The contents of radioactive elements and the uranium isotopic composition of kimberlite in the Arkhangelskaya pipe at the M.V. Lomonosov deposit and of nearby country rocks have been studied. A surplus of 234U isotope has been established in rocks from the near-pipe space. The high γ = 234U/238U ratio is controlled by the geological structure of the near-pipe space. A nonequilibrium uranium halo reaches two pipe diameters in size and can be regarded as a local ore guide for kimberlite discovery. The rocks in the nearpipe space are also characterized by elevated or anomalous U, Th, and K contents with respect to the background. 相似文献

It is shown that each classical plate-constants method may be formulated as a generalised Schlesinger's dependences method with N parameters, where N is the number of reference stars. We present results of polarimetric and photometric observations of bright comet C/1995 O1 (Hale-Bopp) obtained at the 0.7
m telescope of Kharkov University Observatory from June 18, 1996 to April 24, 1997. The IHW and HB comet filters were used.
The C2 and C3 production rates for Hale-Bopp are more than one order of magnitude larger and the dust production rates are more than two
orders of magnitude larger than the Halley ones at comparable distances. Hence, Hale-Bopp was one of the most dusty comets.
The average UC-BC and BC-RC colours of the dust were −0.02 and 0.13 mag, respectively. The polarization of comet Hale-Bopp
at small phase angles of 4.8–13.0° was in good agreement with the date for comet P1/Halley at the same phase angles in spite
of the fact that the heliocentric distances of comments differed nearly twice. However, at intermediate phase angles of 34–49°
the polarization of comet Hale-Bopp was significantly larger than the polarization of the other dusty comets. It is the first
case of such a large difference found in the continuum polarization of comets. The wavelength dependence of polarization for
Hale-Bopp was steeper than for other dusty comets. The observed degree of polarization for the anti-sunward side of the coma
was permanently higher than that for the sunward shell side. The polarization phase dependence of Hale-Bopp is discussed and
compared with the polarization curves for other dusty comets. The peculiar polarimetric properties of comet Hale-Bopp are
most likely caused by an over-abundance of small or/and absorbing dust particles in the coma.

We present the imaging polarimetry and photometry of Comet C/1996 Q1 (Tabur) obtained on October 10, 1996, with a two-channel focal reducer attached to the 2-m Pik Terskol Observatory telescope through blue (4430/44 Å) and red (6420/26 Å) continuum filters and through a 6620/59 Å filter that isolated the NH2(0.7.0) band. We analyze the 3600–9300 Å long-slit spectrograms of the comet taken on October 5–6, 1996, with the 2.6-m Crimean Astrophysical Observatory telescope. The NH2(0.8.0) 6408 Å emission and an unidentified 6428 Å emission were found to fall within the pass band of the red filter. The blue filter transmits weak unidentified emissions at 4424–4444 Å and partially C2(4360 Å). Correction for the depolarizing effect of molecular emissions resulted in an increase of the dust polarization by 2–4% in the near-nucleus region and by almost a factor of 2 in the outer coma regions. However, the polarization and color differences between different coma regions remained even after correction for the contribution of emissions. We found no dust polarization difference between the gas comet Tabur and the dust comet C/1988 A1 (Liller), which are believed to be fragments of a common parent comet. The NH2coma was found to be elongated perpendicular to the comet radius vector. The causes of the spatial asymmetry in the NH2molecular distribution are yet to be established. We study the evolution of activity and the spatial distribution of dust brightness, polarization, and color in the comet. We consider a taxonomic classification of gas and dust comets according to dust polarization properties. The polarization differences between dust and gas comets at large phase angles are most likely related both to the actual differences in dust and to the effect of molecular emissions, nuclear gas- and dust-production rates and to the evolution of grain properties with distance from the nucleus. 相似文献

河北汉诺坝新生代玄武岩携带的石榴辉石岩为岩浆底侵于上地幔顶部40~45 km形成的堆晶岩,是壳-幔过渡带的典型样品。本文使用Solartron 1260阻抗分析仪,测量1.2 GPa和380~900 ℃下石榴辉石岩WD958的电阻率。样品电导率(σ)与温度的关系遵守Arrhenius方程: σ=σ0exp(-ΔH/kT),其中T是样品的绝对温度,k是Boltzmann常数,指前因子σ0为97.5 S/m,活化焓ΔH为1.27 eV。使用傅立叶红外光谱仪测定样品中单斜辉石的平均含水量为117×10-6 H2O,橄榄石无水,石榴子石的含水量因蚀变无法测定。使用Hashin-Shtrikman平均方法计算样品WD958的电导率,发现样品可看作由含水单斜辉石、无水石榴子石和无水橄榄石组成的高阻集合体,电导率同时受小极化子导电和质子导电的影响。如果原位的石榴辉石岩的矿物含水量保持平衡,其电导率将提高1个数量级,质子导电成为主控导电机制。石榴辉石岩在高温的壳-幔过渡带(~1 000℃)表现为高导层,而在正常地温梯度下,与尖晶石二辉橄榄岩的电导率近似,为高阻层。因此,在岩浆底侵作用下,电性上的壳-幔边界将随着温度和含水量的变化而改变。 相似文献

The POMRad system of computer models is developed using the Princeton Ocean Model (POM) program code. The system enables modeling the radionuclide migration in large nonuniform water bodies (seas, bays, large rivers, and lakes) taking account of the migration of radioactive substances in the water mass-bottom system associated with the migration of radionuclides sorbed on suspended sediments and in solutes. In order to take account of radionucide transport with sediments the POM program code is supplemented with the models describing transport, settling, and resuspension of suspended sediments. The verification was carried out through comparing analytical solutions of simplified problems concerning the content of radionuclides in water, and modeling results. A potential of the POMRad application is demonstrated by an example of simulating the radioactivity transport in marine environment in the case of hypothetical accidents in the Saida and Kola bays. 相似文献

The orbits of the visual binaries ADS 8814 and ADS 8065 are determined for the first time. The orbits were calculated using the parameters of the apparent motion, based on position observations along short arcs obtained on the 26-inch refrector of the Pulkovo Observatory, supplemented with radial-velocity observations for the stellar components in both pairs obtained on the 1-m telescope of the Simeiz Section of the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory. All previous visual and photographic observations of these stars after 1832 were also taken into account. The orbit of ADS 8814 was refined using the differential-correction method. The orbital periods of these two stars are about 800 and 6000 years, respectively. The mass estimates derived for the known parallaxes from the Hipparcos catalog correspond to the spectral types of these stars. The polar vectors of the obtained orbits in Galactic coordinates are also given. 相似文献
