A well crystallized and homogeneous specimen of lizardite from Monte Fico, Elba, Italy, has been studied by Mössbauer and Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectrometries. One of the aims was the determination of the oxidation state and the distribution of iron in the structure of this reference sample. Mössbauer data indicate the presence of octahedral ferrous iron, octahedral ferric iron and tetrahedral ferric iron (59.9, 31.3 and 8.8% of total iron, respectively). The existence of only one octahedral site, previously suggested by X-ray structure refinement, is confirmed. The occurrence of tetrahedrally coordinated iron is indicated also by FTIR spectrometry, in particular by the presence of an absorption band at 790 cm–1. Based also on new electron microprobe data, the improved crystal chemical formula for lizardite from Monte Fico is: (Mg2.74Fe2+ 0.10Fe3+ 0.05Al0.11)Σ=3.00 ?· (Si1.94Al0.05Fe3+ 0.01)Σ=2.00O5.05(OH)3.95. 相似文献

The P-uptake by Myriophyllum spicatum and Cladophora glomerata is investigated in the small phytotron at 5 and 15° in permanent light (11,5 klx) and in permanent darkness. Parallel to this, the gas-metabolism-physiological behaviour is determined by means of IRGA methods. A nutrient solution acc. to. Knop with P from KH2PO4 in the concentrations of 0.01, 0.05 and 0.1 mg/1 P was used as the nutrient medium. The carbon-dioxide assimilation of Fontinalis antipyretica is inhibited by 100 mg/1Zn2+ or Pb2+, without a lethal effect being caused. With increasing time of exposure from one to six days the threshold value of toxicity is lowered and at the same time the net assimilation is reduced within the range of concentration of 0.1 mg/1. In the ecological optimum of the environmental conditions the toxicity is weaker than under other unfavourable environmental conditions at the same time. Therefore, the photoecologically optimum illumination of 1200 lx is an effective bioprotector against phytotoxic lead ion concentrations, so that at 1200 lx also at a comparatively high load a positive photosynthesis balance can be maintained. In the dark, in the first hour after the application of the lead ions dissimilation is a function of concentration, subsequently the respiration differences decrease very much in the range between 0 and 100 mg/1 lead(II)-ions. In the present study, we performed gastropod analyses on loess–palaeosol sequences from northeast Armenia (Southern Caucasia) covering at least three glacial–interglacial cycles. The elaborated ecostratigraphy shows significant patterns of species composition related to the succession of pedocomplexes and loess, respectively. Pedocomplexes included species that can be associated with high-grass to forest-steppe biomes, indicating increased humidity for these sections compared to the loess layers. In contrast, loess layers that relate to glacial periods are associated with gastropod species of semidesert environments with shrub- and shortgrass-steppes, indicating semiarid to arid conditions. Furthermore, the loess deposits do not show any evidence for cold-adapted gastropod species. Therefore, we suggest that average July temperatures in the study area were above 10 °C, even during periods of loess deposition. Consequently, we propose that the limiting factor for tree growth during glacial periods was aridity, rather than temperature. In addition, we observe environmental differences between the various glacial times, with our results indicating a trend towards steadily increasing aridity in Southern Caucasia across the Middle to Late Pleistocene. 相似文献

For the first time, a new approach to petroleum systems analysis is presented which allows full integration of tectonic and palinspastic restoration with three-dimensional (3D), PVT-controlled, multi-component, three-phase petroleum migration analysis through time. A systematic modeling study has been applied to a study area dominated by fold and thrust belts located in the Sub Andean orogeny near Tarija, Bolivia. The project has been performed with a special focus on the simulation technique and on the correct distribution of temperature, source-rock maturity and pressure development through time with reference to its input data. This is the first pilot project presenting a 3D numerical model in a compressional structural regime to which the basin modeling approach has been applied to explain the observed distribution of temperature, pressure, maturity and petroleum accumulations in general. 相似文献

In the framework of TREDER'S dynamics, in which according to the MACH -EINSTEIN -doctrin the inertial masses are induced by the gravitational interaction with the particles of the cosmos, we calculate the secular post-NEWTON ian effects for the restricted three-body problem. The dominant secular post-NEWTON ian variation of nodes and apsides is shown to be the same as in EINSTEIN'S theory of gravitation.
