The problem of the geochemical classification of granitoid magmatism in the zone of interaction of oceanic and continental plates is considered in this paper by the example of Mesozoic granitoids of the Krutogorova and Kol’ intrusive complexes of the Sredinny Range, Kamchatka. Based on new geological, petrological, and geochemical data (including the Sr, Nd, and Pb isotope systematics of rocks), it was shown that the protoliths of the granitoids were volcanic-terrigenous sequences accumulated within a Cretaceous marginal basin in the eastern Asian continent. The granitoids crystallized at ~80 Ma (SHRIMP U-Pb age) under the conditions of the andalusite-sillimanite depth facies corresponding to a pressure of approximately 2 kbar and induced contact metamorphism in the host sequences, which are made up of sediments with sheetlike bodies of mafic and ultramafic volcanics (Kikhchik Group and its metamorphic analogues of the Kolpakova, Kamchatka, and Malki groups). The lower age boundary of sedimentation of the host sequences and the time of basic volcanism coincide with the beginning of the formation of the Okhotsk-Chukotka volcanic belt. Such a correlation is not accidental and reflects a genetic connection between the processes of magmatic activation in the continental-margin sedimentary basin and the formation of the continental margin volcanic belt in eastern Asia. The development of basic volcanism in the sedimentary basin accompanied by the ascent of deep fluids resulted in the entrainment of crustal materials into magmatic processes and the formation of crustal magma chambers, the activity of which was manifested by the eruption of intermediate and silicic lavas and emplacement of shallow granitoid intrusions of considerable areal extent. These intrusions induced contact metamorphism in the enclosing volcanosedimentary complexes. The subsequent Eocene (60-50 Ma) collision processes related to the obduction of the oceanic segment of the crust of the transitional zone onto the Asian continental margin resulted in the tectonic piling of the rocks of Central Kamchatka and strong crustal thickening, which was favorable for its metamorphic alteration reaching the kyanite-sillimanite depth level of the amphibolite facies under the influence of a thermal front and deep fluids affecting lower crustal zones. The Eocene regional metamorphism caused not only metamorphic transformations, migmatization, and granitization in the sequences of the Sredinny Range, which underwent only contact hornfels formation during the first stage, but also metamorphism, migmatization, and extensive foliation in the igneous rocks of the Kol’ and Krutogorova complexes, which were transformed into gneissic metagranites.  相似文献

This study investigated meteorological, physical, and chemical characteristics of 2 severe Hwangsa (Asian dust, maximum average of PM10 above 1000 μg m?3) observed in Seoul, the capital city of Korea, during 30~31st May, 2008 (DSS2008) and 25~26th December, 2009 (DSS2009). DSS2008 and DSS2009 had a same source region and route. However, they have different meteorological conditions. DSS2009 had a shorter travel time from the source region to Korea and shorter duration time in Korea than DSS2008 due to a strong winter Siberian anticyclone. One of DSS2008 sample was affected by not only Asian dust but also a long-range transported haze due to consecutive influx after low pressure passed while DSS2009 sample collected only dust aerosol. For both cases, the mass concentration of coarse particles (PM10-1) increased by 3~14 times compared to that during non Asian dust period, however, that of fine particles (PM1) increased only in DSS2008. For DSS2008 water-soluble ion balance between anions and cations in fine mode was close to 1:1 while cations were higher than anions in coarse mode. NH4 + and Ca2+ were found to be the main contributing factors for the neutralization. Cl? loss was observed about 60% indicating an active interaction of Na+ with pollutants. Reconstruction of chemical compositions showed relatively high concentrations of secondary pollutants (NH4NO3 and (NH4)2SO4), CaCO3, and Ca(NO3)2 compared to that during non Asian dust period. DSS2009 exhibited the typical characteristics of Asian dust having a high concentration of Ca2+ with higher equivalent concentration of cations than anions in all size bins. Cl? loss was hardly observed. The secondary pollutants were lower than that of non Asian dust cases. The result of reconstruction of ionic components indicated the CaCO3 derived from soil particle, CaSO4, and Ca (NO3)2 were dominant in DSS2009.  相似文献

Consumption of primary energy in Korea increased 5.25 % per year over a 10 years span starting in 1990. Korea ranked 8th in primary energy consumption in 2011; coal consumption increased 35 % from 87,827 million tons in 2006–119,321 tons in 2010. Heavy energy-consuming countries consistently conduct research to develop an emission factor of Tier 2 level, reflecting the characteristics of the fuel that they use. To calculate the emission factor of bituminous coal for fuel, this study developed emission factor and calculated emission amount by implementing fuel analysis on bituminous coal consumed in Korea between 2007 and 2009. CO2 emission factor calculated by fuel analysis method is 95,315 kg/TJ, which is 0.75 % higher than the default value suggested by IPCC. The emission amount calculated by using the CO2 emission factor in this study is 231.881 million tons, which has a difference of 1.739 million tons compared to the IPCC default value.  相似文献

The concentrations of trace elements in groundwater and seawater were measured in a coastal embayment (Bangdu Bay) of a volcanic island (Jeju) off the southernmost coast of Korea in August and December of 2009. The concentrations of trace elements (Al, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, and Cu) in the groundwater in summer were approximately 20-fold higher than those in winter, with good correlation to each other. Overall, the concentrations of most of the trace elements in the groundwater were 3- to 70-fold higher than those in the seawater of this Bay. Simple budget calculations showed that large fluxes of submarine groundwater discharge (SGD)-driven trace elements were responsible for the unusually enhanced concentrations of trace elements (particularly for Al, Fe and Co) in the summer seawater. The results imply that the temporal changes in SGD-driven trace element fluxes are large and may contribute considerably to the budget of trace elements in the coastal ocean, particularly off a highly permeable volcanic island.  相似文献

The essence of real time hybrid simulation (RTHS) is the reliance on a physical test (virtual finite element) in support of a numerical simulation, which is unable to properly simulate it numerically. Hence, the computational support for a hybrid simulation is of paramount importance, and one with anything less than a state of the art computational support may defeat the purpose of such an endeavor. A critical, yet often ignored, component of RTHS is precisely the computational engine, which unfortunately has been a bottleneck for realistic studies. Most researches have focused on either the control or on the communication (mostly in distributed, non‐real time hybrid simulation) leaving the third leg of RTHS (computation) ignored and limited to the simulation of simple models (small number of degrees of freedom and limited nonlinearities). This paper details the development of a specialized software written explicitly to perform, single site, hybrid simulation ranging from pseudo‐dynamic to hard real time ones. We report some of the results of the search for narrow-band spatial and spectral fluctuations of cosmic microwave background at the wavelength of 6.2 cmperformed with the RATAN-600 radio telescope in 2001–2006 in two 35′ × 7′ strips on the sky in the vicinity of the North Celestial Pole. We find the spectra of spatial fluctuations in the 12 MHz radio-frequency band and in the interval of spatial periods from 4′ to 16′ to exhibit power-law rises with exponents reaching ?2.0±0.5, with a periodicity of 2–3 MHz. We also find two narrow-band (in terms of angular frequency) features at 4870.4 and 4871.5 MHz with the corresponding fluctuation amplitudes of 5±0.5 mK in terms of antenna temperature in the vicinity of angular periods of about 5′ with the frequency bandwidths of about 600 kHz. Standard tests performed using the spectra of the half-sum and half-difference of two groups of observations randomly drawn from a total sample of 23 records of the March 2002 observing set confirm the reality of the features of the angular spectrumof fluctuations mentioned above and so does the comparison with the spectra of cold matched load connected to the receiver input instead of the antenna. However, the nature of the features found remains unclear. Our attempt to link this radiation to rotational transitions 2Π1/2, J = 5/2 of the CH molecule, which has one of the components of its multiplet located inside the frequency interval of interest considered failed.  相似文献

The chemical and biological characteristics of surface waters in Jinhae Bay were investigated over four seasons to understand water quality in light of the growing industrialisation occurring within this area. Jinhae Bay includes four smaller bays: Masan; Hangam; Jindong; and Gohyun. The water quality in Jinhae Bay varied spatially and seasonally. The water quality of both Hangam Bay and Masan Bay was highly degraded, demonstrating high concentrations of ammonia, nitrate, chlorophyll a and particulate organic carbon. Contamination from sewage was the dominant cause of the water quality deterioration in these bays. Conversely, the water quality in Jindong Bay and Gohyun Bay was not as severely affected as that of the above two bays. Water quality in Jinhae Bay was particularly poor in summer when nutrient loading was highest due to the run-off associated with high precipitation. Principal component analysis indicated that nitrogen contamination was a major factor influencing the water quality of Jinhae Bay. The effective reduction in high-nitrogen discharges is essential to improve water quality in Jinghae Bay.  相似文献
