内蒙古达里湖全新世有机碳氮同位素记录与环境演变   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
内蒙古中东部的达里湖为一水文封闭型湖泊,位于现今东亚夏季风的北部边缘区,对区域环境变化十分敏感.本文对达里湖沉积中心提取的岩芯(DL04沉积岩芯)顶部8.5m沉积物进行了有机地球化学分析.15个全岩样品有机质的放射性碳测年结果表明:岩芯顶部8.5m涵盖了过去大约11500年.按约50年分辨率分析的225个总有机碳(TOC)、总氮(TN)含量、总有机碳/总氮(C/N)原子比值数据以及221个有机碳和有机氮稳定同位素(δ13C和δ13C)数据,详细揭示了全新世东亚夏季风边缘区的水文和生态变化历史.在距今11500 ~ 9800日历年(ca1.aB.P.)期间,所有地球化学指标均呈逐渐增大趋势,指示入湖河流逐渐增强,达里湖开始扩张,水生植物生产率逐渐升高;在9800 ~ 7700cal.aB.P.期间,TOC和TN含量以及C/N比值维持稳定高值,δ13C和δ15N值较小,指示湖泊维持高湖面状态,陆源输入和浮游植物生产率较高;在7700~ 5900cal.aB.P.期间,C/N比值和δ15N维持低值,TOC和TN含量呈现更高值,并且波动变化,δ13C值逐渐增大,表明湖面维持高水平,湖水显著变暖,浮游植物生产率显著升高,流域植被大幅度扩张;在5900 ~ 4850cal.aB.P.期间,TOC和TN含量,C/N比值以及δ13C值显著减小,δ15N值显著增大,暗示地表径流显著减弱,达里湖湖面显著下降,湖泊生产率快速下降;从4850cal.a B.P.开始,TOC和TN含量以及C/N比值呈逐渐减小趋势,δ13C和δ15N值呈逐渐增大趋势,表明湖面逐渐下降,湖水盐度、碱度升高,湖水可能变冷,湖泊生产率逐渐下降,流域植被收缩.全新世东亚夏季风边缘区水文和生态环境的变化可能直接或间接受北半球夏季太阳辐射量和区域季风降水强度的共同控制.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to clarify the diurnal variations in structure of an urban area from the viewpoint of time distance. To accomplish this, for one entire day, and for the morning, noon, and evening periods, time maps are delineated by using MDS; also, the indices of accessibility and circuity are computed from the time distances. As a result, the difference in shape between the time and actual maps becomes clear especially in the morning and also in the evening. Both the accessibility and circuity measured from the time distance show a concentrically shaped pattern where the regional disparity is especially distinct within the morning and evening periods. The diurnal variations as described above are thought to occur against the backdrop of the topological traffic conditions within the study area. Seasonal change in the meso-sized copepod community structure in the central part of Tokyo Bay was investigated from January 2006 to December 2008. Three seasonal community groups were detected, and seasonal shifts of these communities are explained by life history characteristics of indicator species and seasonal changes in the hydrographical environment. In the winter-spring community, Acartia omorii and Centropages abdominalis dominate because of high growth rates at low temperature. A shift to the early summer community is caused by a diapause of Ce. abdominalis as resting eggs and an increase in the growth and egg-production rate of Pseudodiaptomus marinus at high temperature. A shift to the summer-fall community is caused by a diapause of A. omorii at hypoxic and high temperature conditions and an increase of Temora turbinata, Paracalanus parvus and other oceanic species by an enhancement of the estuary circulation. Then, the community returns to a winter-spring one by the recovery of A. omorii and Ce. abdominalis with low temperatures and oxygenation of bottom water and by the disappearance of oceanic warm-water species at low temperature. Seasonal community shifts occurred almost regularly, but the shift from a winter-spring community to an early summer one occurred 1 month early in 2007 when the water temperature was warmer than in other years.  相似文献

This study analyzes the mechanism of the landslide event at Hsiaolin Village during Typhoon Morakot in 2009. This landslide event resulted in 400 deaths. The extremely high intensity and accumulative rainfall events may cause large-scale and complex landslide disasters. To study and understand a landslide event, a combination of field investigations and numerical models is used. The landslide area is determined by comparing topographic information from before and after the event. Physiographic parameters are determined from field investigations. These parameters are applied to a numerical model to simulate the landslide process. Due to the high intensity of the rainfall event, 1,675 mm during the 80 h before the landslide event, the water content of soil was rapidly increased causing a landslide to occur. According to the survivors, the total duration of the landslide run out was less than 3 min. Simulation results indicated that the total duration was about 150 s. After the landslide occurrence, the landslide mass separated into two parts by a spur at EL 590 in about 30 to 50 s. One part passed the spur in about 30 to 60 s. One part inundated the Hsiaolin Village and the other deposited at a local river channel and formed a landslide dam. The landslide dam had height between 50 and 60 m and length between 800 and 900 m. The simulation result shows that the proposed model can be used to evaluate the potential areas of landslides induced by extremely high intensity rainfall events.  相似文献

We conducted a near-infrared imaging survey of 11 young dwarfs in the Pleiades cluster using the Subaru Telescope and the near-infrared coronagraph imager. Regeneration of a warm anticyclonic ring as a result of interaction with cold water masses was observed within the western subarctic gyre of the North Pacific. Satellite, profiling float, and shipboard observations revealed that a warm-core ring originated from the Kuroshio Extension, propagating northeastwards, entrained cold and fresh water masses from the coastal area of Hokkaido, which are typically recognized within the ring as water that is colder than 2.5 °C. The potential temperature and planetary contribution of potential vorticity of the cold water in the coastal area of Hokkaido were <2 °C and 15 × 10?11 m?1s?1, respectively, suggesting that it originated from the Sea of Okhotsk. After the intrusion, the warm core of the ring cooled, freshened, and contracted, while the outer and lower parts became occupied by the cold and fresh water; however, even after the cooling, the positive surface elevation and downward depression of the main pycnocline, typical of an anticyclonic ring, were still evident. The ring continued to propagate northeastwards, with the main part of its structure occupied by the cold water, but changed its direction of travel from northwest to west-southwest 8 months after the cold-water event, and was finally absorbed into another warm-core ring. It is suggested that these anticyclonic rings, which transported and mixed warm and cold water masses, play important roles in the cross-gyre exchange of subtropical and subarctic waters in the North Pacific.  相似文献

The formation processes of the late Neogene sedimentary basins in Northern Hokkaido have been investigated on the basis of rock magnetism, structural geology and numerical modelling. Untilted site‐mean directions of remanent magnetization of the Wakkanai Formation, obtained from oriented core samples in Horonobe, suggest remarkable counterclockwise block rotation (ca. 70°) since the late Neogene. Uniform microscopic fabric of the siliceous sediments was inferred from the alignment of the principal axes of the anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility (AMS). After correction for tectonic rotation, the maximum axis of AMS, which reflects the sedimentary fabric of the dominant paramagnetic minerals, is in an E‐W direction, which is concordant with the influx direction of diatomaceous particles into the N‐S elongate sedimentary basins. The difference in the bulk initial magnetic susceptibility of the siliceous sediments of the Wakkanai Formation between the depocenter of the basin and its peripheral part implies that terrigenous non‐magnetic fraction has been sorted out during transportation of the detrital grains as gravity flows. As for the development mechanism of the N‐S elongate late Neogene basins in Northern Hokkaido, their depocenter arrangement and subsidence pattern indicates dextral motions upon a longitudinal fault zone along the Eurasian convergent margin. Dislocation modelling was adopted to explain vertical displacement and rotational motion around the study area and successfully restored the deformation pattern based on the assumption of dextral slip at a left‐stepping part of a strand of the transcurrent fault.  相似文献

Sedimentary cores BDP 96 and 98 and VER 96-2 St. 3 from Academician Ridge in Lake Baikal were investigated to investigate the effect of climatic fluctuations on rock weathering and clay formation in the Baikal drainage basin. Illite, smectite, vermiculite, and kaolinite were identified as the major clay minerals in the sediments by X-ray diffraction analysis. Biotite in gravels in alluvial soils of the Baikal drainage area weathers through illite to vermiculite, smectite, and finally to kaolinite. To investigate the relationship between weathering and climate, we measured the clay content and the concentration of biogenic silica in the sediments. High surface productivity (increased biogenic silica) and high chemical weathering (decreased clay content) occurred simultaneously, showing that crustal weathering and soil formation were enhanced under warm climatic conditions.Clay formation was enhanced in the watershed from the Late Miocene to the Middle Pliocene, and mechanical weathering of rocks increased during glacial intervals after the climate began to cool in Late Pliocene time. This change in the weathering mode in the watershed reduced the nutrient flux and aquatic productivity of Lake Baikal.  相似文献

Abstract   Tectonic episodes in a sedimentary basin are described on the basis of an integrated study combining reflection seismic interpretation, drilling survey and paleomagnetism. A shallow inclined borehole penetrated a fault shown by reflection seismic and geological surveys in the Mizunami area, in the eastern part of southwest Japan. Paleomagnetic measurements were carried out on core samples successfully oriented using side-wall image logging of structural attitude. At six horizons, stable characteristic remanent magnetization (ChRM) was confirmed through thermal and alternating field demagnetization tests, which were carried by magnetite with minor amounts of high coercivity minerals, as revealed by experiments of stepwise acquisition of isothermal remanent magnetization. After correction of multiphase deformation inferred from borehole structural analysis, ChRM directions were combined with previous data and confirmed an easterly deflection reflecting the coherent clockwise rotation of the arc before the Middle Miocene. Compilation of reliable paleomagnetic data described differential rotation of the eastern part of southwest Japan raised by collision of the Izu–Bonin Arc since the Middle Miocene. The present study suggests that (i) the Mizunami area is adjacent to a highly deformed zone bounded by the Akaishi Tectonic Line (ATL), and (ii) forearc deformation of southwest Japan is localized around the ATL, which is quite different from gradual bending on the back-arc side without remarkable crustal break related to the collision event.  相似文献

Abstract A multi-offset hydrophone vertical seismic profiling (VSP) experiment was done in a 747 m deep borehole at Nojima Hirabayashi, Hyogo prefecture, Japan. The borehole was drilled to penetrate the Nojima Fault, which was active in the 1995 Hyogo-ken Nanbu earthquake. The purpose of the hydrophone VSP is to detect subsurface permeable fractures and permeable zones and, in the present case, to estimate the permeability of the Nojima Fault. The analysis was based on a model by which tube waves are generated when incident P-waves compress the permeable fractures (or permeable zones) intersecting the borehole and a fluid in the fracture is injected into the borehole. Permeable fractures (or permeable zones) are detected at the depths of tube wave generation, and fracture permeability is calculated from the amplitude ratio of tube wave to incident P-wave. Several generations of tube waves were detected from the VSP sections. Distinct tube waves were generated at depths of the fault zone that are characterized by altered and deformed granodiorite with a fault gouge, suggesting that permeable fractures and permeable zones exist in the fault zone. Tube wave analysis shows that the permeability of the fault gouge from 624 m to 625 m is estimated to be approximately 2 × 10−12 m2.  相似文献
