The effects of hypomagnetic conditions and the reversal of the geomagnetic field (GMF) on intracellular Ca2+-dependent proteases (calpains) of fish and invertebrates have been studied in vivo and in vitro. It is found that the intravital exposure of examined animals to hypomagnetic conditions leads to a significant decrease in its calpain activity. The activity of preparations of calcium-dependent proteases was tested in separate experiments. It is shown that preparations of Ca2+-dependent proteases from invertebrates and fish are also inactivated substantially under effect of hypomagnetic conditions. The ambiguous results obtained in the experiments with a reversed GMF do not make it possible to discuss the biological response of calcium-dependent proteases to the reversal of the GMF.  相似文献

New data are presented on the distribution of oxygen isotopes and conditions of the local isotope equilibrium in high-Al rocks rocks of Khitostrov Island showing abnormally low δ18O values (below–25‰). The temperatures of isotope equilibrium are within 400–475°C. The minimum δ18O values have been registered in the in plagioclase, whereas the same phases in kyanite-bearing rocks lacking corundum demonstrate δ18O values usually 3–5‰ higher. The fluid δ18O value varies from–22 to–16‰ at 475 ± 15°C, from–18 to–23‰ at 425 ± 25°C, and from–17 to–22‰ at 380 ± 15°C. The results obtained do not require abnormal depletion of δ18O values owing to the infiltration of an external fluid under the Svecofennian transformations. The association of corundum-bearing rocks with the basic intrusions, the presence of zircon cores of older ages compared to these rocks, and the peculiarities of rock chemistry may be ascribed to the fact that lower crustal layers of ancient rocks depleted in δ18O before metamorphism were captured by basite melts.  相似文献

The sources of tritium production at NPPs are considered. The contemporary data on the tritium concentration in the rivers and reservoirs of Russia are presented. The Russian and foreign standards for the permissible tritium concentration in drinking water are compared. The forecast is computed of tritium concentration in a hypothetical river polluted with NPP discharges which meets the EUR tritium discharge requirements. It is demonstrated that tritium discharges from projected NPPs may reliably meet the requirements established by population exposure dose safety standards if general safety rules for tritium discharges to the environment are observed, the correct scheme of water body management is used, and the water use is reasonable.  相似文献

Geochemical, isotopic-geochemical, and geochronological information was obtained on magmatic rocks from the Saltychan anticlinorium in the Azov domain of the Ukrainian Shield. The rocks affiliate with the calc-alkaline series and a high-Mg series. The rocks of these series notably differ in concentrations of trace elements and REE and range from gabbro to granodiorite-quartz diorite in composition. The NORDSIM ionprobe U-Pb zircons ages of rocks belonging to the Obitochnen Complex and having both elevated and normal mg# correspond to 2908–2940 Ma. The Osipenkovskaya intrusion has an age of 2855 ± 19 Ma. The most alkaline North Obitochnen intrusion was emplaced in the Proterozoic, at 2074 ± 11 Ma. The age of the amphibolite metamorphism of the host gneisses is reliably dated at 3120–3000 Ma. The model Sm-Nd ages of the intrusive rocks do not exceed 3150 Ma. According to geochemical evidence, the parental melts of the magmatic rocks were derived from mantle domains variably enriched in lithophile elements. The results obtained by studying the Sm-Nd isotopic system corroborate the conclusion drawn from geochemical evidence that most of the melts were derived from the mildly enriched mantle, practically without involvement of ancient crustal material. The mantle became enriched in LREE at approximately 3000 Ma, which corresponds to the age of metamorphism of the supracrustal rocks. This process was separated from the derivation of the melts by a time span of 70–80 Ma. The relative age of the intrusive rocks and their variable composition can be most adequately explained by a contribution of heat and material from a plume to the derivation of the parental melts of these rocks.  相似文献

A report by Soviet delegates to the 15th Congress of the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing provides a forum for a Soviet assessment of foreign achievements in the practical application of remote sensing in various fields of economic activity, particularly oil and gas exploration, prospecting for metallic minerals, forestry, and oceanography. Special emphasis is given to digital image processing for land-use classification, a field in which Soviet researchers are becoming increasingly involved. The operating principles of the telescope-robot system MASTER (Mobile Astronomical System of Telescopes-Robots, http://observ.pereplet.ru), designed to search for fast transient phenomena in the optical range, are described. The robot-telescope includes the following: a Richter-Slefogt telescope with D=355 mm, F/D=2.4, a Richter-Slefogt telescope with D=200 mm, F/D=2.4, a Flugge telescope with D=280 mm, F/D=2.5, a TV camera with a field of 20x40 degrees, and three CCD cameras. A German mount with a slew rate of 8 deg/s is used. MASTER obtains images down to 19m in a field of 6 square degrees in a 1.5 minute exposure. We present some observations of the optical afterglow of cosmic gamma-ray bursts.
