鱼卡-落风坡榴辉岩-片麻岩单元位于柴北缘HP/UHP变质带的西段.微构造分析和岩相学观察显示,榴辉岩及相关岩石经历了3期与俯冲和折返作用有关的变质变形阶段:①前榴辉岩相阶段,变质变形组构主要以包裹体的形式保存在具有生长环带的石榴子石核部,矿物组合为Ep Pl Amp,并局部显示出S形或反S形分布的特征,反映与俯冲作用有关的变形组构以不对称的旋转应变为特征.②榴辉岩相变质变形阶段,以绿辉石、多硅白云母等矿物围绕石榴子石定向分布为特征,构成榴辉岩相条件下的面理和拉伸线理.缺乏明显的不对称组构,显示榴辉岩相的变形作用以共轴变形为特征.③后榴辉岩相变质变形阶段,以角闪石、斜长石等矿物的定向分布为特征,其变形组构主要存在于围绕榴辉岩透镜体分布的退变榴辉岩(角闪石化榴辉岩)和围岩中,与区域上占主导地位的片麻岩中角闪岩相的变形构造一致,与榴辉岩的折返作用有关.榴辉岩及相关岩石的变质变形演化代表了鱼卡-落风坡榴辉岩-片麻岩单元从俯冲到折返的构造热历史.  相似文献

对雅江北部热隆变质体的变质作用、成因机制有过不少的研究,提出过不同的认识。作者应用微观构造与宏观构造相结合的方法,再次对该变质体变形-变质作用进行分析研究,详细阐述了变质体变形-变质作用的特征、相互关系、变质压力-温度条件及成因机制等问题,认识到热隆变质体的形成主要是推覆滑脱使地壳局部熔融引热隆扩展而产生,它们曾经历过复杂的变质-变形过程,最终形成了现今的变质分带和构造面貌。  相似文献

构造变形/变质作用的精细测年及其在造山带研究中的应用   总被引:10,自引:0,他引:10  
最近几年 ,增生造山过程中构造变形 /变质作用及其精细年代学研究正成为造山带研究的热点之一。造山带内部大型剪切带的运动、变形 /变质事件的精细定年对深入研究增生造山过程具有重要意义。通过把精确的测年数据与约束运动学的、变形 /变质的显微组构结合起来 ,可以比较精细地重建或复原造山带内部不同构造块体增生拼贴的精细时空过程 ,以及建立与之相一致的造山带形成的应变热模式。同时 ,近 3~ 4年的研究结果也表明 ,构造变形 /变质精确定年还存在许多难点 ,如变形矿物形成机制对其测年结果的影响、变形矿物粒度大小对定年结果的制约关系、以及构造变形 /变质过程中矿物同位素体系的变化机理对测年理论与技术质疑等。文中详细介绍了国外目前有关增生造山作用研究的一个热点———构造变形 /变质精细年代学研究的现状和意义、存在的问题和难点 ,以及新技术方法及其可行性和应用等 ,目的在于提请国内同行在进行相关研究时对此能予以重视。  相似文献

新疆阿尔泰地区的红柱石-矽线石型递增变质带,由绿泥石-黑云母带、黑云母-石榴石带、石榴石-十字石带、十字石-红柱石带和矽线石带组成;递增变质作用峰期温度、压力分别为T=580~680℃、P=4.0~5.1kbar;递增变质作用形成的变质岩中含有丰富的独居石副矿物,而且Th-U-Pb含量比较高,适合电子探针独居石化学法定年。依据电子探针独居石Th-U-Pb化学法(CHIME法)定年,变质时代为(262±10)~(264±22)Ma。表明红柱石-矽线石型递增变质带形成于二叠纪中期,为古亚洲洋闭合时间提供了直接的年代学依据。  相似文献

猛洞岩群出露于中越边境滇东南老君山地区,是一套前寒武系变质沉积-岩浆杂岩,其所处大地构造位置特殊,对滇东南地质演化,乃至华南大陆西端以及特提斯构造域形成与演化具有重要的科学意义。在系统野外调研基础上,本文利用光学显微镜、电子显微镜、电子探针等微观研究手段,对猛洞岩群变质-变形进行了详细的研究。研究发现,猛洞岩群地层宏观构造发育同构造分泌结晶脉、顺层褶皱、透镜体等,微观构造发育云母鱼构造、膝折构造、石英矩形条带等现象。显微组构统计表明猛洞岩群经历过北东-南西、南东-北西向、近东西向、北东-南西(近南北向)挤压过程,与上述宏观、微观现象基本一致。同时,猛洞岩群片岩中黑云母-石榴石温压计分别为429℃、0.5GPa,片麻岩中电气石-黑云母温度计平均温度为546℃,为绿片岩相-低角闪岩相。石英斜长角闪片麻岩中榍石和金红石TIMS U-Pb同位素年龄分别为236Ma和170Ma。以上工作表明,滇东南猛洞岩群记录了多期变质-变形作用,其中主期变质-变形年龄为236Ma,控制了变质杂岩系的宏观构造格架,其应力(σ1)为南东-北西向挤压,近南北向、近东西向挤压可能为与上述主应变相匹配的次级应变方向;但北东-南西向挤压可能为主变质-变形之后的另一次变质-变形产物,时间限定为170Ma,代表老君山穹窿燕山早期的伸展-剪切活动。因此,本文认为老君山-Song Chay穹窿先后经历了印支期南北向推覆挤压作用,晚印支期-早燕山期伸展-剪切作用以及中晚燕山期接触变质作用;且老君山穹窿开始隆升时限为236Ma左右,与周边的特提斯闭合、碰撞时间基本一致;至170Ma穹窿发生垮塌后的伸展剪切活动。文山-麻栗坡NE方向广泛发育印支期飞来峰及异地岩,可能指示包括猛洞岩群在内的前印支期地层是一套从越南北部推覆而至的外来岩体。上述认识为华南西端的构造演化探讨提供了证据。  相似文献

位于哀牢山-红河剪切带NW延伸方向上的点苍山变质杂岩体遭受强烈的左行走滑剪切变形、变质作用改造,岩石中保存了典型的高温矿物组合以及由它们构成的宏观和微观高温变形构造特征,其中糜棱岩中具有极其发育的长石矿物拉伸线理而形成典型的L与LS型构造岩是其一个明显的特征。本文对点苍山地区高温糜棱岩主要矿物开展了显微构造与矿物变形、变形机制及组构分析,并对于遭受高温糜棱岩化改造的一个花岗质岩体开展了SHRIMP锆石U-Pb定年分析。结果表明岩石中长石、角闪石、石英等主要矿物具有典型的达角闪岩相条件下的高温晶质塑性变形和动态生长特征,它们也为走滑剪切变形活动提供了充分的微观构造证据。对于点苍山高温糜棱岩化改造的眼球状或似斑状二长花岗岩的显微构造分析结果表明,这套花岗质岩石从走滑剪切前期岩浆的侵位之后经历了早期强烈的岩浆期后交代作用—亚岩浆流动—高温固态塑性剪切变形的递进演化过程。由此可见,岩浆的上升与就位受左行走滑剪切作用的制约,岩体又遭受了强烈剪切变形改造。同时对这套构造前期就位花岗质岩石中的锆石进行定年分析,获得33.88±0.32Ma的岩浆结晶年龄,为此,我们有充分的理由认为,在点苍山地区哀牢山-红河剪切带左行走滑剪切作用的起始时间至少应该为早渐新世30.88±0.32Ma。  相似文献

石榴夕线片麻岩是中、下地壳主要组成岩石之一,岩石内石榴石和夕线石的结晶学优选方位会显著影响地壳深部流变性质,因此探讨特征变质矿物的变形机制和主要受控因素对构造带深部演化过程有深远意义。本文选取红河-哀牢山韧性剪切带内石榴夕线片麻岩为研究对象,通过定向切片内显微构造、电子探针、X-ray成分扫描、电子背散射衍射(EBSD)和相平衡模拟综合研究,揭示出石榴石在溶解沉淀反应过程中具有明显的粒度敏感性,不同粒径石榴石表现出截然不同的长宽比、成分环带、包裹体排列方式和压力影发育情况。石榴石表面流体活动明显截切早期生长环带。EBSD分析揭示石榴石破碎颗粒以绕〈112〉轴机械旋转为主,溶解过程主要集中于颗粒表面和裂隙内高曲率位置。夕线石的EBSD结果表明基质内夕线石以绕〈010〉轴旋转为主,而流体作用明显区域夕线石则以(100)[001]滑移为主。岩石相平衡模拟限定岩石变质峰期P-T条件达高压麻粒岩相,退变过程中同剪切变形导致大量流体渗入而形成降温降压退变轨迹,由~9.5kbar、760℃演化至~6.0kbar、500~600℃,并在粗粒石榴石内保存早期进变质环带,剪切抬升过程中石榴石内普遍发育垂直剪切方向的裂隙,并在流体作用下进一步改造其形态。此研究揭示红河-哀牢山剪切带内除前人报道的石榴石高温韧性变形外,还存在大量中-上地壳层次同变质反应下的溶解-沉淀蠕变作用。因此,石榴石变质-变形的综合研究有助于揭示变质杂岩带挤压-剪切-伸展多阶段构造演化过程。  相似文献

出露于桐柏造山带松扒-龟梅断裂带南侧的龟山杂岩经历了两阶段变质及多期变形作用,但其变质变形时代及其与秦岭造山带中产于相同构造部位的武关杂岩的构造关系尚缺乏深入研究.为此,对取自于龟山杂岩中的4件变质沉积岩和2件变质火山岩样品中的白云母进行了40Ar/39Ar同位素定年.结果表明,白云母的40Ar/39Ar坪年龄从306.7±1.7 Ma(保存最好的白云母斑晶)延续到279.2±2.6 Ma(经历后期变形改造的白云母).结合前期锆石U-Pb定年结果推测龟山杂岩的两阶段变质及主期逆冲推覆变形均发生在石炭纪,并在二叠纪遭受到左行走滑剪切作用的改造.龟山杂岩与武关杂岩具有类似的岩石组成和变质变形演化历史,二者共同构成一条>500 km的晚古生代中级变质带,是华北-华南陆块最终碰撞之前大洋俯冲-增生的产物.   相似文献

苏鲁高压-超高压变质带由不同层次、不同级别、不同变质岩石组合的构造岩片堆叠而成,自北向南可分别为9个构造岩片。这种复杂的结构的形成和发展主要受早期的变质变形作用控制,并被晚期构造作用改造。本文重点对高压-超高压变质带的构造变形进行了分析,自元古宙—中生代韧性改造事件可分为4期。最后在以上工作的基础上对其形成的地质背景进行了探讨,指出了两次高压-超高压变质事件存在的可能,而且其新元古代的构造事件可与全球Rodinian超大陆的形成与裂解相对比。  相似文献

High-resolution compositional mapping and dating of monazite on the electron microprobe is a powerful addition to microstructural analysis and an increasingly important tool for tectonic analysis. Microprobe monazite geochronology can be an efficient reconnaissance tool for evaluating metamorphic and deformational age domains, but more importantly, its in-situ nature and high spatial resolution offer an entirely new level of structurally and texturally specific geochronologic data that can be used to put absolute time constraints on PTD paths, constrain the rates of metamorphic and deformational processes, and provide new links between metamorphism and deformation. Microprobe geochronology is particularly applicable to three persistent microstructural/microtextural problem areas: (1) constraining the chronology of metamorphic assemblages; (2) constraining the timing of deformational fabrics; and (3) interpreting other geochronological results. Although some monazite generations can be directly tied to metamorphism or deformation, at present, the most common constraints rely on monazite inclusion relations in porphyroblasts that, in turn, can be tied to the deformation and/or metamorphic history. Microprobe mapping and dating allow geochronology to be incorporated into the routine microstructural analytical process, resulting in a new level of integration of time (t) into PTD histories.  相似文献

以化学法独居石电子探针定年的原理以及前人改良过的年龄计算公式为基础,利用全微分和最大误差原理,确定了年龄误差计算新方法。并用Visual C语言在Windows平台下编制出了计算年龄和年龄误差的计算机程序。运用此程序对前人公开发表的分析资料和计算的年龄以及年龄误差数据进行了重新计算,验证了给出的误差公式的可靠性。同时,利用JXA—8100电子探针仪对新疆东天山变质沉积岩的两个样品(KM2127—5,DK2107—2)中的独居石进行了电子探针微区U—Th—Pb成分分析。结果表明,样品DK2107—2记录了两期变质作用,峰期年龄分别是341.0±3.9Ma和255.2±3.3Ma,其中最主要的变质峰期年龄为341.0±3.9Ma,该期的矿物组合为Ky+St+Bt+Pl+Q+/-Or;而255.2±3.3Ma和样品KM2127-5记录的变质峰期年龄262.3±4.4Ma为次要变质峰期年龄,该期矿物组合是Cord+Bt+Pl+Or+Q。分析结果与前人用^40Ar—^39Ar法得到的结果相吻合,表明独居石电子探针定年技术是一种可靠有效的测年方法。  相似文献

Within the Ötztal Complex (ÖC), migmatites are the only geological evidence of the pre-Variscan metamorphic evolution, which led to the occurrence of partial anatexis in different areas of the complex. We investigated migmatites from three localities in the ÖC, the Winnebach migmatite in the central part and the Verpeil- and Nauderer Gaisloch migmatite in the western part. We determined metamorphic stages using textural relations and electron microprobe analyses. Furthermore, chemical microprobe ages of monazites were obtained in order to associate the inferred stages of mineral growth to metamorphic events. All three migmatites show evidence for a polymetamorphic evolution (pre-Variscan, Variscan) and only the Winnebach migmatite shows evidence for a P-accentuated Eo-Alpine metamorphic overprint in the central ÖC. The P-T data range from 670–750 °C and < 2.8 kbar for the pre-Variscan event, 550–650 °C and 4–7 kbar for the Variscan event and 430–490 °C and ca. 8.5 kbar for the P-accentuated Eo-Alpine metamorphic overprint. U-Th-Pb electron microprobe dating of monazites from the leucosomes from all three migmatites provides an average age of 441 ± 18 Ma, thus indicating a pervasive Ordovician-Silurian metamorphic event in the ÖC.  相似文献

Interpreting tectonic histories from metamorphic tectonites requires an understanding of the linkages and feedbacks between deformation and metamorphism. Relationships between deformation and metamorphism can be divided into two broad groups: active and passive. Active relationships involve direct interactions whereby deformation directly influences metamorphic reactions or metamorphism directly affects the rate or style of deformation. One of the most important ‘active’ relationships is the role that deformation plays in helping to remove unstable reactant phases and to promote the growth of stable product phases. Passive relationships are correlations or linkages that allow the deformation history to be integrated with the metamorphic history. Compositional mapping of major and accessory phases and especially maps of larger thin section domains are particularly valuable for evaluating strain partitioning, scales of equilibrium, relationships between metamorphic textures and deformational fabrics, and in particular, for interpreting geochronological data. Petrological pseudosections are an increasingly utilized tool for interpreting microtextures and for linking deformation, metamorphism, and large‐scale tectonics. In situ geochronology and petrological analysis of chronometer phases (i.e. monazite, xenotime, titanite, allanite, etc.) are a critical part of tectonic analysis of metamorphic rocks. The electron microprobe plays an essential role in characterizing chronometer phases and placing them into the context of silicate fabrics and textures.  相似文献

Phase equilibrium modelling and monazite microprobe dating were used to characterize the polymetamorphic evolution of metapelites from the northern part of the Vepor Unit, West Carpathians. Three generations of garnet and associated metamorphic assemblages found in these rocks correspond to three distinct metamorphic events related to the Variscan orogeny, a Permian phase of crustal extension and the Alpine orogeny. Variscan staurolite‐bearing and Alpine chloritoid‐bearing assemblages record medium‐temperature and medium‐pressure regional metamorphisms reaching 540–570 °C/5–7.5 kbar and 530–550 °C/5–6.5 kbar respectively. The Permian metamorphic assemblage involves garnet, andalusite, sillimanite, biotite, muscovite, plagioclase and corundum and locally forms silica‐undersaturated andalusite‐biotite‐spinel coronas around older staurolite. The transition from andalusite to sillimanite indicates a prograde low‐pressure and medium‐temperature metamorphism characterized by temperature increase from 500 to 650 °C at ~3 kbar. As accessory monazite is abundant in the rocks, an attempt was made to derive its age of formation by means of electron microprobe‐based Th‐U‐Pb chemical dating. Despite the polymetamorphic nature of the metapelites, the monazite yielded uniform Permian ages. Microstructures confirm that monazite was formed in relation to the low‐pressure and medium‐temperature paragenesis, and the weighted average ages obtained for two different samples are 278 ± 5 and 275 ± 12 Ma respectively. The virtual lack of Variscan and Alpine monazite populations points to interesting aspects concerning the growth systematics of monazite in metamorphic rocks.  相似文献

The combination of ion microprobe dating and cathodoluminescence (CL) imaging of zircons from a high-grade rock from the Central Zone of the Limpopo Belt were used to constrain the age of metamorphic events in the area. Zircon grains extracted from an orthopyroxene-gedrite-bearing granulite were prepared for single crystal CL-imaging and ion microprobe dating. The grains display complex zoning when using SEM-based CL-imaging. A common feature in most grains is the presence of a distinct core with a broken oscillatory zoned structure, which clearly appears to be the remnant of an original grain of igneous origin. This core is overgrown by an unzoned thin rim measuring about 10–30 μm in diameter, which is considered as new zircon growth during a single metamorphic event. Selected domains of the zircon grains were analysed for U, Pb and Th isotopic composition using a CAMECA IMS 1270 ion microprobe (Nordsim facility). Most of the grains define a near-concordant cluster with some evidence of Pb loss. The most concordant ages of the cores yielded a weighted mean 207Pb/206Pb age of 2689 ± 15 (2σ) Ma, interpreted as the age of the protolith of an igneous origin. The unzoned overgrowths of the zircon grains yielded a considerably younger weighted mean 207Pb/206Pb age of ∼2006.5 ± 8.0 Ma (2σ), and these data are interpreted to reflect closely the age of the ubiquitous high-grade metamorphic event in the Central Zone. This study shows clearly, based on both the internal structure of the zircons and the data obtained by ion microprobe dating, that only a single metamorphic event is recorded by the studied 2.69 Ga old rocks, and we found no evidence of an earlier metamorphic event at ∼2.5 Ga as postulated earlier by some workers.  相似文献

作为东海青龙山榴辉岩围岩的高压变质的正片麻岩,其白云母的常规^40Ar/^39Ar年龄和Rb—Sr、Sm—Nd年龄一致,激光微区Ar同位素分析表明,白云母的Ar同位素分布也是均匀的。由此得出的初步结论是:①高压变质的正片麻岩中的白云母中不含过剩Ar,这类矿物可以作为^40Ar/^39Ar同位素测年的对象;②青龙山榴辉岩中的白云母含大量过剩氩,而作为其围岩的超高压正片麻岩中的白云母却不含过剩氩,这一事实证明了榴辉岩中白云母的过剩氩不是来自围岩,而是榴辉岩自身继承的。  相似文献
