Summary The source functions of the stress wave patterns at an elastic source of these waves are analysed. The comparison of the properties of the functions with the stress wave records obtained earlier showed that their parameters do not satisfy, to a greater or lesser extent, the stress wave patterns in the neighbourhood of explosive sources. For this reason a new source function (1) was defined, which fully approximates the observed stress wave patterns in gravel sandy soil. The coefficientsP 0, , , and were experimentally determined as functions of the distance from the source, its size and the radius of the elastic source in the medium considered. Summary The amplitude and phase responses of electromagnetic seismographs with an arbitrary number of galvanometers, used to increase the dynamic range of the seismograph or to filter perturbing oscillations, are derived. The fundamental parameters of the system, i.e. the partial periods and the partial constants of damping of the seismometer and of the individual galvanometers, together with the coupling terms, are replaced by other constants. These enable the responses of each channel to be computed with the aid of a combination of elementary responses of the systems of the set with zero couplings between the galvanometers and a zero effect of the motion of the galvanometers on the motion of the seismometer. The elementary responses are defined by 2 types of substitute constants: equivalent constants, determined by the roots of the characteristic equation, or by the partial periods, and reduced damping constants. The possibilities of analysing a system with equivalent constants are demonstrated on the case of a seismograph with 2 galvanometers.  相似文献

Four moldavites and one sample each of an australite, billitonite, indochinite, philippinite, thailandite, Ivory Coast tektite, bediasite and a georgianite were analyzed using neutron activation analysis for La, Ce, Sm, Eu, Tb, Yb and Lu. The REE abundances resemble those of sedimentary rocks. Most of the tektites display a depletion of Eu, a characteristic feature of mature Phanerozoic continental sedimentary rocks. However, the Ivory Coast tektite and georgianite are relatively enriched in Eu, possibly due to the presence of plagioclase-rich source rocks.  相似文献

The contribution reviews basic concepts of earthquake hazard assessment for sites of nuclear power plants. Taking into account the delineation of earthquake source regions, intensity-frequency relations, upper intensity thresholdsI max and intensity attenuation curves, we determine the seismic hazard for a site in south Bohemia and calculated the quantities defining the seismic hazard, i.e. return period in years, probability of exceedance for different intensities and different periods of interest. The adopted procedure has some limitations due to the poor definition of seismogenic zones (boundaries,N(I),I max) and lack of strong motion observations in Central Europe.Communication presented at the XVII General Assembly of the European Seismological Commission in Budapest, 21–29 August 1980.  相似文献

Summary Seismic microzoning of Prague was performed using geological data and seismic response (ground shaking) computations. The Prague territory was covered by a square grid, each square 250 m×250 m being characterized by a simplified geological cross-section from the Earth's surface to the bedrock boundary. The data were obtained from detailed engineering-geological maps 1:5000. The geological cross-sections were transformed into a set of layered models, specified by the thicknesses of individual layers and corresponding compressional and shear-wave velocities, densities and parameters of the causal absorption. The seismic responses were computed by the matrix method. The main amplitude and frequency characteristics of the responses are demonstrated in the form of microzoning maps. The maps do not depend on the specific type of seismic excitation. They make it possible to predict the relative amplification of P and S waves, with respect to the bedrock outcrop, all over the city.  相似文献
