Riassunto L'A. riferisce su alcune determinazioni di laboratorio da lui eseguite per dedurre lo spessore di strati di ghiaccio mediante onde elastiche d'impulso. L'applicazione è stata sperimentata anche sul legno. Si è ottenuta un' approssimazione superiore al 2%. Dalla discussione dei risultati si desume l'applicabilità del metodo a masse di ghiaccio di piccolo o modesto spessore nelle condizioni naturali.
Zusammenfassung Der Verf. berichtet über einigen Experimente in Laboratorium welche den Zweck hatten die Dicke von Eis-Platten durch Verwendung von elastischen Wellen abzuleiten. Das Verfahren wurde auch auf Holz geprüft. Es hat sich ergeben, dass die Verwendbarkeit der Methode eine Annäherung von mehr als 2% gestattet. Aus der Diskussion der Ergebnisse lässt sich zeigen, dass die Anwendung des Verfahrens auch auf natürlichen Eismassen kleiner Dicke übertragen werde kann.相似文献

Summary After some remarks on the sands and the ashes projected by the Etna in the explosive period of March the 16th, 1940, and carried by the wind as far as Calabria, the physical characters of the material fallen and particulary the granulometrical ones are exposed in relation to the distance of carriage, making some comparisons with the ashes fallen on the Isle of Stromboli in the occasion of the explosions of this volcano in Dec. the 14th, 1937, and in May, the 22th, 1938.
Zusammenfassung Der Sand und die Aschen geworfen durch die Explosion der Etna am 16. 3. 1940 und die bis Kalabrien durch den Wind transportiert wurden, sind vom Verf. physikalisch untersucht worden und zwar besonders nach der Verteilung der Korngrösse im Verhältnis mit den Transport-Distanzen. Die Mitteilung der Ergebnisse geschieht mit Vergleichung derjenigen die sich auf die Aschen vom Stromboli beziehen, welche von diesem Vulkan am 1937 und 1938 geworfen worden sind.相似文献

Summary To the series of yearly values of rainfall happened in Mantua from 1841 to 1941 has been applied the periodal analysis after the method of Vercelli. From this are derived compounded waves almost periodical and almost persistent of 34, 21, 16.5, 11.4, 8, 5.6, 4.2, 3, 2 years. The waves found by these means are compared with the corresponding ones of Triest and Padua.
Zusammenfassung An Hand der jährlichen Werte der Niederschläge, welche in Mantua von 1841 bis 1941 gefallen sind, wird die Vercelli Periodal-Analyse angewendet. Man erhält fast-periodische und fast-beständige Komponentewellen, die Perioden von 34, 21, 16.5, 11.4, 8, 5.6, 4.4, 3, 2 Jahre haben. In central Wisconsin, Cambrian strata of the Elk Mound Group record deposition on open‐coast, wave‐dominated tidal flats. Mature, medium‐grained quartz arenite is dominated by parallel‐bedding with upper‐flow regime parallel‐lamination, deposited during high‐energy storms that also produced three‐dimensional bedforms on the flats. Abundant wave ripples were produced as storms waned or during fair weather, in water depths ≤2 m. Indicators of variably shallow water (washout structures and stranded cnidarian medusae) and subaerial exposure (adhesion marks, rain‐drop impressions and desiccation cracks, including cracked medusae) are abundant. Parallel‐bedded facies preserve a Cruziana ichnofacies, similar to other Cambrian tidal‐flat deposits. Flats were dissected by small, mainly straight channels, the floors of which were grazed intensely by molluscs. Most channels were ephemeral but some developed low levées, point bars and cut‐banks, probably reflecting stabilization by abundant microbial mats and biofilms. Channels were filled with trough cross‐bedding that is interpreted to have been produced mainly during storm runoff. The strata resemble deposits of open‐coast, wave‐dominated tidal flats on the east coast of India and west coast of Korea. Ancient wave‐dominated and open‐coast tidal flats documented to date appear to have been limited to mud‐rich strata with ‘classic’ tidal indicators such as flaser bedding and tidal bundles. The Cambrian (Miaolingian to early Furongian) Elk Mound Group demonstrates that sandy, wave‐dominated tidal flats also can be recognized in the stratigraphic record. 相似文献

Riassunto L'A., richiamate alcune notizie sull'importante rilevamento geomagnetico eseguito nel quinquennio 1932–37 in Italia dall'Istituto Geografico Militare, tratta di quello effettuato recentemente dallo stesso Istituto in Libia negli anni 1938–40, illustrando come è stata compilata la relavita carta delle isogone al 1° gennaio 1941, della quale allega copia. Da tale rilievo risultano zone particolarmente anomale a sud di Tripoli.
Zusammenfassung Anknüpfend an die geomagnetische Aufnahme Italiens welche in den Jahren 1932–37 vom Istituto Geografico Militare durchgeführt wurde, beschreibt der Verf. die Entwicklungen der geomagnetischen Vermessungsarbeiten in Lybien die in den folgenden Jahren 1938–40 dasselbe Institut gemacht hat. Die betreffenden Ergebnisse sind in einer Isogonen-Karte dargestellt, welche zu den 1. Januar 1941 sich bezieht. Riassunto Un metodo differenziale di lettura concernente l'uso del nuovo tipo di accelerometro ideato dall'A. e descritto in altra nota di questo periodico, viene qui esposto. Si dimostra che, disponendo di una coppia di pendoli accelerometrici del tipo descritto e senza far uso di alcun frequenzimetro, un valore fortemente approssimato dell'accelerazione è ricavabile dalla sola nozione dei due spostamenti delle masse pendolari sotto l'effetto della stessa scossa. Una semplice formula collega il valore dell'accelerazione ai suddetti elementi cinematici che è sufficiente conoscere con approssimazione. Si conclude affermando che le qualità di semplice automatismo e razionalità del nuovo accelerometro ideato dall'A. lo rendono indispensabile per il rilievo delle accelerazioni massimali esplicantisi in zona pleistosismica, più ancora come apparato tipico per la costituzione di reti accelerometriche permanenti da distendersi sulle zone prevalentemente sismiche.
Zusammenfassung Der Verf. hat vor kurzem einen neuen Beschleunigungsmesser erdacht, gebaut und in dieser ZS. beschreibt. Für diesen Apparat beweist nun die Möglichkeit durch eine differentielle Methode die Beschleunigung zu bestimmen und zwar durch eine doppelte Ablesung mittels zwei gleichen Apparate von fast gleicher Empfindlichkeit aber mit verschiedenen Schwing-Perioden, Die abgeleiteten Formeln werden dann vom Verf. auch benutzt um die gute Annäherung des Verfahrens zu überprüfen, wofür zeigt, dass die Bestimmung de Beschleunigung normalerweise mit einer Annäherung von 2–3%, in jedem Falle höchstens von 5%, möglich ist.相似文献
