Measurements and Modelling of the Wind Speed Profile in the Marine Atmospheric Boundary Layer 总被引:1,自引:1,他引:0
We present measurements from 2006 of the marine wind speed profile at a site located 18 km from the west coast of Denmark
in the North Sea. Measurements from mast-mounted cup anemometers up to a height of 45 m are extended to 161 m using LiDAR
observations. Atmospheric turbulent flux measurements performed in 2004 with a sonic anemometer are compared to a bulk Richardson
number formulation of the atmospheric stability. This is used to classify the LiDAR/cup wind speed profiles into atmospheric
stability classes. The observations are compared to a simplified model for the wind speed profile that accounts for the effect
of the boundary-layer height. For unstable and neutral atmospheric conditions the boundary-layer height could be neglected,
whereas for stable conditions it is comparable to the measuring heights and therefore essential to include. It is interesting
to note that, although it is derived from a different physical approach, the simplified wind speed profile conforms to the
traditional expressions of the surface layer when the effect of the boundary-layer height is neglected. 相似文献

The fishing industry has been facing problems related to catch yields, predatory competition and economic collapse. Management should be based on substantial scientific studies and the state's ability to implement these. In Brazil, the surface longline fishery has been in existence since the 1950s, and remains of great economic importance. This study analyzes 179 legal instruments (1934–2014), divided into restrictive, administrative and promotional, comparing with catches landed (1996–2011). The results show that there was a complete disrespect for the regulations, wherein fleets continued landing prohibited or size limited species, such as Kajikia albida, Makaira nigricans, Alopias superciliosus, A. vulpinus, Carcharhinus longimanus, Galeorhinus galeus and Xiphias gladius. Furthermore, divergent regulatory provisions have hindered understanding/implementation of regulations by all those involved. Being a country of continental proportions and with different longline fisheries along the coast, conducting scientific studies and the development of normative approaches becomes a huge challenge. In a dynamic activity such as fishing, the constant review of these regulations will allow fisheries management to become more accurate and in accordance with the aspirations of the different interests involved. Despite the surface longline fishery having operated for 60 years in Brazil, the existence of incongruous laws makes the management and control of this activity incompatible with the conservation of species. The lack of regulations governing this fishery creates a "gap", increasing the risk of extinction of species (target and bycatch) and the future collapse of this activity. 相似文献

An analytical method has been proposed to predict the ultimate uplift capacity of single vertical piles embedded in sand considering
arching effect. The present analysis takes into consideration of various pile and soil parameters such as length (L), diameter (d) of the pile, angle of internal friction of soil (ϕ), soil pile friction angle (δ) and unit weight of soil (γ). A modified value of coefficient of lateral earth pressure in uplift has been developed considering the arching effect of
soil. A comparative assessment of the uplift capacity of piles predicted by using proposed theory and the existing available
theories is made with the existing field and model test results. It has been observed that the present model considering the

On the basis of data constructed with large-eddy simulation (LES), an attempt is made to improve the Mellor–Yamada (M–Y) turbulence closure model. Firstly, stably-stratified and convective planetary boundary layers without moisture are simulated by a LES model to obtain a database for the improvement. Secondly, based on the LES data, closure constants are re-evaluated and a new diagnostic equation for the master length scale L is proposed. The new equation is characterized by allowing L in the surface layer to vary with stability instead of constant kz, where k is the von Kármán constant, and z is height.The non-dimensional eddy-diffusivity coefficients calculated from the modifiedM–Y model are in satisfactory agreement with those from the LES data. It isfound that the modified M–Y model improves the original one largely, and thatthe improvement is achieved by considering buoyancy effects on the pressurecovariances andby using the newly proposed equation for L. 相似文献

Length-of-day (LOD) estimates from seven Global Positioning System (GPS) and three satellite laser ranging (SLR) analysis
centers were combined into an even-spaced time series for a 27-month period (1996–1998). This time series was compared to
the multi-technique Earth-orientation-parameter (EOP) combined solution (C04) derived at the Central Bureau of the International
Earth Rotation Service (IERS/CB). Due to inhomogeneities in the different series derived from the various techniques (time,
length, quality, and spatial resolution), the concept of a combined solution is justified. The noise behavior in LOD for different
techniques varies with frequency; the data series were divided into frequency windows after removing both biases and trends.
Different weight factors were assigned in each window, discriminating by technique, and produced one-technique combined solutions.
Finally, these one-technique combined solutions were combined to obtain the final multi-technique solution. The LOD combined
time series obtained by the present method based on the frequency windows combined series (FWCS) is very close to the IERS
C04 solution. It could be useful to generate a new LOD reference time series to be used in the study of high-frequency variations
of Earth rotation.

为掌握我国限额捕捞物种海州湾中国毛虾(Acetes chinensis)的资源动态,于2020、2021年6~7月分别采集了1 094、1 700尾中国毛虾样本,测定其体长、体质量和性别等特征,并运用FiSATⅡ软件对生长、死亡参数及资源利用水平等进行评估。结果显示:2020、2021年限额捕捞期间其平均体长分别为32.30、35.73 mm,雌雄性比分别为1.52︰1、1.62︰1,体长大于35 mm的毛虾中雌性比例分别为98.5%、90.0%,并得出了体质量-体长关系式;2020、2021年自然死亡系数(M)分别为0.55、0.61 month–1,捕捞死亡系数(F)分别为0.62、0.27 month–1;2020、2021年开捕体长(Lc)分别为26.28、29.73 mm,均小于最适开捕体长(Lopt) 33 mm;2020、2021年资源开发率(E)分别为0.53、0.31,均小于当年E0.1 (0.60、0.77),表明海州湾中国毛虾资源尚未过度捕捞。鉴于我国实施... 相似文献

The in-depth investigation of fractured reservoirs is mainly limited to geophysical data that is in 3D and mostly on the scale of hundred meters to several kilometers or boreholes data that is in 1D and at meter to lower scale. The study of outcropping analogues of buried reservoirs is therefore a key tool for the characterization of the fault and fracture network at the reservoir scale. Tamariu granite has been the subject of this study with the aim to analyse faults and fractures from seismic to borehole scale. With the combination of satellite picture at different resolution and field study, we perform a statistical analysis focused of the length and orientation from infra centimeter crack to hundred kilometer length fault. On the whole range of scale studied, i.e. on 7 orders of magnitude, we have defined a length distribution following a power-law with an exponent a = −2. On the contrary to the length that can be modelled with a unique law, the orientation data shows a variation depending on the scale of observation: as the fault and fracture sets are suitable from the regional faults to the centimeter crack, the proportion of the sets varies at each scale of observation. 相似文献

利用核糖体第一内转录间隔区(ITS1)对舌鳎亚科(Cynoglossinae)6种鱼类进行系统分析,发现舌鳎亚科ITS1区具有明显的序列长度多态性(404—744bp),序列长度分为三种类型,分别为404—405bp、462—463bp以及741—744bp,同一长度类型的不同种类间序列高度相似,平均遗传距离分别为0.00248、0.00217和0.00169,而不同类型间序列差异显著,平均遗传距离最小为0.38453。分析表明,序列长度多态性可能与物种分化时间有关。采用NJ(neighbour-joining)法及MP(maximum parsimony)法构建分子系统树,结合形态学特征及GenBank中的线粒体DNA序列进行分析,表明紫斑舌鳎(Cynoglossus purpureomaculatus)与短吻三线舌鳎(C.abbreviatus)可能为同物异名。另外,舌鳎属(Cynoglossus)的中华舌鳎(C.sinicus)与须鳎属(Paraplagusia)的日本须鳎(Paraplagusia japonica)聚为一支,舌鳎属中三线舌鳎亚属(Areliscus)的长吻红舌鳎(C.lighti)与拟舌鳎亚属(Cynoglossoides)的少鳞舌鳎(C.oligolepis)聚为一支,与形态分类学的观点不一致,值得进一步研究。 相似文献
