This paper first establishes the prior globe dynamical model by geophysics,which is a solid earth elastic deformation model.Then,the parameters of the globe dynamic model can be obtained by inverting the geodetic data.The inverse method can be used in seismology and geology,and to make earthquake prediction.  相似文献

Part of a cuboctahedron-based geodesic map projection by Buckminster Fuller is expanded to spherical quadrilaterals with opposite sides equal. Points on such a quadrilateral can be described by intersections of geodesics, which provide parameterized coordinate values in a Geodesic Coordinate System. Through a linear transform of the geodesic coordinates, a spherical quadrilateral maps to a parallelogram. The resulting map has the same constant scale on all four sides. Within the map, all lines parallel to the sides correspond to geodesics on the globe. Spherical rectangles, spherical squares, and diamonds (spherical rhombi) are specifically examined; various tiling sets of diamonds can be used to cover the globe. Non-projection applications in geometry, astronomy, and computer graphics are described.  相似文献

Virtual globes enable the combination of heterogeneous datasets for optimal routing analyses in transportation, environmental ecology, and construction engineering. In this study, considering the advantages of the hierarchical tiling structure and topography of virtual globes, we propose a tile‐based optimal routing method for large‐scale road networks in a virtual globe. This method designs a topographically preserved road‐network tile model by partitioning roads into tiles and constructs the road‐network pyramid from the bottom to the top. During construction, a TileArc is calculated and flagged as the shortest path in a tile. Based on the built road‐network pyramid carrying hierarchical TileArcs, a multi‐level and flexible shortest path query can be executed efficiently. The proposed method is implemented with large road networks with different road grades in a virtual globe. Experimental results verify its validity, efficiency, and exactness. Moreover, the length of the shortest path with surface distance is approximately 1.3 times longer than that with Euclidean distance.  相似文献

We address the registration problem of multisource three-dimensional (3D) human-made buildings with remote sensing images and the earth's surface in the context of virtual globes. Challenges include fast transformation of 3D coordinates with different reference systems as well as the efficient use of original model information for rigorous and accurate model registration. This paper introduces a novel fast and scalable registration approach that can establish correspondences between heterogeneous external 3D city models and images/terrain surfaces of virtual globes in an efficient and accurate manner. The approach utilizes the projected 3D feature information of 3D city models to develop robust coordinate transformation and reliable model registration methods. The proposed approach builds a solid foundation for the fusion of multisource geospatial data in a united virtual globe reference framework. We report experimental results of online registration tasks for up to over 13K buildings in an integrated 3D virtual globe platform, namely, GeoGlobe.  相似文献

Abstract

The starting point of this paper is the idea that a comprehensive understanding of the earth and its systems calls for consideration of bygone views of the world. Creating facsimiles of antique globes in the form of digital globes provides a new opportunity to make such bygone world views accessible to a wide scientific audience. However, up to now, little practical experience in applying digital technology on globes has been made. Considering these attempts by thorough synopsis, this article deduces a comprehensive approach on virtual representations of antique globes that can be described by the superordinate concept of virtual representation. This concept comprises facilities of data acquisition of the original globe, ways of visualising the digitised globe and its final cartographic preparation. Applications that arise from this procedure are exemplified through both virtual hyperglobes and tactile hyperglobes. New findings on a 16th century earth globe are encouraging results of the presented virtual representation approach, which may offer a sustainable visualisation platform of interdisciplinary research.  相似文献

提出了一种面向虚拟地球的海陆地形多尺度不规则三角网(triangulated irregular network,TIN)建模及球面快速可视化方法。利用贪心插入TIN表面简化算法构建海陆地形的离线TIN金字塔,并设计了一种高效的虚拟节点结构,对各级TIN构网实施无缝分割和分层分块存储。在利用离线TIN地形金字塔实现多尺度海陆TIN地形的快速检索和三维场景生成的基础上,通过一种接边关系编解码方案实时消除TIN地形渲染时的裂缝,最终实现多尺度海陆TIN地形场景的高效可视化。实验结果表明,该方法能显著减少海面渲染所需的面片数,并实现岛礁、海岸等破碎地形的高保真度表达,有效改善了传统虚拟地球系统采用规则格网(Gird)模式绘制海陆地形导致大量几何冗余和表达失真等缺陷。  相似文献

参数敏感性分析SA(Sensitivity Analysis)是遥感、生态和水文模型不确定性分析UA(Uncertainty Analysis)的重要方法之一。本文梳理了遥感散射/辐射模型,以及遥感驱动的生态、水文模型研究中常用的敏感性分析方法,并总结了各类方法的优缺点和适用条件。从识别关键参数、不确定性分析和参数优化3个方面,分析了这些领域中参数敏感性分析研究的进展和存在问题,并介绍了最常用的敏感性分析平台。参数敏感性分析作为模型参数优化的先验知识之一,促进了模型和参数的优化。在不确定性和敏感性矩阵USM(Uncertainty and Sensitivity Matrix)的框架下,结合全局敏感性分析方法开展多阶段遥感反演、参数敏感性的尺度效应、参数敏感性的时空异质性研究更加需要关注。此外,还需要提高敏感性分析的计算效率和模式,来适应未来更加复杂的模型和迅速增长的数据量。  相似文献

Abstract

For years, stereoscopy has been related to photogrammetry in topography. However, these methods are not efficient for virtual globes because the effect is only visible from one view point and this restricts interactivity. By using synthetic image techniques in order to generate stereo-paired images, we can produce visible effects from any view point. In this paper, we present a comparative study of stereoscopic techniques in virtual globes supported by a test carried out among 51 participants. Three devices were used: anaglyphs, an autostereoscopic screen and a quadbuffer system. The aim was to determine which one of the three devices causes a deeper feeling of immersion and which one can be more efficient in a virtual globe. Results show considerable differences between the quadbuffer system and the other devices. The mentioned system causes in the user a stronger feeling of depth and immersion in the virtual globe.  相似文献

现有的虚拟地球中的海面可视化方法主要采用投影网格的方式组织海面格网,这种特殊的网格组织方式,导致其在反映不同海域差异性特征时存在缺陷。基于全球离散格网的海面可视化方法由于能够与虚拟地球离散的空间剖分相匹配,有效弥补了投影网格法的缺陷,因此更符合虚拟地球海面仿真应用的需要。然而现有的离散格网法存在绘制效率差、场景加载慢、需要修补格网缝隙等问题,限制了其应用发展。对此,本文在现有离散格网法基础上进行优化:首先,在数据结构上对传统等经纬度离散格网进行扩展,设计了一种面向GPU绘制的多尺度海面网格模型来组织管理海面格网;其次,为了实现风场驱动下的海浪动态绘制,在多尺度海面网格模型的基础上提出了一种支持实时风场更新的海浪动态绘制方法;同时,考虑到格网缝隙修补对系统效率的影响,本文针对海面格网特点并结合GPU技术提出了一种高效的海面格网缝隙修补方法。最后通过对比试验验证了本文方法的可行性和有效性。试验结果表明,本文方法绘制效率稳定,加载速度快,且能弥补现有方法在功能上的缺失,因此应用范围更加广泛。  相似文献

3D city models, which are important items of content on the virtual globe, are characterized by complicated structures and large amounts of data. These factors make the visualization of 3D city models highly dependent upon the performance of computer hardware. Thus, achieving the efficient rendering of 3D city models using different hardware performance levels represents one of the key problems currently facing researchers. This paper proposes a time-critical adaptive visualization method that first estimates the possible rendering time for each model according to the data structure of the model in addition to the CPU/GPU performance of the computer. It then dynamically adjusts the rendering level for each model based on the results of an estimation of the rendering time to ensure that the final scene can be completed within a given time. To verify the effectiveness and flexibility of this method, it is applied using different computers. The results show that the adaptive visualization method presented in this paper not only can adapt to computers with different levels of performances but also demonstrates an obvious improvement in the time estimation precision, visual effects, and optimization speed relative to existing adaptive visualization methods.  相似文献

There are several issues with Web-based search interfaces on a Sensor Web data infrastructure. It can be difficult to (1) find the proper keywords for the formulation of queries and (2) explore the information if the user does not have previous knowledge about the particular sensor systems providing the information. We investigate how the visualization of sensor resources on a 3D Web-based Digital Earth globe organized by level-of-detail (LOD) can enhance search and exploration of information by easing the formulation of geospatial queries against the metadata of sensor systems. Our case study provides an approach inspired by geographical mashups in which freely available functionality and data are flexibly combined. We use PostgreSQL, PostGIS, PHP, and X3D-Earth technologies to allow the Web3D standard and its geospatial component to be used for visual exploration and LOD control of a dynamic scene. Our goal is to facilitate the dynamic exploration of the Sensor Web and to allow the user to seamlessly focus in on a particular sensor system from a set of registered sensor networks deployed across the globe. We present a prototype metadata exploration system featuring LOD for a multiscaled Sensor Web as a Digital Earth application.  相似文献

从滞弹性阻尼形变摄动造成CW频率调制假设出发,对CW的共振激发模型加上参数的时变调制,变成了参数共振模型。经正演计算发现,参数共振模型完全符合CW的实际,表明滞弹性阻尼形变摄动造成频率的3%调制,进一步使得CW振幅调制可达70%以上。这一参数共振模型是一个非线性动力系统,在非线性情况下,运动将发生分岔,即多解。  相似文献

The Lagrange projection represents conformally the terrestrial globe within a circle. This is achieved by compressing the latitude and longitude and by applying the new coordinates into the equatorial stereographic projection. The same concept can be generalized to any conformal projection, although the application of this technique to other analytical functions is less known. In this work, the general Lambert–Lagrange projection formula is proposed and the application of the modified coordinates is discussed on projections: stereographic, conformal conic and Gauss–Schreiber. In general, the results are merely a curiosity, except for the case of Gauss–Schreiber, where the use of coordinates with altered scale can be applied in the optimization of conformal projections.  相似文献

CHAMP卫星加速度计数据的标定是通过确定其尺度因子和偏差参数来完成的.本文基于能量守恒方程,给出利用现有重力场模型标定CHAMP卫星加速度数据的基本原理和数学模型;提出相邻历元间差分算法,大大简化了观测方程,同时避免积分常量的计算.该算法既能同时解算尺度因子和偏差参数,也可任意求解其中之一.基于实测的CHAMP卫星加速度数据,利用EGM96模型和最新公布的EIGEN-2模型进行计算与比较,验证该方法的有效性.  相似文献

此文是作者继前几年发表《清代测绘科技的辉煌及其历史遗憾》一文的续文。此文回顾了自秦代至元代我国地图测绘的主要成就,特别是我国领先于世界的地图成果,这包括秦代大型地形模型图,东晋裴秀的"制图六体",宋代的石刻《禹迹图》和地形模型图,元代朱思本的画方地图《舆地图》和札马鲁丁的世界第一个地球仪等。可以说自秦至元我国的地图测绘技术始终处于世界前列。  相似文献
