Extensive compositional heterogeneity is shown to affect at least twenty four of the doped trace elements in the NIST SRM 610-617 glasses.
Compositional profiling and mapping using laser ablation ICP-MS reveals that all NIST SRM 610-617 wafers examined here contain domains that are significantly depleted in Ag, As, Au, B, Bi, Cd, Cr, Cs, Mo, Pb, Re, (Rh), Sb, Se, Te, Tl and W, and antithetically enriched in Cu (and Pt), with large enrichments in Cd, Fe and Mn also being encountered in some cases. These domains are visible in doubly polished wafers by unaided visual inspection and by transmitted light and schlieren microscopy. They occur in close proximity to the wafer perimeters and also as stretched and complexly folded forms within wafer interiors. The chemical and optical properties of these heterogeneous domains are consistent with those of compositional cords, a phenomenon of glass manufacture where glass bulk composition and physical properties are modified by loss of volatile components from the molten glass surface. The NIST SRM 610-617 glasses may be considered reliable reference materials for microanalysis of only between one half and two thirds of the trace elements with which they were doped, including Be, Mg, Sr, Ba, Sc, Y, REE, V, Zr, Hf, Nb, Ta, Th, U, Ga, In, Sn, Co, Ni and Zn. These elements show no evidence of significant heterogeneity, indicating that the original glass constituents and possible residues remaining in the furnace from preceding glass batch fusions were well homogenised during manufacture. 相似文献

基于1960~2015年西安气象站点逐日最高温、最低温数据,采用RHtest软件对非均一化气温序列进行订正,进而选取16项极端气温指数,对西安极端气温变化特征进行分析。结果表明:① 由于气象站点迁移,西安气温资料存在非均一性,导致极端气温变化趋势被低估;② 全球变暖背景下,西安极端气温变化表现出:“快速增温与平稳波动并存,冷暖变化趋势相反,夜晚增暖趋势比白天明显,白天波动变化明显于夜晚,持续性高温事件变化不大,持续性低温事件大幅下降”的变化特征;③ 通过不同区域趋势变化对比、冷暖、昼夜变化关系对比发现,受城市热岛影响,西安极端低温事件减少更为突出,远高于中国其他对比区域(秦岭南北、黄土高原、东北地区等);④ 在昼夜变化上,西安极端气温变化与中国、全球变化具有一致性,但是通过冷暖指标对比发现,西安极端气温变化具有区域性,表现为冷昼日数下降高于暖昼日数上升,冷夜日数下降高于暖夜日数上升,冷持续日数和暖持续日数共同表现为下降趋势。 相似文献

采用标准正态检验(SNHT:Standard Normal Homogeneity Test)方法.对浙江省36个代表站1971~2004年的年平均风速资料序列进行均一性检验.结果表明:36站中有23个测站出现间断,其中因迁站原因造成非均一性的测站有13个,占非均一性总数的57%,环境变化原因有5个,占非均一性总数的22%;原因不明有3个,占非均一性总数的13%;测风仪高度变化、规定变更各为1个,占非均一性总数的4%.迁站是导致风速序列非均一性的主要原因. 相似文献

We report homogeneity tests on large natural apatite crystals to evaluate their potential as U reference materials for apatite fission‐track (AFT) thermochronology by laser ablation‐inductively coupled plasma‐mass spectrometry (LA‐ICP‐MS). The homogeneity tests include the measurements of major element concentrations by electron probe microanalysis (EPMA), whereas for U concentration, isotope dilution (ID) ICP‐MS and laser ablation (LA) ICP‐MS were employed. Two apatite crystals are potential reference materials for LA‐ICP‐MS analysis: a 1 cm3 fraction of a Durango crystal (7.5 μg g?1 U) and a 1 cm3 Mud Tank crystal (6.9 μg g?1 U). The relative standard deviation (1 RSD) of the U concentration determined by ID‐ICP‐MS of both apatite crystals was ≤ 1.5%, whereas 1 RSD for the LA‐ICP‐MS results was better than 4%, providing sufficient homogeneity for fission‐track dating. The results on the U homogeneity for two different apatite samples are an important step towards establishing in situ dating routines for AFT analysis by LA‐ICP‐MS. 相似文献

针对气象台站气温观测资料序列存在站址迁移可能造成的资料非均一性影响,利用环县等6个站址迁移气象站的逐年平均气温、平均最高气温、平均最低气温序列,采用SNHT(标准正态检验)客观分析方法,结合6个气象站的元数据及历史沿革资料等信息进行主观分析,对因迁站造成的气温序列不均一性进行检验,表明站址迁移对气温资料影响较大,并且因地理地形环境而有所差异。结果表明:台站迁移后造成新旧站址的地理环境差异显著且海拔高度差异过大,是引起气温序列非均一性的主要原因。地理环境、气候条件相似的台站迁移对气温资料的均一性无明显影响。 相似文献

为了弄清不同日平均计算方法对气温统计值的影响,利用陕西6个基准站的定时气温资料分别进行24次观测与4次观测,以及4次与3次观测值计算所得日平均气温计算值的差异分析,并对1961-2010年的3次、4次、24次计算的年平均气温序列进行均一性的惩罚最大F检验(PMFT).结果表明:24次气温定时值计算的日平均气温均值高于4次值,平均差值为0.13℃,标准差为0.39℃,两者差值在秋季较大.4次比3次日平均气温值平均偏低0.14℃,标准差为0.85℃,一年中,夏季差值最大.不同次数的日平均气温计算方法可引起月、年平均气温值0.2℃甚至以上的升降.24次气温值的使用可以使单站的气温增暖速率提高0.03~0.04℃/10a.但日平均气温计算方法的改变不会造成气温序列的非均一. 相似文献
