The quantitative parameters of the self-similarity of the aftershocks of the Japanese earthquake on March 11, 2011 were obtained. The parameters p in the Omori law (1.06), b in the Gutenberg-Richter law (0.61), and the fractal dimension (D) of the earthquake epicenters (1.52) were determined. Self-similarity is manifested in a range of two orders of temporal and spatial scales and four units of magnitude. The stability in time of parameter p and spatial variations in b and p parameters were revealed. 相似文献

Regular variation in the solid runoff of Antarctic glaciers with the period of 18.6 years is revealed as a result of long-term observations. It is demonstrated that the periodicity of the solid runoff correlates with the 18.6-year periodicity of the Earth’s angular velocity variations caused by the 18.6-year cyclicity of the variability of lunisolar tides. It is revealed that the vibratory gravitational sliding of glaciers to the sea is registered due to the tidal fluctuations along with many climate processes. evidence supports the Middle Volgian age of the Exoticus Zone. It is shown that the presence of the characteristic ammonoid assemblage allows the recognition of this zone in the

The analysis of Upper Jurassic and Lower Cretaceous marine sections developed in surrounding structures of the Laptev Sea revealed that all of them are composed of terrigenous rocks, which enclose abundant concretions cemented by calcareous material. The Upper Jurassic portion of the section is the most variable in thickness and stratigraphic range of sediments usually including hiatuses. Its Lower Cretaceous part represented by the Boreal Berriasian (=Ryazanian) and lower Valanginian stages is most complete. The Upper Jurassic and Lower Cretaceous sections are usually composed of fine-grained rocks (clays and mudstones) in the west and coarser cemented varieties (siltstones and sandstones) with rare mudstone intercalations in the east. Practically all the investigated Upper Jurassic and Lower Cretaceous sections include readily recognizable age and facies analogs of the Bazhenovo Formation and Achimov sandstones, which are petroliferous in West Siberia. There are grounds to assume the occurrence of these formations also on the Laptev Sea shelf, which is confirmed by seismic records. Conditions favorable for the formation of potential hydrocarbon reservoirs could exist in the western part of the paleobasin along the Nordvik Peninsula coast and northeastern Tamyr Peninsula margin. Paleotectonic reconstructions presented in this work are well consistent with stratigraphic conclusions. 相似文献

We describe the principles of the computation of minimum specifications of the optical system and array detector of the star attitude sensor to achieve the required attitude accuracy for the given exposure. The computations assume that the attitude error is influenced only by random noise of diverse origin, whereas all systematic errors have been eliminated. We report the specifications required for trackers meant for different purposes. We show that the errors of existing star trackers exceed the lowest achievable error by one order of magnitude because of unaccounted biases. We discuss the types of these biases and the methods that can be used to take them into account or eliminate them. 相似文献
