本文根据探空资料(TTAA),利用数值模式的客观和诊断分析结果、高空气象探测数据处理系统(T-lnp图)及天气图进行天气形势、物理量场的定量分析及单站气象要素的演变分析等对2000年4月4-6日两次沙尘暴天气过程进行了分析。结果表明:两次沙尘暴过程的形成是由于生成于蒙古地区的蒙古气旋进入东北后强烈发展,在华北、东北、内蒙南部地区形成大范围的强西北风而引起的。地面锋线及高空槽后都为偏北大风区,强劲的空中风使沙尘迅速向前方扩展。地面锋线与850、700、500hPa槽线上、下位置重合较好,槽后各层均存在大风区及下沉运动区,二者配合有利于高层动量下传,形成地面辐散大风直接导致了沙尘暴的形成。陡峭的锋面使得锋前有强励的上升气流,将沙尘粒子源源不断地输送到高空,使地面和空中沙尘连成一体。利用高空气象探测数据处理系统对探空资料(TTAA报)处理的结果表明:整层大气比较稳定,对流不易发展。近地面大气较干燥,无法形成降水,疏松的沙土易被大风扬起,这也是沙尘暴形成的主要原因之一。  相似文献

利用邕江洪峰水位、年最高水位资料及邕江流域气象测站逐月降雨量资料,对邕江洪水的特征进行分析表明,洪水多数发生在华南后汛期7~9月,并与流域夏季降雨量密切相关。利用NCEP/NCAR再分析资料以及NOAA卫星观测的OLR资料,分析邕江洪水形成的天气气候条件,研究结果表明:热带气旋影响是邕江发生洪水的主要原因。当西太平洋副热带高压位置偏北,邕江流域易受热带辐合带(ITCZ)影响,对流活跃,热带气旋活动频繁,此时邕江易发生洪水;地形对邕江洪水的形成有较重要的作用;邕江洪水易发生在赤道东太平洋海温为负距平的条件下。分析了邕江洪水气候成因。  相似文献

利用以 M M 4 为基础的自适应网格模式,对 1981 年月12 月 20 日 20 时—21 日 20 时一次太平洋西部气旋强烈爆发的过程进行了数值模拟研究得出:(1)气旋强烈爆发的过程是非常短暂的,是非地转调整的结果;(2)气旋爆发过程中基流由西南风转为准西风;(3)基流的反气旋性弯曲和非热成风空间分布不均匀性与气旋的强烈爆发有明显的联系。关键词:自适应网格,爆发性气旋,非地转调整,高空急流。  相似文献

This paper addresses the effects of randomness of initial damage in a rock mass and the critical tensile strain of the rock material on its dynamic responses and damage under explosive loads. A fuzzy definition is proposed to describe the fuzzy nature of failure phenomenon in a rock mass. The initial damage of the rock mass is estimated using the longitudinal and transverse elastic wave velocities. By using statistical analysis, the initial damage of the rock mass is found having the Beta distribution. The statistical estimation of a damage state and properties of randomly damaged rock mass are evaluated by the Rosenbluth's point estimate method. In numerical calculation, an isotropic continuum damage model with the initial damage and the cumulative damage dependent on an equivalent tensile strain is suggested to model the rock mass behavior under blast loads. A Beta distribution is proposed to represent the probabilistic distribution of the damage variable of the rock mass under explosive loads. Several types of membership functions are suggested to represent the fuzziness of material failure. Based on the fuzzy–random probabilistic theory, a model including both the effects of randomness and fuzziness is proposed for the failure analysis of rock mass under explosive loads. The suggested models are coded and linked with an available computer program AUTODYN2D through its user's subroutine capacity. The fuzzy failure probability and dynamic responses of the rock mass are calculated. Numerical results are compared with those obtained from independent field tests.  相似文献

Although the frequency of tropical cyclones is less in the Arabian sea compared to that of the Bay of Bengal, there are several severe tropical cyclones which caused extensive damage along the Gujarat coast. In view of the high tidal range in the funnel-shaped gulfs of the Khambhat and the Kachch, it is very useful to study the surge response in these regions. There is always a possibility of abnormal rise of sea level when the occurrence of surge coincides with high tide, which may eventually cause inundation of vast stretches of shallow coastal areas. In view of this, a location specific fine resolution model is developed for the Gujarat coast. The east-west and north-south grid distances for the model are 5.1 km and 5.2 km, respectively. Several numerical experiments are carried out to compute the extreme sea levels using the wind stress forcings representative of 1982, 1996, and 1998 cyclones, which crossed this region. The model-computed extreme sea levels are in good agreement with the available observations.  相似文献

历史热带气旋记录时间序列较短空间差异大,热带气旋灾害风险评估经常面临样本不足,特别是超强台风及巨灾记录历史样本的问题,从而导致传统概率统计方法失效。过去20多年来,逐渐发展出一套完整的方法体系进行热带气旋路径及强度随机模拟,其特点是充分利用历史总体样本信息,生成大量符合历史样本特征的热带气旋路径及强度随机事件样本集,从而有效地解决了局地历史样本不足的问题。在回顾热带气旋的年频次、季节分布、路径分布、强度及影响范围时空规律研究进展基础上,系统综述了用于热带气旋路径及随机模拟的起始点模型、行进模型、终止点模型、洋面强度模型、陆地衰减模型及结果检验方法等领域的进展及不足,然后对其在世界各地的应用进行了概述,并对未来研究改进方向及应用领域进行了展望。  相似文献

The problem of zonal jet formation and cyclone–anticyclone asymmetry in decaying rotating turbulence is addressed using both laboratory experiments and numerical simulations with a high-resolution shallow water model in a spherical geometry. Experiments are performed at different Rossby and Froude numbers and applying a rigid wall as meridional boundary in the numerical scheme to mimic the experimental apparatus. The formation of a zonally banded flow pattern, i.e. meridionally confined easterly/westerly jets, has observed; both experimental and numerical results confirmed that this tendency is favoured by high-planetary vorticity gradients. Also, in the experiments characterized by large rotation speeds and small Rossby deformation radius, an initial symmetric distribution of relative vorticity is found to evolve towards a dominance of anticyclonic structures, indicating a breaking of the cyclone–anticyclone symmetry. This aspect has deepened by numerically analysing the sensitivity of the temporal variations of the asymmetry index with respect to the position of the meridional confinement as well as the effect of relaxing the divergence of the fluid (i.e. non-divergent case) to zero. Results suggested that experiments characterized by the higher rotation speed and the lower fluid thickness are better reproduced by a divergent model with a high-latitude meridional boundary.  相似文献

 Tufi di Grotte dei Rossi Inferiori are thick ash deposits, representing the most voluminous stratigraphic unit on Vulcano Island. The deposits are related to hydromagmatic eruption which occurred under shallow water inside a caldera depression. Grain-size data and results of SEM investigation allow the character of the transporting medium, solid material concentration in the cloud during the lateral expansion, and the nature and role of the fluids present at the time of deposition to be constrained. We suggest that the eruption was characterized by closely timed hydromagmatic pulses giving rise to eruption clouds rich in water vapor and steam. The coarser material was not significantly transported in the eruptive cloud and it probably deposited in the caldera depression area. The finer material was extensively transported in the cloud, creating turbulent flows which surmounted the caldera rim barrier and dispersed in a southward direction, forming widespread deposits in the Piano area. Lower concentrated flows produced laminated deposits of more limited dispersion, whereas higher concentrated flows formed more dispersed thicker massive layers.
