A procedure is presented which allows site response analyses to be performed with any general multidimensional finite element analysis package. Numerical results which corrorate the theory are presented. Also, as an illustration of the procedure, results of an effective stress analysis for the scismic response and liquefaction of a horizontally layered saturated sand deposit are presented.  相似文献

A method is presented which allows the computation of the displacements and pore pressures which are generated in an elastic soil when excavation is carried out. The formulation is based on Biot's theory and is fully coupled, with consideration also given to the effects of the lowering of the water table which often accompanies the excavation of soil. The problems involved in the factor analysis of data consisting of measurements of material quantity or proportion are discussed, and the inability of existing factor analysis solutions to properly model such data is pointed out. A new factor analysis solution using the linear programming technique is presented which properly analyzes mixture data. A numerical example is presented in which a body of suspended sediment grain-size distribution data is analyzed using the new factor analysis solution. FORTRAN-IV subroutines for computing this solution are included in an Appendix.  相似文献

A settlement analysis of a cohesionless soil layer subjected to an earthquake is presented. A theoretical solution utilizing Bessel functions and based on the so-called densification model for amplitudes has been obtained. This permits to calculate the settlement under cyclic loading. The simplified formula is also presented which allows for the fast and straightforward estimation of settlement. A numerical example is included giving the comparison of results obtained by different methods.  相似文献

对三维黏弹性人工边界给出了一种实用的地震波动输入方法。用等效边界力法进行地震波动输入时,把入射地震波假设为竖直向上入射的平面波,使施加在人工边界上的总荷载可以由输入波位移和速度的关系式完全表达,使地震动输入更容易在有限元计算程序中实现。解决了三维黏弹性人工边界采用球面波进行地震波动输入会出现尚待确定的未知项,不易实现地震波动的输入的困难。数值算例表明,该地震波动输入方法是十分有效的。  相似文献

In this work, the analytical and numerical solutions for modeling miscible gas and water injection into an oil reservoir are presented. Conservation laws with three levels of complexity are considered. Only the most complex model has the correct phase behavior for the example system, which is a multicontact miscible condensing gas drive with simultaneous water and gas injection. Example displacements in which one or both of the simpler models result in accurate simulations in a fraction of the computation time are presented, along with an example in which neither simplified thermodynamic model achieves a truly satisfactory result. A methodology is presented that can be used to establish the accuracy of simplified models in 1-D simulation based on convergence to analytical solutions for the full three-phase system.  相似文献

A major limitation of the use of high-resolution groundwater models on a regional scale for resource management by water companies is the excessive RAM requirements of such models which surpass the capacity of today's PCs. A strategy is presented to overcome this problem by using overlapping domain decomposition techniques. Furthermore, because very long computing time is the bottleneck for the practical use of this technique for large groundwater models, an analysis is also presented of a number of methods implemented to increase calculation performance. The approach presented here is characterized by a fairly simple structure that represents a generalized relaxation algorithm. A general model is presented for mixing processes between river and ocean water in which are established criteria for the identification of any non-conservative behavior of the dissolved constituents involved. A review of previous data shows that in no case has removal of silica been demonstrated unambiguously in estuarine regimes. A new derivation of the matrix equations of radiative transfer in a magnetic field is presented, which is based on the classical approach of M. Born and V.E. Stepanov. Convenient vector relations making it possible to formulate the radiative-transfer equations in an arbitrary coordinate system and choose a convenient system of Stokes parameters are presented. The cases of the solar atmosphere and a stellar atmosphere with a dipolar magnetic field are presented as examples. The use of the radiative-transfer equations written in terms of two main oscillation components (the method of V.E. Stepanov) can lead to crude errors when the complex nature of the absorption coefficients is taken into account.  相似文献

A solution is presented for the radial consolidation around stone columns under constant surcharge load. The solution considers the influence of vertical and radial deformation of the column, either in elastic and elastoplastic regimes. The solution is in terms of the average excess pore pressure in the soil. It is based on previous solutions, initially developed for rigid column, or including only vertical deformation. For elastic column, the solution gives the variation of strains and stresses between the undrained and final states, for which it coincides with the existing elastic solutions. All the results are given in closed form, and both the elastic and plastic deformations of the column lead to an equivalent coefficient of consolidation for the radial flow, which enables the application of the existing methods of integration of the consolidation equation. A parametric study is presented, showing the influence of the main problem features. A design example is used to illustrate the application to practical cases. 经典强度折减法的出发点是对强度值进行折减,进而导致对强度(准则)中的参数使用同一个折减系数。使边坡处于整体临界平衡状态的折减系数恰是边坡的强度储备安全系数。一些学者陆续提出了对黏聚力和内摩擦角采用不同折减系数的所谓双折减法,但尚无严格的理论依据。提出双折减法的出发点是对强度(准则)中的参数进行折减,或简称“强度参数折减”,这样可自然导致采用不同的折减系数,但此时已无法自动得到基于强度储备的安全系数。为此,提出了定义安全系数的新框架--基于参照边坡的安全系数定义,为双折减法建立了理论基础。将新提出的一种双折减法与经典强度折减法进行了比较,发现可以将经典强度折减法纳入该双折减法的计算过程,并从理论上证明了该双折减法的安全系数几乎总是小于经典强度折减法的安全系数,数值模拟实例也证实了这个结论。这表明,经典强度折减法有可能高估了边坡的安全性,建议的双折减法可作为边坡稳定分析的备选方法之一。  相似文献

降温速率对硫酸盐渍土的盐胀率有显著影响。随降温速率的减小,各种含盐量、密实度的硫酸渍土的盐胀率以幂函数增长,其通式为y=AVT^-B,但其增长规律彼此又有显著差别,主要表现在A、B参数的变化上,在试验范围内,A、B值随含盐量的增加而增加,随密度的增大而减小。  相似文献

A general method is presented for the analysis of horizontally embedded anchors in an elastic soil. Provision is made in the analysis for the consideration of anchor shape, layer depth, anchor–soil interface condition, breakaway of the anchor from the underlying soil and interaction between groups of anchors. Application of the analytical technique is illustrated for strip and circular anchors, and these solutions are presented in the form of influence charts which may be used directly in hand calculations to predict the elastic load deflection behaviour, of anchor plates for a wide variety of material and geometric conditions.  相似文献

A version of the Particle Finite Element Method applicable to geomechanics applications is presented. A simple rigid-plastic material model is adopted and the governing equations are cast in terms of a variational principle which facilitates a straightforward solution via mathematical programming techniques. In addition, frictional contact between rigid and deformable solids is accounted for using an approach previously developed for discrete element simulations. The capabilities of the scheme is demonstrated on a range of quasi-static and dynamic problems involving very large deformations.  相似文献

A simple and efficient numerical approach is presented for the cyclic axial loading analysis of vertical single piles embedded in a layered soil profile. The soil medium along the embedded pile is represented by simple “t–z” curves which define the shear stres-vertical displacement response of the soil at each particular depth. A hyperbolic “t-z” representation of the soil medium presented by Chin and Poulos, which caters for the case of a two-layered and “Gibson” soil profiles, is utilised. Under cyclic loading conditions, the well-known Masing's criteria governing the unloading and reloading responses are incorporated into the “t-z” curves. The cyclic loading effects of pile capacity degradation and accumulation of pile displacement are catered for in an approximate manner. Some numerical results are presented to show the important parameters affecting the cyclic response of single piles embedded in a layered soil. Finally, a comparison with field measurements of a cyclic pile load test shows general agreement between numerical and field results.  相似文献

A general semi-analytical method is presented for the analysis of seabed response under wave action during a storm. The seabed is idealized as a poro-elastic medium filled with a single compressible fluid with anisotropic flow. The coupled process of fluid flow and deformation of soil skeleton is formulated in the framework of Biot's theory. The analysis for the response of homogeneous seabed of finite thickness under a plane progressive wave is developed first, followed by an extension for the case of a layered seabed. A generalization for three-dimensional response of seabed is also developed for a general wave field which provides the analyses for seabed response under short-crested or standing waves in the vicinity of a structure. Some numerical examples illustrating the proposed analyses are also presented.  相似文献
