In western Bohemia, the Drahotín (gabbro-diorite) and Mutěnín (gabbronorite-diorite-syenite) intrusions show different origins and patterns of geochemical evolution. Parental magmas of the Drahotín intrusion were derived predominantly from enriched mantle sources, and the melts have undergone a significant degree of assimilation-fractional crystallization (AFC) during their ascent and/or emplacement into the crust. In contrast, the compositional variation of the complex Mutěnín intrusion cannot be explained by simple AFC processes, but more likely reflects the involvement of several parental magmas. The gabbronorite was derived from a depleted mantle source, whereas the diorite/syenite stem from a mixed mantle-crust reservoir. The contrasting evolution of the Drahotín and Mutěnín intrusions may be due to their melt derivation and magma emplacement under different tectonothermal regimes at different times.  相似文献

The problem of whether cumulate rocks were formed by crystal settling or by in situ crystallization after magma emplacement is an important issue concerning the mechanisms of magmatic differentiation. However, it is hard to distinguish these two processes for plutonic rocks because the primary texture and chemical composition have generally been modified by postcumulus processes. To contribute this problem, we studied the distribution and compositions of Cr-spinel inclusions hosted in olivine and plagioclase in the Murotomisaki Gabbroic Intrusion (MGI), SW Japan. It is shown that the olivine-hosted inclusions are restricted to specific horizons where accumulation of olivine phenocrysts is thought to have occurred and that the compositional variations of the Cr-spinel are explained by a secondary compositional modification that probably took place after the magma emplacement. It is also shown that the Cr-spinel inclusions in a chilled margin have suffered the least compositional modification and nearly retains the primary composition. Those in the interior of the intrusion, on the contrary, have been significantly modified by re-equilibration with residual melt driven by cation diffusions through the host phases. Those in plagioclase have been less modified. It is shown that all the spinel inclusions had primarily the same and common composition at the time of magma emplacement. This implies that all the inclusion-bearing crystals, olivine and plagioclase, represent primary phenocrysts that had already existed in the emplaced magma. In this way, spinel inclusion in the MGI may be regarded to be a useful petrographic “marker” for identifying intratelluric phenocrysts and also as a “tracer” to trace the motion of the primary phenocrysts after the magma emplacement.  相似文献

This simulation study shows how widely different model approaches can be adapted to model the evolution of the excavation disturbed zone (EDZ) around a heated nuclear waste emplacement drift in fractured rock. The study includes modeling of coupled thermal-hydrological-mechanical (THM) processes, with simplified consideration of chemical coupling in terms of time-dependent strength degradation or subcritical crack growth. The different model approaches applied in this study include boundary element, finite element, finite difference, particle mechanics, and elasto-plastic cellular automata methods. The simulation results indicate that thermally induced differential stresses near the top of the emplacement drift may cause progressive failure and permeability changes during the first 100 years (i.e., after emplacement and drift closure). Moreover, the results indicate that time-dependent mechanical changes may play only a small role during the first 100 years of increasing temperature and thermal stress, whereas such time-dependency is insignificant after peak temperature, because of decreasing thermal stress.  相似文献

城门山铜矿自二十世纪50年代发现以来,经过多年工作已被证实为一个大型的"三位一体"的铜多金属矿床,成矿与区内花岗闪长斑岩、石英斑岩有关。文章通过以往资料和实地工作成果研究,认为矿区内花岗闪长斑岩和石英斑岩二者存在演化关系,且两种岩浆的侵位机制的不同导致了其成岩时代、成矿专属性的不同。在没有经过演化分异之前的原始岩浆可能首先被九瑞地区的基底隆起运动抬升,后期花岗闪长斑岩岩浆从原始岩浆中分异出来并继续被抬升,形成被动侵位,并发生了中低温成矿元素和中高温成矿元素的运移和富集,形成与花岗闪长斑岩有关的铜、锌、金矿床;随后的构造运动叠加作用,使矿区断裂构造与剩余的石英斑岩岩浆联通,造成了其主动侵位,从而形成与石英斑岩有关的钼矿床。  相似文献

花岗质岩浆在地壳内的储存、迁移和分异,是导致大陆地壳生长演化的基本过程.有关地壳岩浆冷储存的新发现,挑战了数十年来深部存在以熔融体为主要组成的大岩浆房的观点.对活火山区的地球物理探测、岩石矿物学研究以及热历史模拟都一致证明,岩浆储库中的物质以晶粥为主,它们长时间处于固相线下的温度条件,属于冷储存状态.今天出露地表的大型侵入岩体,是古岩浆储库的代表,它们大都是在数百万年甚至更长的时间跨度内,多幕式的岩浆输运、累积侵位和多次添加组装而成的.侵入体的累积组装,可以通过岩石单元间接触关系的观察、岩石和矿物成分的不均一性研究以及侵入体内大的结晶时间跨度来证明.地壳浅部大型侵入体的形成,大体积的火山喷发,都要求存在穿地壳的岩浆通道系统,该系统中岩浆主要以岩墙形式将不同深度的岩浆储库串联起来,并通过无数岩床的堆垛而形成巨大的岩株或岩基等侵入体.高分异花岗岩和高硅流纹岩的存在,尤其是火山的超级喷发现象,要求岩浆储库的晶粥体发生活化和分异,而晶粥的解体往往是由于从下部侵入的新岩浆注入了额外的热和流体.保留在岩石中的晶体种群蕴含了侵入体累积组装、晶粥活化和岩浆分异的线索.尤其是再循环晶可以提供岩浆通道系统结构和演变的新信息.未来,在花岗岩成因研究中,重点要从晶粥活化与岩浆分异演化过程、岩浆上升和组装机制、火山岩与侵入岩的成因联系等方面入手,开展岩浆通道系统的跨学科研究,构建花岗岩岩浆过程研究的新范式,深入认识大陆地壳的生长和演化机理.   相似文献

Arguments are made in favor of using variation diagrams to plot analyses of igneous rocks and their derivatives and modeling differentiation processes by least-squares mixing procedures. These methods permit study of magmatic differentiation and related processes in terms ofall of the chemical data available. Data are presented as they are reported by the chemist and specific processes may be modeled and either quantitatively described or rejected as inappropriate or too simple.Examples are given of the differing interpretations that can arise when data are plotted on an AEM ternary vs. the same data on a full set of MgO variation diagrams. Mixing procedures are illustrated with reference to basaltic lavas from the Columbia Plateau.  相似文献

The Ulaan Tolgoi massif of rare-metal (Ta, Nb, and Zr) granites was formed at approximately 300Ma in the Eastern Sayan zone of rare-metal alkaline magmatism. The massif consists of alkaline salic rocks of various composition (listed in chronologic order of their emplacement): alkaline syenite → alkaline syenite pegmatite → pantellerite → alkaline granite, including ore-bearing alkaline granite, whose Ta and Nb concentrations reach significant values. The evolution of the massif ended with the emplacement of trachybasaltic andesite. The rocks of the massif show systematic enrichment in incompatible elements in the final differentiation products of the alkaline salic magmas. The differentiation processes during the early evolution of the massif occurred in an open system, with influx of melts that contained various proportions of incompatible elements. The magma system was closed during the origin of the ore-bearing granites. Rare-metal granitoids in the Eastern Sayan zone were produced by magmas formed by interaction between mantle melts (which formed the mafic dikes) with crustal material. The mantle melts likely affected the lower parts of the crust and either induced its melting, with later mixing the anatectic and mantle magmas, or assimilated crustal material and generated melts with crustal–mantle characteristics. The origin of the Eastern Sayan zone of rare-metal alkaline magmatism was related to rifting, which was triggered by interaction between the Tarim and Barguzin mantle plumes. The Eastern Sayan zone was formed in the marginal part of the Barguzin magmatic province, and rare-metal magmas in it were likely generated in relation with the activity of the Barguzin plume.  相似文献

为了解可尔因矿集区地质特征和成矿规律,查明矿集区地质找矿方向,对矿集区内成矿地质条件进行了系统分析和总结。研究表明稀有金属成矿主要与印支晚期—燕山早期的中-酸性花岗岩有关,岩浆侵位与成矿伟晶岩脉之间具有结晶分异演化关系。含矿岩浆不均一的结晶分异作用,导致了稀有金属矿化多分布在可尔因岩体东部和南部。在过铝质高挥发分的钙碱性-高钾钙碱性岩浆侵位和结晶分异演化过程中,在岩体与地层的接触带构造发育地段,形成了伟晶岩型稀有金属矿体,具有"岩浆岩-地层-构造"控制成矿的特征。据此提出了矿集区内的找矿标志和岩体与地层接触部位为今后找矿重点区域。  相似文献

The Mesozoic Poços de Caldas alkaline complex, the largest known in South America, is circular-shaped with a mean diameter of about 33 km, and developed during continental break-up and drift. It comprises a suite of alkaline volcanic and plutonic rocks (mainly phonolites and nepheline syenites) with average amounts of U, Th and rare-earth elements (REEs). The evolutionary history began with major early volcanism involving ankaratrites, phonolite lavas and volcanoclastics, followed by caldera subsidence and nepheline syenite intrusions forming minor ring dykes, various intrusive bodies and circular structures. Finally, the addition or concentration of strongly incompatible elements led to the formation of eudialyte nepheline syenites and phonolites.Magmatic evolution included deuteric processes indicating a volatile-rich parent magma of upper mantle origin, without appreciable crustal contamination. These processes extended over a large temperature range and resulted in the formation of pegmatitic veins and comprised mineral assemblages including rare metal silicates such as giannettite, incipient alkali exchange reactions of feldspars, various zeolites, fluorite and hematite. Geochemically, the resulting rocks are enriched in potassium when compared to global nepheline syenites and phonolites. Mobilization and concentration of U, Th and REEs did not apparently occur at this stage.At one place (Morro do Ferro) the intermediate nephelinic suite was affected by a possible carbonatite intrusion and the formation of a stockwork of magnetite veins.Very intensive hydrothermal K- and S-rich alteration, associated with contemporaneous volcanic breccias, occurred locally. These processes led to the formation of several important radioactive and REE-rich anomalies. Two of these, the Th-REE occurrence of Morro do Ferro and the U-Zr-REE-Th occurrence of the Osamu Utsumi uranium mine, comprise the study sites of the Poços de Caldas Analogue Project.Later major stages in the evolution of the Poços de Caldas complex involved the emplacement of mafic-ultramafic dyke rocks and the onset of lateritic and allitic weathering, resulting (at the uranium mine) in supergene geochemical redistribution and the formation of redox fronts sometimes related to uranium enrichments. The end of the magmatic and hydrothermal-mineralizing events is likely fixed by the Ar-Ar dating of a lamprophyre dyke at the uranium mine (76 Ma).This study was focused towards the major rock types of the regional nephelinic suite relative to those experiencing more local hydrothermal and final weathering-related alteration. In the studied intrusive, subvolcanic and volcanic nepheline syenites and phonolites, very little variation was observed. This lack of differentiation may be seen as an argument for a short emplacement history of these rock bodies. Present radiometric age measurements suggest a time span of about 10 Ma for igneous activity at the caldera.  相似文献

古近纪早期,地球上发生了古新世-始新世极热气候(PETM)事件,严重影响全球碳循环过程和海陆生态环境系统.依据普通薄片、元素分析、碳同位素、TOC等实验结果.研究了渤海湾盆地济阳断陷湖盆古新世-始新世时期的湖泊环境时空波动变化及其对PETM事件的响应,发现济阳断陷湖盆早期经历了多旋回的演化过程,湖盆中碎屑物质和化学物质的分异作用同时发生,陆地风化作用和化学沉积物质分异指示了极热气候的变化过程;该时期湖水为逐渐咸化的盐湖环境,具有空间的分带性和时间的阶段演化性,湖水咸化是热气候事件发生的直接响应;湖泊的时空波动演化经历了古新世-始新世时期的极热气候(PETM)事件,该事件早期湖泊尚未完全咸化,浮游生物比较繁盛,早期浮游植物对12CO2的吸收,会导致短暂的湖泊古生产力较高,但是随着湖盆逐渐咸化,生物的活动存活较难,主要以旱生植物为主,古生产力降到最低.由于过量的12C吸收沉淀,造成湖泊沉积记录中的δ13C明显负偏,最大可达5×10-3.由此证实全球PETM事件影响了古新世-始新世之交济阳断陷湖盆的时空演化和物质分异过程.   相似文献

Anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility (AMS) analysis has been carried out in the thermometamorphic aureole surrounding the Late Miocene Monte Capanne pluton (Elba Island, Central Italy). The identification and separation of the main carriers of the magnetic susceptibility by low-temperature and high-field AMS measurements demonstrate that a correct knowledge of the magnetic fabric is needed in order to use AMS for tectonic interpretations. Magnetic fabric data, combined with structural data from the aureole, and their comparison with data from the pluton itself, were used to constraint the mode of pluton emplacement. Results document an intimate linkage between the magmatic flow pattern and the syn-metamorphic fabrics acquired during pluton emplacement in the host rocks. The magnetic/structural fabric in the aureole rocks is dominated by flattening deformation and no systematic relationship with any regional tectonic feature is observed. These results suggest that local processes induced by magma ascent in the upper crust might have played a primary role in space generation for pluton emplacement in the Tuscan Magmatic Province, suggesting a revaluation of the modes of pluton emplacement during the post-orogenic evolution of the northern Apennine system as a whole.  相似文献

Two anorthosite massifs in the Eastern Ghats share similar structural constitutions, internal differentiation histories, and overall thermal-tectonic patterns of evolution. The (1) circular to near-circular structural patterns both inside and close-to-border outside of the plutons; (2) the merging of these structures with the straight to gently flowing, essentially unidirectional structural trend of the granulite basement within short distances from the border of the plutons; (3) the increase of strain intensity near the border of the plutons; (4) the small but recognizable differences in the dip of the anorthosite flow layers; and (5) the foliation of the granulites, all are strong indications that these anorthosites were emplaced as syntectonic diapirs. In both massifs, anorthosite is by far the dominant lithology, noritic varieties being subordinate and generally formed as narrow dike-like bodies and pods, pockets, and irregular patches near the border. The striking features of the whole-rock and mineral chemistries of these massifs are increasing Fe, Ti, Mg, P, and REE, and decreasing Si and Al from the leucoanorthosites to the noritic rocks and wide Mg-Fe variation in the pyroxenes, in contrast to a relatively uniform plagioclase composition. These variations may be the result of initial differentiation in a layered complex serving as a precursor to the anorthosites, through modal sorting, rhythmic layering and cryptic changes, and a subsequent mixing of the modally sorted and cryptically enriched layers at different stages of anorthosite diapirism. Diapiraureole structural relationships, petrology, and thermobarometry suggest a moderately steep, counterclockwise cooling and exhumation path for both massifs to the P-T range: 5 to 6 kbar and 600 to 700°C. Such considerations, supplemented by a conductive cooling model for anorthosite emplacement and its subsequent evolution, lead to a branched path as the essential topology of the P-T-time history of the anorthosite-granulite associations of the Eastern Ghats. An important corollary of this inference is that a cycle of prograde and retrograde metamorphism of the aureole rocks—before and after the anorthosite invasion, respectively—is an essential consequence of the anorthosite emplacement.  相似文献

The Palaeoproterozoic Jiao‐Liao‐Ji Belt is located in the eastern margin of the Eastern Block of the North China Craton. In this paper, we synthesize the tectonothermal evolution and deep crustal processes in the Jiao‐Liao‐Ji Belt based on recent information. A mantle plume‐related underplating from 2.53 to 2.36 Ga is envisaged which led to the emplacement of the 2.47–2.33 Ga alkali granite plutons and mafic dyke swarms, followed by the development of the Jiao‐Liao‐Ji Rift and bi‐modal volcanism. The underplating resulted not only in different sedimentary environments in the upper crust, but also in a differentiation of the initial thermal structure in the rift. This controlled the metamorphism and style of P‐T‐t paths in the different parts of the rift. Subsequent underplating resulted in the emplacement of the A‐type Liaoji granites of ca. 2.17 Ga in the lower crust, and the formation of associated pegmatites of 2.2 and 2.0 Ga, together with the development of a bedding‐parallel extension. However, the main orogeny occurred between 1.93 and 1.88 Ga with closing of the rift, compressional deformation and high‐pressure granulite metamorphism in the southern part of the orogen. Subsequently, lithospheric blocks were possibly delaminated at ∼1.85 Ga; anorogenic magmatic rocks such as rapakivi granite, alkaline granites and syenite were intruded, and pegmatite veins and mafic dyke swarms were emplaced cross‐cutting all the earlier structural traces. We identify that the underplating styles, collision processes and delamination types in the deep lithosphere controlled the tectonothermal evolution of the crust in the Jiao‐Liao‐Ji region. For a long time, granites have been considered as passive bodies ascending under intrinsic negative density and viscosity contrasts with their host rocks. Chemical variations within a granitic body resulted from in situ differentiation and crystal fractionation. Since the mid 1980s, this global view has been significantly modified by (i) shifting melting from water-saturated conditions to fluid-absent reactions, (ii) increasing the role played by the mantle during granite generation, (iii) reassessing the rheology of partially molten rocks, (iv) demonstrating stepwise segregation and ascent of magmas by analogue and numerical models, (v) combining structural, geophysical and geochemical studies to reveal the internal structures in granitic plutons. It results that a granitic body is built up by a discontinuous accumulation of successive magma intrusions. The discontinuous nature of magma emplacement has also significant consequences for its ability to generate ore. The processes that lead to ore deposits are examined, with a brief review of the magmatic and fluid phases that concentrate ore forming elements. Examples are taken from crustal-derived granites and porphyry-type deposits. Those are considered as the two end-members of magmatic and hydrothermal ore deposits. The source characteristics of the magma, the emplacement mechanisms and magma mixing processes are the frame that controls the potential to carry base metals with the magma. The distribution of elements is controlled by diffusion, partition between minerals and melt, solubility and redox conditions. Variations of those parameters are examined by considering their activation energy which controls the exponential dependence with temperature. A characteristic length depending on the activation energy, temperature variation and time is estimated for a characteristic time lag of 30 ka. The intrusion of a magma into a magma chamber of similar composition, hence temperature, has few effects on diffusion, partition coefficient and redox conditions, because of a too low temperature contrast. The intrusion of a mafic magma into a felsic one induces a variation of 300 °C in both magmas. The characteristic length of diffusion may vary by up to two orders of magnitude, whereas the variation of partition coefficients is only one order of magnitude. The redox conditions are about 2.5 log unit in the mafic magma, but they can vary by 7 log units in the felsic magma. Hence, a strong decrease in δD values is observed in porphyry-type deposits. The effect is a removal of the elements with higher activation energy (W, Sn, Zr) from the mafic to the felsic magma. Deformation during the late stages of emplacement also controls ore formation.  相似文献

本文通过对西天山地区比较典型的达巴特斑岩铜钼矿床矿区范围内出露上的英安岩和花岗斑岩进行了系统的岩石地球化学分析,对英安岩和流纹斑岩中的锆石进行了SHRIMP U-Pb定年研究,分别获得了315.9±5.9Ma和278.7±5.7Ma。岩石化学、微量以及稀土元素特征表明从英安岩到花岗斑岩,岩体具有明显的分异演化特征和很好的继承性。火山岩和次火山岩的精确定年为准确厘定火山岩形成的时限和地球动力学背景提供了依据。结合已有的Re-Os法获得的矿化年龄,表明晚石炭世末-早二叠世初(278.7±5.7Ma),西天山地区进入板块碰撞-板内伸展阶段,由于板内幔根的部分熔化,造成深源斑岩岩浆侵位,在达巴特矿区形成了由花岗斑岩、流纹斑岩和流纹质凝灰熔岩组成的椭圆形火山机构,并导致相关矿床的形成。  相似文献

通过总结多年来对夕卡岩型和斑岩型矿床的研究所获得的成果,作者认识到挥发相在这些矿床形成过程中的重要地位和意义。文章系统讨论了在花岗质岩浆中挥发相的形成和时空演化、挥发相的组成及其与硅酸盐熔融体的不相溶性,提供了挥发相在夕卡岩型和斑岩型矿床中存在的证据,提出挥发相对花岗质岩体顶部和邻近围岩的微细裂隙、爆破角砾岩、夕卡岩、碱质硅酸盐交代岩和富含挥发份矿物的形成,以及在矿质的迁移富集等各个过程中都具有十分重要的意义。  相似文献
