陆源高等植物碎屑。西山窑组沉积期间,玛湖凹陷、陆梁隆起带及盆1井西凹陷发育三角洲平原与前缘亚相,沉积中心向沙湾凹陷的东部和南缘迁移,主要发育半深湖相沉积,烃源岩主要形成于弱氧化-强氧化的湖沼环境,生源输入以陆源高等植物为主。  相似文献

通过岩石热解、饱和烃色谱-质谱、镜质体反射率等分析测试,对辽西牛营子盆地辽凌地1井侏罗系北票组烃源岩的有机质丰度、类型及成熟度进行了详细分析,综合评价了其生烃潜力.研究结果表明,侏罗系北票组有机碳含量分布在0.75%~37.9%,平均值为11.68%,有机质类型为Ⅲ型和Ⅱ2型,镜质体反射率Ro主要分布于0.57%~0.62%之间,平均为0.60%,属于低成熟演化阶段.综合评价认为,牛营子盆地侏罗系北票组具有一定的生烃潜力.  相似文献

The Jurassic shale is an important source rock for the found gas reservoirs in the Tarim Basin, northwestern China, but has never been researched for shale gas potential. The geological effects on methane adsorption capacity for the gas shale have been investigated in this paper through the geochemical, mineralogical and adsorption analyses on samples from wells and sections. The methane adsorption capacity ranges from 0.58 to 16.57 cm3/g, and the total organic carbon (TOC) content is between 0.5 and 13.5 wt%. The organic maturity measured by Tmax is between 410 °C (immature) and 499 °C (overmature). The methane adsorption capacity of the Jurassic continental shale in the Tarim Basin is affected by many geological factors, including the TOC content, organic matter maturity, mineral composition, surface area and pore size distribution. The TOC content is the most significant factor with a positive effect on the adsorption capacity of the Jurassic shale, and the influence varies piecewise according to the TOC content. The TOC content contributes much more to the methane adsorption capacity of organic‐rich shale samples (TOC content > 0.7 wt%) than to the organic‐lean samples (TOC content < 0.7 wt%). The mineral composition is a secondary factor, and the abundance of clay content has a positive effect on the methane adsorption capacity despite its relatively weaker adsorption ability compared to TOC. The pore size distribution has different effects on surface area and pore volume. Mesopores and micropores provide the major surface area and are mainly derived from TOC and illite, which has a positive influence on the adsorption capacity. Mesopores and macropores offer the major pore volume and are mainly formed by illite, which is the major contributor for pore volume rather than surface area. In addition, the TOC and illite contents of the Jurassic shale in the Tarim Basin are closely related to the origin, maturity and diagenesis evolution of the shale: (1) both TOC and illite content variations are related to the different provenances and depositional environments of shale; (2) the decrease of TOC content with increasing maturity is also partly attributed to hydrocarbon generation; and (3) the increase of illite content with increasing maturity is due to illitization in the diagenesis of shale. 在野外地质勘查、典型剖面实测、样品采集及实验分析基础上,对拉布达林盆地潜在的烃源岩的有机质丰度、类型、成熟度等有机地球化学特征进行了分析评价.结果表明:1)上石炭统新伊根河组有机碳含量和生烃潜力均较低,有机质类型为I型,普遍达到到高成熟-过成熟阶段,为差烃源岩;2)中侏罗统万宝组有机碳含量中等,生烃潜力偏低,有机质类型为I型和II1型,处于低成熟阶段,为中等-差烃源岩;3)上侏罗统满克头鄂博组有机碳含量中等,生烃潜力较好,有机质类型为II1型,处于低成熟阶段,为较好烃源岩;4)下白垩统大磨拐河组有机碳含量较高,生烃潜力较好,有机质类型为为II1型和II2型,处于低成熟-成熟阶段,为好烃源岩.  相似文献

In this article, we describe the geological features of the Ediacaran (upper Sinian), lower Cambrian and lower Silurian shale intervals in the Upper Yangtze Platform, South China, and report on the gas potential of 53 samples from these major marine shale formations. Reflected light microscopy, total organic carbon (TOC) measurement, Rock-Eval, carbon isotope ratio analysis, thermovaporization gas chromatography (Tvap-GC), and open pyrolysis gas chromatography (open py-GC) were used to characterize the organic matter. Measured TOC in this research is normally >2% and averages 5%. TOC contents are roughly positively correlated with increasing geological age, i.e. lower Silurian shales exhibit generally lower TOC contents than lower Cambrian shales, which in turn commonly have lower TOC contents than Ediacaran shales. Kerogen has evolved to the metagenesis stage, which was demonstrated by the abundant pyrobitumen on microphotographs, the high calculated vitrinite reflectance (Ro = 3%) via bitumen reflectance (Rb), as well as δ13 C of gas (methane) inclusions. Pyrolysates from Tvap-GC and open py-GC are quantitatively low and only light hydrocarbons were detected. The lower Silurian shale generally exhibits higher generation of hydrocarbon than the lower Cambrian and Ediacaran shale. Cooles’ method and Claypool’s equations were used to reconstruct the original TOC and Rock-Eval parameters of these overmature samples. Excellent original hydrocarbon generation was revealed in that the original TOC (TOCo) is between 5% and 23%, and original S1+S2 (S1o+S2o) is ranging from 29 to 215 mg HC/g rock.  相似文献

The Proterozoic Sirban Limestone Formation (SLFm) crops out as detached allochthons in the northwest Himalaya (Jammu region, India) and has its coeval equivalents laterally disposed in the west in Salt Range, in the northwest in Abbotabad (Pakistan) and in southeast in Himachal Pradesh (India). The oil and gas occurrences have been reported from the Proterozoic successions globally and the hydrocarbon potential of the SLFm cannot be ruled out.The interbedded shales and algal laminated dolostones within the SLFm have yielded microflora comparable to those reported in the North African Neoproterozoic sandstones and the Late Proterozoic carbonates of the giant oil and gas fields of the Siberian Platform. The SLFm contains a rich and diverse biota comprising ~ 10% of the rock volume in thin section. The rich organic assemblage justified a hydrocarbon source potential analysis of the SLFm, tested in this study by Rock Eval (RE) pyrolysis.RE pyrolysis yielded a total organic carbon (TOC) content of 0.02 to 1 wt. % with very low Hydrogen Index (HI) values for the shales and TOC content averaging 0.02 wt. % for the dolostones. The organically lean shales and dolostones exhibit Tmax values indicative of immature to post mature stage. But, since these values are for the samples with complex thermal and tectonic history the results may be unreliable. The highly altered organic matter and kerogen present in the SLFm had the potential to generate hydrocarbons and presently indicates no significant source potential. This study is important for understanding the hydrocarbon occurrences in the SLFm particularly in light of the recent oil and gas discoveries from the coeval Proterozoic successions.  相似文献

柴达木盆地西部第三系发现了储量可观的油气资源,但是总体上讲这里的生油层钙质含量高、有机质丰度低;如何识别有效生油岩,正确评价油气资源潜量,成为这里油气勘探和地球化学的首要问题。通过上、下干柴沟组生油岩的沉积特征和地球化学分析,可发现盐湖相存在许多有机质丰度较高的生油岩;利用热解和模拟实验等方法确定出有效生油岩的有机碳含量下限为 0.4%。这样既为该区生油岩提供了评价标准,又找到大量有效生油岩,解决了研究区油气资源预测的基本问题.  相似文献

通过岩石热解、饱和烃色谱-质谱、镜质体反射率等分析测试方法,对凌源-宁城盆地小庄户剖面蓟县系洪水庄组烃源岩的有机质丰度、类型及成熟度进行了详细分析,综合评价了其生烃潜力.研究结果表明,蓟县系洪水庄组有机碳的含量分布在0.42%~2.65%,平均值为1.46%。应用Pr/n-C17与Ph/n-C18的相关关系及干酪根碳同位素分析,判断其有机质类型为Ⅰ型和Ⅱ1型.镜质体反射率Ro主要分布于0.62%~0.81%之间,平均为0.73%;岩石热解参数Tmax主要为429~447℃,平均值为440.44℃,指示洪水庄组烃源岩属于成熟演化阶段。综合评价认为,凌源-宁城盆地蓟县系洪水庄组具有良好的生油气潜力.  相似文献

Evaluation of source rock potential using well log data alone, e.g. density or sonic log, is limited to the assessment of total organic carbon (TOC) content. Well logs that directly measure the most important source quality parameter, the hydrogen content of the kerogen, do not exist. Therefore, a method is proposed that combines log-derived TOC data with calibration schemes relating TOC content to Hydrogen Index and maturity for individual source rock sets. The method has been applied to the compositionally heterogeneous Kimmeridge Clay Formation of the North Sea and the homogeneous Lower Toarcian Shale of N.-Germany. The combination of well log and geochemical data greatly improves the accuracy with which the lateral and vertical distribution of source rocks and their potential can be predicted on a basin and prospect level.  相似文献
