Hydrogen recombination lines near 327 MHz−II: A Galactic plane survey with a 2°×6′ beam

In a previous paper we presented a low-resolution (2°×2°) survey of radio recombination lines (RRLs) at 327 MHz in the longitude rangel=330° to 0° to 89°. In this paper, we present the results of a higher resolution (2°×6′) survey of RRLs from seven 2°-wide fields and two 6°-wide fields in the same longitude range. Observations were made using the Ooty Radio Telescope (ORT). A total of 252 spectra that were obtained are presented. RRLs were detected in almost all the individual positions within the fields withl<35° and at several individual positions within the fields in the longitude rangel=35° to 85°. Detailed analysis of the data towards the field centered at G45.5+0.0, shows that the line emission consists of discrete zones of ionized gas. The angular extent of these zones are likely to be one degree or more corresponding to a linear size of >110 pc at the kinematic distance.  相似文献

根据对华东地区9次强对流天气的地面风场分析发现,强对流的发生发展与锋前暖区的中尺度辐合线有密切关系,与地面中尺度辐合线相伴的扰动辐合值为-0.8×10~(-4)·s~(-1)左右.当有移动的天气系统与其相遇时,交点附近扰动辐合值迅速增大,促使对流迅猛发展且移速加快.辐合线的形成与大尺度背景和特定地形有关.移动的中尺度辐合线与变压风有关而静正辐合线常与露点锋相伴.  相似文献

在ＤＣＳ输出的地籍图上，有许多由直线段和曲线段组成的地物符号，用传统方法处理难以取得理想的绘图效果。本文在分析ＤＣＳ数据结构和属性码的基础上，提出了曲线部分按三次参数样条曲线逼近，讨论了直线段和曲线段的各种组合情况，并且通过正确地选择边值条件使二者之间．的连接比较符合实际。最后扼要分析了该类线段按虚线绘出时的处理方法。  相似文献

鉴于我国目前正面临着本世纪第五个地震活动期,探索地震的发生规律,是个很重要的地学问题。作者在前期工作的基础上,提取了不同分量、不同阶次的区域地磁异常的特征线,并对比了 ２０ 世纪以来大地震（ Ｍｓ≥６０）的分布,发现大地震多数分布在特征线上,特别是交叉点处。说明这些特征线反映了地壳深部构造特征,故对中、长期地震预报将起到重要作用。  相似文献   

Optical depth effects on the formation of spectral lines in rotating and expanding spherical atmospheres

We have investigated the effects of increasing optical depths on spectral lines formed in a rotating and expanding spherical shell. We have assumed a shell whose outer radius is 3 times the inner radius, with the radial optical depths equal to 10, 50, 100, 500. We have employed a constant velocity with no velocity gradients in the shell. The shell is assumed to be rotating with velocities varying as 1/_ρ, where_ρ is the perpendicular distance from the axis of rotation, implying the conservation of angular momentum. Two expansion (radial) velocities are treated: (1)V = 0 (static case) and (2)V = 10 mean thermal units. The maximum rotational velocities areV _rot = 0, 5, 10 and 20. In the shell where there are no radial motions, we obtain symmetric lines with emission in the wings forV _rot = 0 and 5 while forV _rot ≥ 10 we obtain symmetric absorption lines. In the case of an expanding shell, we obtain lines with central emission.  相似文献
