Developing an accurate model for discharge estimation techniques of the ungauged river basin is a crucial challenge in water resource management especially in under-development regions. This article is a thorough review of the historical improvement stages of this topic to understand previous challenges that faced researchers, the shortfalls of methods and techniques, how researchers prevailed and what deficiencies still require solutions. This revision focuses on data-driven approaches and GIS-based methods that have improved the accuracy of estimation of hydrological variables, considering their advantages and disadvantages. Past studies used artificial intelligence and geo-statistical methods to forecast the runoff at ungauged river basins, and mapping the spatial distribution has been considered in this study. A recommendation for future research on the potential of a hybrid model utilizing both approaches is proposed and described.  相似文献

Computational intelligent techniques, such as fuzzy and genetic algorithm, have proven to be useful in modeling of complex nonlinear phenomena such as dynamic compaction. Dynamic compaction method is used to improve the mechanical behavior of underlying soil layers especially loose granular materials. The method involves the repeated impart of high-energy impacts to the soil surface using steel or concrete tampers with weights ranging 10–40 ton and with drop heights ranging 10–40 m. A relatively exact estimation of dynamic compaction level is of major concern to geotechnical engineers. This paper develops a fuzzy set base method for the analysis of dynamic compaction phenomenon. In this model, the input variables are tamper weight, height of tamper drop, print spacing, tamper radius, number of impact and soil layer geotechnical properties. The main shortcoming of this technique is uncertainty to locate the best sketch of dynamic compaction to gain maximum effect of this method of soil improvement. Therefore, this paper describes the incorporation of genetic algorithm methodology using fuzzy system for determining the optimum design of dynamic compaction. Subsequently, it will be shown that the genetic algorithm has some abilities in the optimization of dynamic compaction design. Also different manners of this algorithm are compared and then the optimized structure of genetic algorithm will be suggested for dynamic compaction.  相似文献

An application of the artificial neural network (ANN) approach for predicting mean grain size using electric resistivity data from Bam city is presented. A feed forward back propagation network was developed employing 45 sets of input data. The input variables in the ANN model are the electrical resistivity, water table as a Boolean value and depth; the output is the mean grain size. To demonstrate the authenticity of this approach, the network predictions are compared with those from interpolation methods and the same data. This comparison shows that the ANN approach performs better results. The predicted and observed mean grain size values were compared and show high correlation coefficients. The ANN approach maps show a high degree of correlation with well data based grain size maps and can therefore be used conservatively to better understand the influence of input parameters on sedimentological predictions.  相似文献

In this paper, three H-control design methods are developed and applied to a three-storey building with an active mass damper as a control mechanism. The system of equations of the structural system, including the actuator and sensors, has been developed directly from experimentally derived data which forms the basis of the benchmark study discussed in this paper. The building plus the damper are modelled as a nominally linear system with input as well as state delays. Feedback control synthesis are first performed by using either of the two forms; the first is a pure state feedback and the other is a static output feedback. The analytical results are cast into a Linear Matrix Inequality (LMI) framework which can be solved numerically by efficient interior-point methods. The developed system is subjected to two historical earthquake excitation inputs (ElCentro and Hachinohe) and to the Kanai–Tajimi filter. The response is given in the form of indices in order to compare with other solutions of the benchmark problem. Some important evolution nonlinear partial differential equations are derived using the reductive perturbation method for unmagnetized collisionless system of five component plasma. This plasma system is a multi-ion contains negatively and positively charged Oxygen ions (heavy ions), positive Hydrogen ions (lighter ions), hot electrons from solar origin and colder electrons from cometary origin. The positive Hydrogen ion and the two types of electrons obey \(q\)-non-extensive distributions. The derived equations have three types of ion acoustic waves, which are soliton waves, shock waves and kink waves. The effects of the non-extensive parameters for the hot electrons, the colder electrons and the Hydrogen ions on the propagation of the envelope waves are studied. The compressive and rarefactive shapes of the three envelope waves appear in this system for the first order of the power of the nonlinearity strength with different values of non-extensive parameters. For the second order, the strength of nonlinearity will increase and the compressive type of the envelope wave only appears.  相似文献

The Homrit Akarem granitic intrusion (HAGI) outcrops near the western edge of the south Eastern Desert basement exposure in Egypt. It is a composite of two cogenetic intrusive bodies: an early albite granite phase shallowly emplaced at the apex of a magmatic cupola, and a later subjacent pink granite phase with a marginal zone of muscovite granite and better preservation of magmatic features. Mineral chemistry of primary biotite and garnet, together with whole-rock chemistry, identify the HAGI as a highly fractionated A-type peraluminous intrusion. The chemistry of F-dominant, Li-bearing, Fe3+-rich primary magmatic mica in the pink granite resembles that typically found in highly evolved Nb-Y-F pegmatites. The HAGI is the evolved product of a primary magma generated by partial melting of juvenile crust of the Arabian-Nubian Shield (ANS), emplaced along a regional strike-slip fault system that promoted its ascent. The main emplacement mechanism and evolutionary sequence of the HAGI was magmatic, although secondary minerals and textures resulting from hydrothermal fluid interactions are observed, especially at its margins. Primary columbite-(Mn) crystallized from melt and was partly replaced by secondary fluorcalciomicrolite. The high fluorine content of magmatic fluids exsolved from the intrusion is indicated by quartz-fluorite veins, greisenization, albitization, and F-bearing secondary oxide minerals. The magmatic derivation of this fluid is demonstrated by the F-dominant primary mica, a siderophyllite-polylithionite solid solution commonly known as zinnwaldite. The chemistry of zinnwaldite constrains the F/OH activity ratio and oxygen fugacity of its parental melt and thereby resolves the ambiguity between pressure and the effects of F in controlling the normative quartz content of rare-metal granites. The HAGI is less mineralized than the post-collisional rare-metal granites found further east in the south Eastern Desert, replicating a trend observed previously in the central Eastern Desert and suggesting that east-west zoning in rare metal enrichment is a persistent feature across latitudes at the western edge of the ANS.  相似文献
