It is essential to determine the shear strength parameters c and φ on the sliding surface for stability evaluation and engineering design of a landslide. In this study, a new parameter back analysis method is proposed by combining the 2D/3D upper bound method of limit analysis and reliability theory to accurately determine the shear strength parameters for a 3D slope with a single failure surface. The proposed reliability back analysis method overcomes the shortcomings of the traditional deterministic analysis method of slope stability that cannot take into account the randomness and uncertainty of geotechnical parameters. Based on the reliability theory, two methods were studied: first-order reliability method (implemented by spreadsheet and Matlab, called spreadsheet method and constrained optimization method, respectively, in this paper) and Monte Carlo simulation. The optimized values of c and φ were obtained by establishing only one balance equation with the consideration of the pore water pressure or other complex conditions, which can solve the problem of the back analysis of strength parameters for a single 3D sliding surface condition. The correlation research showed that the negative correlation between c and φ greatly affected the back analysis results, and the reliability index values were conservative without considering such a negative correlation. A case study for the back analysis of shear strength parameters is conducted based on a practical landslide model with a broken line slip surface slope in Zhuquedong village, Luxi town, Xiangxi County, Hunan Province, China, and a suggestion for the selection of landslide cross section is presented. The results show that the back analysis results determined by the reliability theory coincide well with the survey and experimental results. The proposed method is found to be more accurate and effective in determining the values of shear parameters than that of the traditional deterministic inversion method.  相似文献

Subsequent rainfall after a strong earthquake can easily trigger landslides. Aerial photography is always available after a strong earthquake but not always available in a timely manner after a subsequent rainfall following the earthquake. Sometimes, only panchromatic imagery is available because of its relatively low cost and large cover capacity. To detect multi-temporal landslides induced by earthquake and its post long-term effect, in company of other factors such as subsequent rainfall, traditionally, it needs to carry out image classification multi-times to calculate the variance information. Therefore, the accuracy will be affected by accumulated errors from multi-classification, and the process is very time-consuming. In this paper, a new semi-automatic approach combing aerial photograph with satellite imagery was proposed for rapid mapping of multi-temporal landslides. The approach can enhance the change information of each landslide event in one detection process. In addition, slope units were introduced to separate the detected conjoint landslides. Chenjiaba area, which located in the highest seismic intensity zone of Wenchuan earthquake in Beichuan, China, and had a strong rainfall 4 months later, was selected as a case study to demonstrate the usefulness of this methodology. Accuracy assessment was carried out by comparing those extracted ones with a manually prepared landslide inventory map. Correctly detected were 90.1 and 94.2 % for earthquake-induced landslides and new landslides, respectively. 渤海辽东湾坳陷发育的大量正断层通过硬联接和软联接的形式发生了相互作用,并形成了丰富的转换带。根据正断层的倾向及其组合特征,将正断层软联接类型分为同向、对向和背向叠覆型三类,其形成的转换带类型相应分为转换斜坡、斜向背斜和地垒。发育在正断层叠置段内的转换带传递了正断层之间的伸展应变量,使其在三维空间里保持应变守恒。辽东湾坳陷转换带的形成演化主要经历了孤立正断层、转换带形成、转换带复杂化和转换带破裂等四个阶段。  相似文献

浅层地震反射波法和可控源音频大地电磁测量在铀矿勘查中各有优缺点。为了提高矿勘查提的效率,本文介绍了以可控源音频大地测量(CSAMT)为主、浅层地震反射波法为辅的综合物探方法在松辽盆地西南部铀矿勘查中的应用实例。通过CSAMT和浅层地震联合测量解释两条控盆断裂,查明四方台组和明水组顶底界面埋深约200~400m,呈椭圆形北东向分布,由盆地边部向凹陷中心地层由薄变厚;工作区基底埋深约700~1000m,呈宽缓波浪状展布;并对两种方法进行了对比分析:当勘探深度大于700m时,浅层地震反射波法对地层划分、查明基底埋深和基底断裂效果更好。经钻孔验证表明,合理利用CSAMT与浅层地震联合方法在松辽盆地西南部铀矿找矿工作中具有可靠、经济的优势,具有较强的应用价值。  相似文献
