Nine new rock reference samples of the "Sedimentary rock series", Chert JCh-1, Dolomite JDo-1, Lake sediment JLk-1, Limestone JLs-1, Stream sediments JSd-1 to JSd-3, and Slates JS1-1 and JSl-2 have been prepared by the Geological Survey of Japan(GSJ). Thirty major, minor and trace elements were determined using atomic absorption spectrometry, flame emission spectrometry, infrared absorption spectrometry and wet chemical techniques. The results of homogeneity tests showed that almost all elements, with a few exceptions, are considered to be distributed homogeneously in each reference sample.  相似文献

Improved determinations of uranium and thorium by fission track and moderating neutron techniques are presented for the rock reference samples of the Geological Survey of Japan (GSJ) "Igneous rock series 1986". The non-homogenous distribution of uranium and thorium has been detected in the samples JF-1, JG-2 and JG-1a caused by the presence of highly radioactive accessory minerals.  相似文献

Summary Shore hardness has been used to estimate some mechanical and physical properties of rocks for many years. This study differs from previous studies in a way that it is directly oriented to rock cuttability. Two Shore hardness values (SH 1 andSH 2) and a coefficient of deformation value (K) have been measured for 30 different rock samples. In the first stage of the study, optimum specific energy values for 16 different rock samples obtained from full-scale cutting tests were correlated with the Shore hardness values of the same rock samples changingSH 1 values from 9 to 66 andSH 2 values from 25 to 83, with deformation coefficient values changing from 26 to 195. In the second stage, the performance of a roadheader used in the Kü?üksu (Istanbul) tunnel was recorded in detail and the instantaneous cutting rate of the machine was determined. Then, the relationship between Shore hardness values, deformation coefficient and the instantaneous cutting rate of the machine was determined for different formations encountered. It is concluded that there is a relationship between Shore hardness values, optimum specific energy and compressive strength, which may be used to estimate the rock cuttability and the instantaneous cutting rates of roadheaders within certain limits of reliability.  相似文献

Nine rock reference samples "Sedimentary rock series" issued by the Geological Survey of Japan (GSJ) were analysed for up to 31 elements by neutron activation analysis (NAA); 14MeV-NAA for Si and Al, fission track method for U, radiochemical and instrumental NAA for rare-earth elements, and instrumental NAA for the remaining elements, with reactor neutrons for the latter three. Summary. Uniaxial Compressive Strength (UCS), considered to be one of the most useful rock properties for mining and civil engineering applications, has been estimated from some index test results by fuzzy and multiple regression modelling. Laboratory investigations including Uniaxial Compressive Strength (UCS), Point Load Index test (PL), Schmidt Hammer Hardness test (SHR) and Sonic velocity (Vp) test have been carried out on nine different rock types yielding to 305 tested specimens in total. Average values along with the standard deviations (Stdev) as well as Coefficients of variation (CoV) have been calculated for each rock type. Having constructed the Mamdani Fuzzy algorithm, UCS of intact rock samples was then predicted using a data driven fuzzy model. The predicted values derived from fuzzy model were compared with multi-linear statistical model. Comparison proved that the best model predictions have been achieved by fuzzy modelling in contrast to multi-linear statistical modelling. As a result, the developed fuzzy model based on point load, Schmidt hammer and sonic velocity can be used as a tool to predict UCS of intact rocks.  相似文献

为探讨下扬子地区下寒武统幕府山组底部富有机质黑色岩系的物源属性及源区构造背景特征,在南京幕府山剖面幕府山组底部系统的采集样品,并对其进行地球化学测试与分析。Th/Sc?Zr/Sc图解表明幕府山组黑色岩系未曾经历沉积再循环;通过分析主量元素比值特征、稀土元素(REE)配分模式、δEu、(La/Yb)N及La/Th?Hf和La/Yb?∑REE判别图解,认为幕府山组黑色岩系源岩主要是花岗岩和富含长英质矿物的沉积岩等上地壳长英质岩石,存在基性岩的混入。从物源属性、地质年代关系、华南大陆构造演化历程等多方面考虑,源岩中花岗岩成分主要为新元古时期岩浆活动形成的岩浆岩,物源区为江南古陆(江南造山带)。通过分析K2O+Na2O?SiO2、K2O/Na2O?SiO2/Al2O3、La?Th?Sc、Th?Co?Zr/10和Th?Sc?Zr/10图解,认为幕府山组黑色岩系源区构造背景为被动大陆边缘。  相似文献

牛鼻子梁岩体位于柴达木地块的北缘,出露面积约8 km2,平面形态呈长条状,主要由斜长二辉橄榄岩、斜长单辉橄榄岩、角闪二辉橄榄岩、角闪橄榄岩、角闪橄榄二辉岩、黑云母化二辉岩、角闪辉石岩、橄榄辉石角闪石岩、角闪橄榄辉长岩、细粒辉长岩、似斑状辉长岩、暗色辉长岩、辉长岩、淡色辉长岩、石英闪长岩和英云闪长岩组成。文章通过岩石学、矿物学、地球化学研究,得到锆石U-Pb年龄为(361.5±1.2) Ma,Sm-Nd等时线年龄为(347±26) Ma。研究认为,牛鼻子梁基性-超基性岩体含矿岩石产于大陆边缘环境。岩体形成于泥盆纪晚期。岩浆分异充分,岩石类型丰富,岩浆演化过程中主要发生了橄榄石和斜长石的分离结晶/堆晶作用。岩体的母岩浆应属于拉斑玄武岩质岩浆。从目前发现的矿化情况来看,牛鼻子梁基性-超基性杂岩体为含矿岩体,有很好的找矿前景。  相似文献

吉林通化地区光华岩群出露于太古宙TTG片麻岩之中,其形成时代一直存在争议.利用SHRIMP与LA-ICPMS技术,对其代表性岩石样品开展了锆石U-Pb定年分析,包括石榴黑云片岩、黑云二长片麻岩、石榴角闪片岩和侵入光华岩群底部的钾长花岗岩.结果显示,光华岩群4件变质岩石样品尽管位置不同,但碎屑锆石年龄非常接近,207Pb/206Pb谐和年龄集中在2.6~2.5 Ga之间,加权平均值分别为2 529±7 Ma、2 568±4 Ma、2 526±11 Ma和2 530±6 Ma,表明其成岩物质来源于新太古代地体.部分变质岩石记录了2 525±10 Ma、1 926±40 Ma和1 878±16 Ma的变质锆石年龄,表明其既经历了太古代末期的构造热事件改造,又遭受了古元古代晚期碰撞造山事件的扰动.确定侵入光华岩群底部的钾长花岗岩的侵位年龄为2 154±7 Ma,岩石未遭受变形改造,其成因可能与陆内裂谷发育过程有关.   相似文献

The results of geotechnical explorations, engineering geological investigation (including laboratory and in situ tests) and field observations have been used, along with borehole logging charts, to obtain the rock mass geotechnical data. Based on the data, the rock mass along the Sabzkuh water conveyance tunnel route was classified by rock mass rating (RMR), Q-system (Q), rock mass index (RMi) and geological strength index (GSI) (3 methods). A new series of correlations were established between the systems based on the data collected from the study area. These relationships were then compared with those reported in the literature, and two new relations were recommended. The classifications were utilized to calculate mechanical properties (rock mass strength and deformation modulus) of the rock mass along the tunnel according to available empirical relations, and to distinguish the upper-bound and lower-bound relations.  相似文献

In a processing plant, natural stone can be cut by methods such as circular sawing (CS), frame sawing (FS), water jet cutting (WJC) and abrasive water jet cutting (AWJC). The efficiency of cutting systems can be compared using various parameters. In this study, the specific energy values were determined and compared to evaluate the efficiency of rock-cutting methods. Rock-cutting experiments were performed on 12 different types of rock samples using a circular sawing machine and an AWJC machine. The experimental results showed that the specific energy values in AWJC were generally higher than in CS. In addition, the relationships between specific energy values and rock properties were explained in this study. The Shore hardness and abrasion resistance were found to be strongly related to the specific energy values, and according to these parameters prediction charts of specific energy values were created.  相似文献

Rock mass classification systems such as rock mass rating (RMR) are very reliable means to provide information about the quality of rocks surrounding a structure as well as to propose suitable support systems for unstable regions. Many correlations have been proposed to relate measured quantities such as wave velocity to rock mass classification systems to limit the associated time and cost of conducting the sampling and mechanical tests conventionally used to calculate RMR values. However, these empirical correlations have been found to be unreliable, as they usually overestimate or underestimate the RMR value. The aim of this paper is to compare the results of RMR classification obtained from the use of empirical correlations versus machine-learning methodologies based on artificial intelligence algorithms. The proposed methods were verified based on two case studies located in northern Iran. Relevance vector regression (RVR) and support vector regression (SVR), as two robust machine-learning methodologies, were used to predict the RMR for tunnel host rocks. RMR values already obtained by sampling and site investigation at one tunnel were taken into account as the output of the artificial networks during training and testing phases. The results reveal that use of empirical correlations overestimates the predicted RMR values. RVR and SVR, however, showed more reliable results, and are therefore suggested for use in RMR classification for design purposes of rock structures.  相似文献

Summary Evaluation of the effects of small repetitive earthquakes on the strength parameters of rock joints in active seismic zones is of interest of the designers of underground constructions. In order to evaluate these effects, it is necessary to study the behaviour of rock joints under dynamic and cyclic loadings. This paper presents the results of a systematic study on the behaviour of artificial rock joints subjected to cyclic shearing. More than 30 identical replicas have been tested using triaxial compression devices under different conditions of monotonic and cyclic loading. At the first stage a few samples have been tested in monotonic loading modes under various confining pressures and rate of displacement. In the second series of tests, small cyclic loads were applied on the samples for increasing number of cycles, frequency levels and stress amplitudes. These were then followed by monotonic loading again. The variations of maximum and residual shear strengths for each test have been studied. The results show increase of shear strength as a result of the increase in confining pressure and they display decrease of shear strength due to the increase of rate of loading, number of cycles, frequency levels and stress amplitudes.  相似文献

本文针对结构面间距最常见的两种分布形式--负指数分布和对数正态分布,探讨了岩石质量指标(RQD)的Monte-Carlo模拟方法,首和无根据结构面间距分布密度函数产和一包含50万个随机结构面并按生成顺序排列的模拟真实岩体的总测线,然后为了和实际 钻探时以2米测线计算RQD相一致,在总测线上按均匀分布形式随机抽取大于等于2米的局部测线共5万个计算RQD单值,并进一步统计得出所有RQD的平均值,RQD累积分布曲及岩石质量描述图,对于自然界大部分岩体,可根据结构面间距统计参数,直接在本文得出的一系列岩石质量图上定出RQD平均值,岩石质量百分比(RQP)及岩石质量风险(RQR)。  相似文献

建立了有微波密封HF+HNO3消解样品,等离子体质谱测定岩石样品中15个稀土元素的分方法。用该方法对国内外岩石标准品进行测定,结果表明稀土元素的测定值与标准值之间的相对偏差小于5%,检出限为(0.1-0.9)*10^-9,多次测定结果的相对标准偏差在1.3%-5.2%。各类实际岩石样品中稀土元素的分析结果均与地质规律相符,进一步证明了方法的可靠性。  相似文献

含煤岩系变形规律的研究,对煤炭资源评价和开采、煤矿瓦斯灾害预测、煤层气的可开发性评价具有指导意义。基于含煤岩系的岩体结构是控制其变形的基础因素这一前提,以岩体力学和分形几何学基本理论为指导,提出取决于岩石杨氏模量和泊松比的岩体强度因子和取决于岩层厚度的分形维数两个参数,以断层发育的安阳双全井田、褶皱发育的沁水盆地煤层气开发区及滑动构造发育的荥巩谷山井田为例,系统探讨了岩体结构对含煤岩系变形的控制作用。研究表明,低强度因子和厚层岩层较多的分形维数低值区,含煤岩系以韧性变形为主,多形成褶皱,煤体变形程度深,为瓦斯灾害严重区和煤层气难以开发区;高强度因子和厚层岩层较少的分形维数高值区,含煤岩系以脆性变形为主,多发育断层,构造煤难以区域展布,只分布在断层附近。可见含煤岩系变形不仅与岩体强度有关,而且受岩层厚度的控制。统计层段内刚性岩层的存在增加了岩体强度,岩层复杂程度的增加同样提高了岩体强度。岩体力学和分形几何学的引入,为煤岩体变形行为和程度的描述和预测提供了一种新途径。  相似文献
