We carried out laser shock experiments and wholly recovered shocked olivine and quartz samples. We investigated the petrographic features based on optical micrographs of sliced samples and found that each recovered sample comprises three regions, I (optically dark), II (opaque), and III (transparent). Scanning electron microscopy combined with electron backscattered diffraction shows that there are no crystal features in the region I; the materials in the region I have once melted. Moreover, numerical calculations performed with the iSALE shock physics code suggest that the boundary between regions II and III corresponds to Hugoniot elastic limit (HEL). Thus, we succeeded in the recovery of the entire shocked samples experienced over a wide range of pressures from HEL (~10 GPa) to melting pressure (~100 GPa) in a hierarchical order. 相似文献

We analyzed noble gases in nine individual chondrules, an assemblage of small chondrules, and four whole‐rock samples of the Allende CV3 chondrite. Major elements were also determined for five chondrules. The cosmic ray exposure ages are calculated from cosmogenic 3He to be 5.17 ± 0.38 and 5.15 ± 0.25 Myr for the averages of the chondrules and whole rocks, respectively, showing no significant pre‐exposure evidence for the studied chondrules. Large amounts of 36Ar, 80,82Kr, and 128Xe produced by neutron capture are observed in most samples; the abundances of these nuclides are correlated among the samples. The epithermal neutron flux and neutron slowing down density are calculated based on [80Kr]n, from which a sample depth of about 30 cm can be calculated. The measured chondrules contain variable amounts of radiogenic 129Xe. The abundance ratios of radiogenic 129Xe to neutron capture–produced 128Xe are rather constant among the studied chondrules; four chondrules give more precise ratios at the high‐temperature fractions, ranging from 1920 ± 80 to 2280 ± 140, which corresponds to a time difference of 3.9 ± 2.4 Myr. It is noticeable that most chondrules also contain 244Pu‐derived fission Xe. The average 244Pu/238U ratio for nine chondrules is 0.0069 ± 0.0018, which agrees well with the preferred ratio reported for chondrites. 相似文献

In this study, seven types of first‐order and one‐variable grey differential equation model (abbreviated as GM (1, 1) model) were used to forecast hourly roadside particulate matter (PM) including PM10 and PM2.5 concentrations in Taipei County of Taiwan. Their forecasting performance was also compared. The results indicated that the minimum mean absolute percentage error (MAPE), mean squared error (MSE), root mean squared error (RMSE), and maximum correlation coefficient (R) was 11.70%, 60.06, 7.75, and 0.90%, respectively when forecasting PM10. When forecasting PM2.5, the minimum MAPE, MSE, RMSE, and maximum R‐value of 16.33%, 29.78, 5.46, and 0.90, respectively could be achieved. All statistical values revealed that the forecasting performance of GM (1, 1, x(0)), GM (1, 1, a), and GM (1, 1, b) outperformed other GM (1, 1) models. According to the results, it revealed that GM (1, 1) was an efficiently early warning tool for providing PM information to the roadside inhabitants. 相似文献

荷花坪锡多金属矿床是南岭中段湘南地区新发现的一个大型矿床,发育有印支期和燕山期2期成岩、成矿作用。文章对不同期矿石中的黄铁矿分别进行了稀有气体同位素研究。测试结果表明,印支期矽卡岩型矿石中的黄铁矿:3He/4He=0.15~2.49 Ra,38Ar/36Ar=0.18733~0.18902,40Ar/36Ar=310.45~523.98,20Ne/22Ne=9.727~9.830,21Ne/22Ne=0.0286~0.0310;燕山期蚀变碎裂岩型矿石中的黄铁矿:3He/4He=0.15~4.33 Ra,38Ar/36Ar=0.18750~0.18843,40Ar/36Ar=331.78~602.62,20Ne/22Ne=9.736~9.858,21Ne/22Ne=0.0286~0.0305,显示区内两期成矿流体均为大气饱和水、地壳流体和地幔流体的混合流体。印支期矽卡岩型矿石中地幔He所占比例为2.34%~41.40%,平均18.16%;燕山期蚀变碎裂岩型矿石中地幔He所占比例为2.34%~72.12%,平均27.41%,燕山期幔源流体的作用强度略高于印支期。湘南地区印支期基性岩浆活动及荷花坪矿床印支期成矿过程中有幔源物质的参与,二者共同指示南岭地区中生代构造体制的转换或岩石圈伸展减薄可能始于印支主期(244~230 Ma)之后的224 Ma左右,即晚三叠世。 相似文献

It is well known that the sudden intrusion of Kuroshio warm water into the Bungo Channel (kyucho) is regulated by spring–neap tidal forcing. In order to clarify the physical background behind this regulation, numerical experiments are carried out using a high-resolution non-hydrostatic three-dimensional model. We first reproduce the strong mixing region off the east coast of the Bungo Channel resulting from tidal flow interaction with complicated land configurations during spring tides; behind islands and headlands, small-scale eddies satisfying an approximate cyclostrophic balance are generated. As a result, averaged over the whole model domain, the tidal-mean energy dissipation rate reaches ≈1.6?×?10?6?W?kg?1. The model predicted energy dissipation rates at the location and times of direct microstructure measurements in the Bungo Channel are comparable to the observed values. We next examine whether or not strong tidal mixing thus reproduced can inhibit the northward intrusion of Kuroshio warm water in the Bungo Channel. It is shown that the Kuroshio warm water can (or cannot) pass through the tidal mixing regions off the east coast of the Bungo Channel during periods of weakened (or enhanced) tidal mixing at neap (or spring) tides. This indicates that taking into account the realistic spring–neap modulation of tidal mixing intensity is indispensable to further increase the ability of the existing forecast system for kyucho in the Bungo Channel. 相似文献

The Triangle Trans‐Ocean Buoy Network (TRITON) project by the Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology began with deployment in the western tropical Pacific Ocean in 1998 and has shifted to steady, long-term observations since 1999. After on-site inter-comparison with the Autonomous Temperature Line Acquisition System mooring system of the Tropical Atmosphere and Ocean (TAO) array by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the TRITON array became the international TAO/TRITON array in 2000 as a key component of the Global Ocean and Climate Observing Systems. The TAO/TRITON array took over from the TAO array, which was developed during the Tropical Ocean and Global Atmosphere program (1985–1994), and replaced the western part of TAO with new additional real-time measurements of salinity and ocean currents. In 2001, two TRITON moorings were deployed in the eastern Indian Ocean for capturing the eastern pole of the Indian Ocean Dipole. From this initiative, the Indian Ocean Observing System (IndOOS) was designed, and the Indian Ocean mooring array (Research Moored Array for Africa–Asian–Australian Monsoon Analysis and Prediction) was developed as a key component of IndOOS. In this paper, 15 years of progress in the TRITON project in the western Pacific and eastern Indian Oceans is reviewed with regards to scientific outcomes, technological development, and collaborations with international and domestic partners. Future directions for sustainable observation in the Pacific and Indian Oceans are also discussed. 相似文献
