The influence of freeze-thaw cycles on the granulometric composition of Moscow morainic clay 总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2
The freeze-thaw cycling process considerably changes the composition,structure,and properties of soils.Since the grain size is the most important factor in determining soil characteristics,our current research primarily aims to investigate dynamic changes of the soil fraction when exposed to freeze-thaw conditions.We observed two series of Moscow morainic clayey specimens(g QmII):(I) the original series,and(II) the remolded series.We subjected each series of soil specimens to different frequencies of freeze-thaw cycles(3,6,20,and 40 cycles),and we used granulometric tests to analyze both series before and after exposure to freeze-thaw conditions.As a result of our experiments,the granulometric compositions tended to be distributed evenly after 40 freeze-thaw processes(i.e.,content of fraction for 0.1–0.05 mm was increased after 40 freeze-thaw cycles) because the division of coarse grains and the aggregation of fine grains were synchronized during the freeze-thaw process.The soil grains in both series changed bi-directionally.In the original series,changes of the sand grains were conjugated with the clay grains,and in the remolded series,changes of the sand grains were conjugated with the silt grains,because potential energy difference caused the division and aggregation processes to relate to the counteraction process.The even distribution of soil grain size indicated the state of equilibrium or balance.The granulometric compositions were altered the most during the sixth freeze-thaw cycle,because the coefficient of the intensity variation of the grain fineness(Kvar) had its maximum value at that time. 相似文献

Frost heave is an upward swelling of soil during cryogenic conditions in cold regions. It is caused by the accumulation of ice crystals in subgrade soil, which grow upwards when freezing temperatures penetrate into the subgrade. This study establishes the allowable soil subgrade frost heave based on the roughness standard of asphalt pavement in China, and aims to balance the pavement design and frost heave resistance of subgrades in cold regions. We formulated a mechanical model of pavement supported by the boundary conditions of differential frost heave, based on the elastic layered system theory. The differential soil subgrade frost heave was modeled as a sinusoidal function, and the allowable frost heave and the roughness index were modeled as the displacement boundaries for the top and bottom of the pavement structure. Then the allowable frost heave was back-calculated according to the roughness standard. Numerical results show that the allowable frost heave depends on the pavement structure, material properties, the highway grade, and other factors. In order to ensure that the actual soil subgrade frost heave is lower than the allowable frost heave, pavement structures and materials need to be selected and designed carefully. The numerical method proposed here can be applied to establish the frost heave resistance of subgrade when the pavement structure and materials are determined. 相似文献

受震旦纪末期桐湾运动影响,四川盆地震旦系灯影组白云岩因遭受大气降水岩溶作用而发育了丰富的溶蚀孔隙。虽然经历了漫长的埋藏成岩演化过程,深层灯影组白云岩中仍见有丰富的储集空间未被成岩矿物充填而保存下来。通过对钻井及野外剖面进行系统岩石矿物学研究发现,储集空间保存段是灯影组上部的沥青显示段;而没有沥青的下部白云岩中的孔隙空间多被白云石等成岩矿物所充填。对林1井研究发现,上部沥青发育段白云岩储层孔隙度多大于3.0%,最高可达10.6%,平均为4.0%;但下部沥青不发育的自生白云石充填段孔隙度一般都小于3.0%,平均为1.95%。下部白云岩段溶蚀孔洞中自孔洞边缘向中心,所充填的白云石中流体包裹体均一温度从120℃逐渐增加至238℃;电子探针分析Fe、Mn平均含量从0.063%和0.025%逐渐升高至0.35%和0.108%;氧同位素组成δ18 OVPDB从-6.8‰逐渐降低至-11.2‰;表明了下部沥青未充填段成岩充填作用在埋藏过程中持续进行。油气充注改变了白云岩储层中的成岩流体环境并抑制了成岩矿物的形成;在后期埋藏过程,油逐渐转变成沥青覆盖在孔洞壁周围,也抑制了成岩矿物的沉淀形成;因而在现今沥青存在的深层白云岩储层中仍有丰富的孔隙空间保存下来。 相似文献

班公湖—怒江成矿带西段日土—多龙地区为一条燕山期岩浆弧,已相续发现多处大、中型矿产,具有良好的成矿地质条件。弗野岩体位于该岩浆弧西侧,岩性以闪长岩和闪长玢岩为主,蚀变较强;微量元素原始地幔标准化后亏损Ba、Nb、Ta、Sr和Ti,富集Th、U和Pb;稀土元素球粒陨石标准化后表现出整体向右缓倾,显示负Eu异常;D1046和D1049两件样品的锆石LuHf同位素结果显示,εHf(t)主要集中在-5.2~-12.2区间,TDM1模式年龄介于0.98~1.28Ga之间;锆石206Pb/238U年龄加权平均值分别为119.06±0.48Ma和120.03±0.68Ma,均形成于早白垩世中期。结合岩石地球化学特征判断其属于I型花岗岩类,源区物质来源于幔源物质和下地壳物质。根据该岩浆弧带的岩体特征判断,班公湖—怒江特提斯洋至少在中侏罗世已经开始了向北的俯冲作用,且在早白垩世这种向北的俯冲作用仍在持续。 相似文献

We applied the multigrid nonlinear least-squares four-dimensional variational assimilation(MG-NLS4DVar) method in data assimilation and prediction experiments for Typhoon Haikui(2012) using the Weather Research and Forecasting(WRF) model. Observation data included radial velocity(V_r) and reflectivity(Z) data from a single Doppler radar, quality controlled prior to assimilation. Typhoon prediction results were evaluated and compared between the NLS-4DVar and MG-NLS4DVar methods. Compared with a forecast that began with NCEP analysis data, our radar data assimilation results were clearly improved in terms of structure, intensity, track, and precipitation prediction for Typhoon Haikui(2012). The results showed that the assimilation accuracy of the NLS-4DVar method was similar to that of the MG-NLS4DVar method,but that the latter was more efficient. The assimilation of V_r alone and Z alone each improved predictions of typhoon intensity, track, and precipitation; however, the impacts of V_r data were significantly greater that those of Z data.Assimilation window-length sensitivity experiments showed that a 6-h assimilation window with 30-min assimilation intervals produced slightly better results than either a 3-h assimilation window with 15-min assimilation intervals or a 1-h assimilation window with 6-min assimilation intervals. 相似文献

以2018年3月4日影响浙江的初春罕见飑线过程为例,利用WRF模式与GSI-3DVar同化系统开展了雷达资料同化对重大强对流天气的影响研究,分析了雷达资料同化对此次飑线过程的模拟改进作用和可能影响过程,对比了雷达反射率因子和雷达径向速度的同化效果,探讨了不同数量和位置的雷达资料同化对模拟效果的影响。结果表明:雷达资料(尤其是反射率因子)同化有效改善了飑线边界层特征的模拟,从而改进了模式对飑线过程中组合反射率因子、降水、大风等发展演变的模拟效果。雷达反射率因子同化通过直接调整水凝物质含量,修正风暴中降水模拟及由此引起的蒸发冷却,形成更接近实况的强冷池,进而产生了比雷达径向速度同化更大的正贡献。相对于同化非关键区域的雷达资料,同化飑线过程上游关键区域的雷达观测所包含的重要中小尺度信息,对飑线过程模拟效果提升更为重要。 相似文献

由于受到高空风场的影响,人工增雨防雹火箭真实的弹道轨迹和射程与理论弹道值具有不一致性。为增强实施增雨防雹作业的科学性、精准性及其作业效果评估准确性,研制了一套人工增雨防雹火箭播撒作业跟踪系统。该系统分为火箭定位系统和数据传输系统两部分,利用卫星定位模块加上数据传输电台模式将火箭飞行轨迹实时传输至地面。并开展了一次人工增雨防雹火箭弹道跟踪实弹发射试验,发射两发人工增雨防雹测试火箭,除初始阶段4~5 s卫星定位失锁而没有数据外,其余时间所有数据均接收完整。结合高空风场数据对人工增雨防雹测试火箭进行风偏修正后的实际弹道更接近于理论弹道,风偏修正意义明显,有利于增雨防雹火箭精准作业。 相似文献
