By analyzing seismograms of short period records at the Beijing SeismoJogicaJ Observatory, the present paper investigates the amplitude ratio of seismic phases. The results indicate that the amplitude ratio of Sn/Lg is correlated with the lithosphere structure, the thermal state, and strong earthquake occurrence in the region the seismic rays pass through. The significance of such a correlation in the study on the genesis and prediction of strong earthquakes is discussed. 相似文献

This paper offers an approach to the relative confidence level of medium- and long-term earthquake prediction methods by use of the analytical hierarchy process (AHP). We construct the criterion judgment matrices according to the results of an expert questionnaire known as the Delphi scheme. From the matrices we can obtain a scale for the relative preference or priority weight of each factor. In the past decade, the most authoritative catalogues of Chinese earthquakes and the most popular with seismologists in China are the following:(1) Gu Gongxu, 1983, Catalogue of Chinese Earthquakes;(2) Min Ziqun, 1988, Concise Catalogue of Chinese Earthquakes;(3) Xie Yusuou, 1989, Catalogue of Chinese Earthquakes (M≥ 4.7) from 1900-1980 with Uniform Magnitudes; and(4) Min Ziqun, 1995, Catalogue of Chinese Historical Strong Earthquakes. Earthquakes that occurred before 1900 are mainly documented in historical records.Since 1950s, more recent earthquakes were documented in two major compilations of historical records finished in 1956 and 1983-1987. Separately this effort resulted in two chronicles: two volumes for the first one and five volumes for the second one. The magnitudes are converted from the maximum intensity. In this paper,25 new terrestrial heat flow values newly observed along the mid-segment of the Tancheng-Lujiang fault zone are listed.With these geothermal data and 37 other terrestrial heat flow values(previously published),we describe the distribution features of terrestrial heat flows in the area.In this research,the two-dimensional temperature structure from the surface to lithospheric bottom of the Huaibei-Sixian-Jinhu profile is inferred by using the finite-element method and the temperature and heat flow of sedimentary,granitic,and basaltic layers is calculated. 相似文献

In previous seismotectonic studies,the emphasis was placed on the inherited active fault zones.In the recent tectonic stage that essentially keeps in step with the current regional geologic environment and the stress field,however,there are also some newly generated fault zones.By studying the seismicity in North and Southwest China,it has been known that the NE-trending Tangshan-Hejian-Cixian and NW-trending Tengchong-Gengma-Lancang seismic zones are just two newly generated fault zones.As distinguished from the inherited fault zones,they are called the newly generated seismotectonic zones.This paper deals with the existence of these two seismogenic zones from their seismicity and geological structures,gives a preliminary analysis of their characteristics,and shows their significance. 相似文献

为研究不同类型地震序列物理过程的差异,我们研究了151例国内外的地震序列主震后早期的地震有序度和多分形特征的差异。主要结果为:能量分配的不同是序列主震后早期的主要分类标志。地震序列的能量熵值可作为序列早期分类的定量指标.序列蠕变熵值的变化速率可作为后续强余震的预测依据之一.对于主震型序列,由于介质的均匀性相对较好,余震破裂可以充分扩展,子系统作用顺利,从而导致能量分配比较集中(Qc值较低),时间结构的多重分形Dq变化幅度较大。反之,对于震群序列,由于震源区存在多个障碍体,使得子系统的作用受到一定程度的阻碍,破裂不能顺利扩展,因此,可能会造成能量分配比例失调,表现为大事件增多,Qc值较高,余震过程相对拉长,时间多重分形Dq差值变小.由此可见,不同类型的地震序列在主震后早期能量分配的集中程度的差异以及时间多重分形跨度的变化,很可能反映了余震区破裂扩展的充分程度。 相似文献

在对五大连池地震台1983年以来观测到的五大连池火山区的地震记录复核的基础上,测定了火山构造地震的空间分布状态。研究结果表明该地区地震活动均为壳内地震。受火山构造环境影响,地震活动存在着外围边缘强,震源深度分布深;内部弱,震源深度分布浅的差异。火山区内部地震深度分布优势在5km—8km,有3个地震分布密集区,震中分布呈明显的沿火山构造断层成带分布特性。在地震条带交汇处,震源深度起伏变化大,是火山构造活动强烈部位 相似文献
