The paper outlines an approach for improving the effectiveness and reliability of base isolation devices in civil engineering structures that undergo exceptional dynamic conditions.The strategy consists of designing the passive device in such a way to take into account the not-negligible soil–structure interaction effects. At this stage, the isolator is, then, designed in such a way to be optimally tuned on the basis of the characteristics of the structure and of the soil at the site. Anyway limits intrinsic in the effectiveness of the passive device cannot be completely overcome even when embedding in the design the influence of the soil filtering on the structural response. Therefore, at the second stage, an active vibration device is coupled to the basic isolator, which is, in turn, optimally designed for minimizing the structural response and control costs. The overall presented approach definitively produces an effective hybrid control base isolation, already optimized for the specific structure and soil in its passive component, and able to concentrate the active control effort only on the frequency ranges where it is required.  相似文献

This paper proposes a novel strategy for the investigation of displacement amplitude (|uy|) near and along an oblique-truncated semicircular canyon subjected to shear horizontal (SH) waves. Transfinite interpolation (TFI) was used to obtain the coordinates of nodes and determine the sequence of node numbering in the inner finite region including the canyon. The hybrid method, comprising finite element method and a Lamb series, was applied in conjunction with TFI to study the effects of canyon geometry, incident angle of SH waves (θ), and dimensionless frequency (η) on |uy|. We detailed the amplification of |uy| in the illuminated zone and variations in |uy| due to canyon-decay-effect along the canyon surface as well as the decay of |uy| resulting from the shield effect in the shadow zone. Interestingly, oblique-effects play an important role in the magnification of |uy| along the inclined bottom of canyons, and variations in θ and η dominate the patterns of |uy|.  相似文献

The Upper Cretaceous Bordighera Sandstone of NW Italy is a coarse-grained, sand-rich elongated turbidite system (ca. 15 × 45 km in outcrop) up to 250 m thick, interpreted to have been deposited in a trench setting. The siliciclastic succession interfingers with muddy calcareous turbidites, which become more abundant toward the lateral and distal domains. Bed type associations allow the distinction of a proximal channelized domain which transitions to a more distal lobe domain, characterized by abundant mudclast-rich sandstones and by bipartite and tripartite beds with a mud-rich middle or upper division (hybrid event beds). The transition between the proximal and distal domains occurs over a relatively limited spatial extent (ca. 5 km). The presence of lenticular bed-sets made up of coarse grained and mud-poor sandstones throughout the distal domain suggests that distributary channels were present, indicating sediment bypass further down-dip toward the most distal and not preserved parts of the system. Hybrid event beds - commonly associated with distal and marginal fan environments such as fan fringes - are present throughout the lobe domain and extend for up to ca. 30 km in down-dip distance. They are more abundant in the proximal and axial depositional lobe domain and their appearance occurs within a short basin-ward distance from the inferred channel-lobe transition zone. Flow expansion at the termination of the channelized domain and the enhanced availability of cohesive substrate due to the presence of intra-basinal muddy calcareous beds are interpreted as the key controls on the widespread occurrence of mudclast-rich and argillaceous sandstone beds. The abrupt appearance and the persistent occurrence of such beds across an extensive domain have implications for characterizing bed-scale (sub-seismic) heterogeneity of deep-water clastic hydrocarbon reservoirs.  相似文献

针对深井沿空留巷充填体常向巷道空间发生移动,分析深井复合顶板条件下充填体水平位移特征,计算顶底板对充填体的摩擦力和基于弹性地基梁理论下的采空区冒落矸石对充填体的水平挤压力。基于淮南矿区顾桥矿1115(1)工作面轨道顺槽典型深井复合顶板条件下沿空留巷工程地质条件,建立充填体力学计算模型,得到深井复合顶板条件下沿空留巷充填体内移表达式。结果表明,(1)由于复合顶板裂隙发育,垮落后具有较好的流动性,在关键块旋转下沉过程中容易对充填体产生水平挤压力,且复合顶板能够较大程度吸收关键块旋转下沉施加的给定变形,底板不易插底,充填体更易发生内移;(2)理论计算充填体位移量为0.38 m,实测位移量为0.5 m,二者能够吻合,验证了研究成果的正确性。根据充填体内移特点,提出抗剪锚杆等措施增加充填体和顶底板摩擦因数和在靠近充填体的采空区侧设置隔离桩的控制技术。  相似文献

基于切顶卸压自动成巷技术原理,分析了沿空切顶巷道顶板结构演化过程,得出厚煤层快速回采切顶成巷围岩应力、位移传递机制,形成了人为主动构建“基本顶上位岩层-采空区碎胀矸石-巷道切顶短臂梁”围岩稳定结构的控制思路。提出厚煤层快速回采沿空切顶巷道围岩协同控制体系,以“恒阻大变形锚索+墩式单元支架”控制顶板,以“滑移式让位护帮结构+自移式动压防冲结构+波浪式多阻护帮锚杆”控制帮部,形成了应对顶板结构位态、碎石运动状态变化的针对性控制技术。以柠条塔煤矿S1201胶运顺槽为工程背景,完成了厚煤层快速回采条件下切顶卸压无煤柱自成巷现场工业性试验。研究表明,采高增大、采速加快后,基本顶上位岩层易引发少量不宜强制控制的回转变形,支护结构可控让位是构建围岩稳定结构的有效途径之一;巷内压力与采空区矸石运动状态密切相关,增强预裂效果有利于减少动压冲击;成巷过程中巷道顶压首先达到恒阻状态,而后位移趋于稳定,最后形成围岩稳定结构。所设计的配套支护结构可有效协同围岩运动,留巷效果良好。  相似文献

地球物理反问题线性化处理之后, 各种反演算法归结为对病态线性方程组的求解. 为了快速准确地计算出地球物理参数, 本文提出了一种全新的基于LSQR算法的混合差分进化算法(Hybrid Differential Evolution Algorithm, HDE). 该算法利用LSQR算法给出DE算法的初始种群, 提高DE算法的计算速度和稳定性. 在不同噪声水平下, 对四种正则化方法Tikhonov、TSVD、LSQR和HDE的反演结果进行详细比较. 理论模型和实际数据反演的结果都表明: 改进的HDE算法应用于地球物理反问题的求解是成功的: 反演结果与原设定模型具有较高的相关性, 在稳定性和准确性上较常规的反演算法都具有一定的优势; 而且不需要给定正则化参数, 具有更强的实用性.  相似文献

When evaluating water quality, the influence of physical weight of the observed index is normally taken into account, but the influence of stochastic observation error (SOE) is not adequately considered. Using Monte Carlo simulation, combined with Shannon entropy, the Principle of Maximum Entropy (POME) and Tsallis entropy, this study investigates the influence of stochastic observation error (SOE) for two cases of the observed index: small observation error and large observation error. Randomness and fuzziness represent two types of uncertainties that are deemed significant and should be considered simultaneously when developing or evaluating water quality models. To that end, three models are employed here: two of the models, named as model I and model II, consider both the fuzziness and randomness, and another model, considers only fuzziness. The results from three representative lakes in China show that for all three models, the influence of stochastic observation error (SOE) on water quality evaluation can be significant irrespective of whether the water quality index has a small observation error or a large observation error. Furthermore, when there is a significant difference in the accuracy of observations, the influence of stochastic observation error (SOE) on water quality evaluation increases. The water quality index whose SOE is minimum determines the results of evaluation.  相似文献

We present the results of a study of the Vena del Gesso Basin (Romagna Apennines, Italy) integrating field analyses and analogue modelling. This basin represents one of the best‐preserved top‐thrust basins in the Northern Apennines foreland and is one of the few examples where primary evaporites, related to the Messinian salinity crisis of the Mediterranean, widely crop out. The structural style affecting the Messinian gypsum is examined to get insights into the mechanism responsible for the overall deformation features recognizable in the area. The evaporites are completely detached at the base and widespread back‐thrusts, repeatedly doubling these deposits, strongly contrast with the regional forelandward vergence of structures in the Apennines. On the basis of the comparison between field data and experimental results, the features characterising this area can be described as the result of the deformation linked to the sequential activation of an obliquely propagating passive‐roof duplex. Analogue models evidenced the major role played (1) by syntectonic erosion that promoted the development of passive‐roof duplex style, as well as (2) the role of décollement level pinch‐out that determined an oblique progression of deformation. Finally our data lead to reconsider the palaeoenvironmental reconstruction concerning the onset of the Messinian salinity crisis in the Mediterranean.
