Two-deuteron radiative capture reaction is one of the deuterium-burning processes that the cross section is not well known at very low-energies. We develop the formalism based on pionless Effective Field Theory (EFT) for deuteron–deuteron (dd) scattering to derive the cross section of two-deuteron radiative capture. Within this formalism the two- and three-body forces, should also be included in the capture cross section calculations. The aim of the present work is to calculate the observables of the low-energy dd photonuclear reactions. The cross section and the astrophysical S-factor for the 2H(d,γ)4He reaction have been calculated. The 4He is studied as four-body bound states in the pionless EFT. The theoretical uncertainties for observables are estimated based on the variation of the cutoffs. The astrophysical S-factor is accurately determined to be 6.9×10?6 keV?b (6.1×10?6 keV?b) for two-body (two- and three-body) at zero energy. A satisfactory agreement between theory and experiment for dd radiative capture observables up to order of calculation has been found by insertion of three-body force.  相似文献

The cross section for a neutron-deuteron(nd) radiative capture is calculated using the pionless effective field theory including isospin symmetry breaking(ISB) corrections up to higher order.The triton is studied as a three-body bound state and one has to take into account various ISB effects,relativistic corrections and external electromagnetic currents.The isospin violation in nd radiative capture is improved compared to the one at NLO and N2LO.The cross section is determined to beσtot= [0.505 ± 0.003] mb up to N2LO.A satisfactory agreement between theory and experiment for the calculated cross section has been found by insertion of three-body forces and ISB effects.  相似文献

The expansion of cylindrical and spherical cavities in sands is modelled using similarity solutions. The conventional Mohr–Coulomb failure criterion and the state parameter sand behaviour model, which enables hardening–softening, are used in the analysis. The sand state is defined in terms of a new critical state line, designed to account for the three different modes of compressive deformation observed in sands across a wide range of stresses including particle rearrangement, particle crushing and pseudoelastic deformation. Solutions are generated for cavities expanded from zero and finite radii and are compared to those solutions where a conventional critical state line has been used. It is shown that for initial states typical of real quartz sand deposits, pseudoelastic deformation does not occur around an expanding cavity. Particle crushing does occur at these states and causes a reduction in the stress surrounding the cavity. This has major implications when using cavity expansion theory to interpret the cone penetration test and pressuremeter test. Copyright © 2002 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Investigation of the precipitation phenomenon as one of the most important meteorological factors directly affecting access to water resources is of paramount importance. In this study, the precipitation concentration index (PCI) was calculated using annual precipitation data from 34 synoptic stations of Iran over a 50-year period (1961–2010). The trend of precipitation and the PCI index were analyzed using the Mann–Kendall test after removing the effect of autocorrelation coefficients in annual and seasonal time scales. The results of zoning the studied index at annual time scale revealed that precipitation concentration follows a similar trend within two 25-year subscales. Furthermore, the PCI index in central and southern regions of the country, including the stations of Kerman, Bandarabbas, Yazd, Zahedan, Shahrekord, Birjand, Bushehr, Ahwaz, and Esfahan indicates a strong irregularity and high concentration in atmospheric precipitations. In annual time scale, none of the studied stations, had shown regular concentration (PCI < 10). Analyzing the trend of PCI index during the period of 1961–2010 witnessed an insignificant increasing (decreasing) trend in 16 (15) stations for winter season, respectively, while it faced a significant negative trend in Dezful, Saghez, and Hamedan stations. Similarly, in spring, Kerman and Ramsar stations exhibited a significant increasing trend in the PCI index, implying significant development of precipitation concentration irregularities in these two stations. In summer, Gorgan station showed a strong and significant irregularity for the PCI index and in autumn, Tabriz and Zahedan (Babolsar) stations experienced a significant increasing (decreasing) trend in the PCI index. At the annual time scale, 50 % of stations experienced an increasing trend in the PCI index. Investigating the changes in the precipitation trend also revealed that in annual time scale, about 58 % of the stations had a decreasing trend. In winter, which is the rainiest season in Iran, about 64 % of stations experienced a decreasing trend in precipitation that caused an increasing trend in PCI index. Comparing the spatial distribution of PCI index within two 25 years sub-periods indicated that the PCI index of the second sub-period increased in the spring time scale that means irregularity of precipitation distribution has been increased. But in the other seasons any significant variations were not observed. Also in the annual time scale the PCI index increased in the second sub-period because of the increasing trend of precipitation.  相似文献

Soil temperature has an important role in agricultural, hydrological, meteorological and climatological studies. In the present research, monthly mean soil temperature at four different depths (5, 10, 50 and 100 cm) was estimated using artificial neural networks (ANN), adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) and gene expression programming (GEP). The monthly mean soil temperature data of 31 stations over Iran were employed. In this process, the data of 21 and 10 stations were used for training and testing stages of used models, respectively. Furthermore, the geographical information including latitude, longitude and altitude as well as periodicity component (the number of months) was considered as inputs in the mentioned intelligent models. The results demonstrated that the ANN and ANFIS models had good performance in comparison with the GEP model. Nevertheless, the ANFIS generally performed better than ANN model.  相似文献

Performances of conventional and improved soil moisture balance as well as locally calibrated empirical models were evaluated in simulating potential recharge (R) and soil moisture content for a semi-arid foothill region. Models comparison with observed values using lysimeter data during [(2011–2012), (2012–2013)] reveal poor performance of conventional soil moisture balance model, underestimating annual R values. Improved soil moisture balance model provided acceptable estimation of annual R for 2011–2012 by considering the wetting of the near surface soil storage. However, it produced the worst simulation for daily soil moisture content once rainy season was over. Sensitivity analysis revealed that the precision degree of initial soil moisture deficit value would strongly influence estimation of R by improved soil moisture balance model, which can be viewed as a limiting factor. Additionally, locally calibrated model produced the best estimation of annual R and daily soil moisture content, which is suggested for the study region.  相似文献

During the last decade, a number of models have been developed to consider the conflict in dynamic reservoir operation. Most of these models are discrete dynamic models which are developed based on game theory. In this study, a continuous model of dynamic game and its corresponding solutions are developed for reservoir operation. Two solution methods are used to solve the model of continuous dynamic game, namely the Ricatti equations and collocation methods. The Ricatti equations method is a closed form solution, requiring less computational efforts compared with discrete models. The collocation solution method applies Newton's method or a quasi-Newton method to find the problem solution. These approaches are able to generate operating policies for dynamic reservoir operation. The Zayandeh-Rud river basin in central Iran is used as a case study and the results are compared with alternative water allocation models. The results show that the proposed solution methods are quite capable of providing appropriate reservoir operating policies, while requiring rather short computational times due to continuous formulation of state and decision variables. Reliability indices are used to compare the overall performance of the proposed models. Based on the results from this study, the collocation method leads to improved values of the reliability indices for total reservoir system and utility satisfaction of water users, compared to the Ricatti equations method. This is attributed to the flexible structure of the collocation model. When compared to alternative water allocation models, lower values of reliability indices are achieved by the collocation method.  相似文献

The rhyolitic dome in the Rangan area has been subjected to hydrothermal alterations by two different systems, (1) A fossil magmatic–hydrothermal system with a powerful thermal engine of a deep monzodioritic magma, (2) An active hydrothermal system dominated by meteoric water. Based on mineralogical and geochemical studies, three different alteration facies have been identified (phyllic, advanced argillic and silicic) with notable differences in REE and other trace elements behaviour. In the phyllic alteration zone with assemblage minerals such as sericite, pyrite, quartz, kaolinite, LREE are relatively depleted whereas HREE are enriched. The advanced argillic zone is identified by the presence of alunite–jarosite and pyrophyllite as well as immobility of LREE and depletion in HREE. In the silicic zone, most of LREE are depleted but HREE patterns are unchanged compared to their fresh rock equivalents. All the REE fractionation ratios (La/Yb)cn, (La/Sm)cn, (Tb/Yb)cn, (Ce/Ce1)cn and (Eu/Eu1)cn are low in the phyllic altered facies. (Eu/Eu1)cn in both advanced and silicic facies is low too. In all alteration zones, high field strength elements (HFSE) (e.g. Ti, Zr, Nb) are depleted whereas transition elements (e.g. V, Cr, Co, Ni, Fe) are enriched. Geochemically speaking, trace and rare earth elements behave highly selective in different facies.  相似文献

In the present study both the synthetic media composition as well as some process parameters in the anaerobic decolorization of Reactive Black 5 (RB5) by activated sludge were studied and optimized using statistical design of experiments (DOEs). Statistical analysis of the results of Plackett–Burman DOE showed that the addition of Mn or Fe, or increase in concentration of Mg, had a positive effect on the anaerobic decolorization efficiency whereas the effect of increase in concentration of glucose, ammonium chloride, and calcium chloride was negative. The effect of change in the concentration of glucose, mixed liquor suspended solid (MLSS), and RB5 on the anaerobic decolorization efficiency and rate and chemical oxygen demand (COD) removal was studied using central composite design methodology. Statistical analysis of the data showed that all the factors had significant effect on both the dye decolorization efficiency and rate. The interaction of glucose with MLSS and with dye and the interaction of MLSS with glucose and with dye were significant when the response was decolorization efficiency and rate, respectively. When COD removal was the response, the effect of change in glucose and MLSS concentration and the interaction between these two factors had statistically significant effect on the response.  相似文献
