对纳尔逊冰帽3个地点浅层粒雪/冰芯的晶体组构测量表明,冰晶c轴在冰帽表面具有优势方位,20m深度内普遍出现双扇形组构,在20-30m深度具有向单极大型变化的趋势。这与所报道的中低纬度山地温冰川上的晶体组构特征有明显不同。估计大量融水渗浸和再冻结作用对冰晶组构有重要影响,但详细机制尚不清楚  相似文献

我国华南扬子地台不同地区(湖北宜昌、安徽休宁)埃迪卡拉系底部的盖帽碳酸盐岩中均保存有浅色粘土岩层。岩石薄片和扫描电镜观察,以及X射线衍射分析表明,这些粘土岩层以伊利石和伊/蒙混层矿物为主,同时含有港湾状熔蚀石英、高温透长石及岩浆锆石等斑晶矿物。X荧光光谱仪和ICP-MS等离子质谱仪等地球化学元素分析表明,这些粘土岩层具有相似的元素组成和配分模式,以高K2O、低TiO2,富含Nb、Ta、Zr、Hf、Th、Y等亲石元素为特征,Al2O3/TiO2、Zr/Hf 和Ti/Th 值均指示了酸性火山灰的性质,同时稀土元素配分模式与花岗岩较为相似。岩石学和地球化学特征表明,这些浅色粘土岩层是火山喷发事件形成的钾质斑脱岩。通过两处剖面的对比,可以将安徽休宁地区的钾质斑脱岩年龄限制在大约635Ma左右。岩浆判别图指示了这些钾质斑脱岩的原始岩浆为高钾亚碱性流纹英安岩;依据微量元素特征和构造环境判别图,初步认为原始岩浆形成于大陆弧环境。这些钾质斑脱岩在区域上的分布,表明我国扬子地台埃迪卡拉纪早期发生了广泛的火山活动,“雪球地球”事件的结束可能是导致这期以钾质斑脱岩为代表的火山喷发事件的诱因。  相似文献

Tectonic fold tests conducted in Namibia demonstrate that the inclination with respect to bedding of geoplumb (palaeovertical) tubular structures in the Marinoan (635 Ma) syndeglacial cap dolostone is mainly the result of tectonic strain. Therefore, tubestone inclination data cannot be used to estimate the gradient of the sea floor on the foreslope of the Otavi carbonate platform during the Marinoan glaciation. A gradient steeper than 0·1 (slope angle ca 5·7°), implying a glacial base‐level fall ≥0·5 km, is nevertheless supported by boulder‐size intraclast debrite in the falling‐stand wedge directly beneath the glacigenic sequence. Cryogenian oceans lacked skeletal carbonate production, raising the carbonate saturation state and persistent deep water anoxia excluded acid‐producing aerobic respiration, facilitating early diagenetic carbonate precipitation, lithification and steep submarine slopes.  相似文献

以四川盆地南部范店、岩孔、三汇场三个野外露头剖面的寒武系白云岩样品为研究对象,通过对白云石有序度、碳氧同位素、稀土元素、包裹体等地球化学特征的分析,认为研究区主要发育同生期微晶白云石(岩)、细-粉晶白云石、浅埋藏细晶白云石、以及鞍状白云石等四种类型,其中:微晶白云石(岩)、细-粉晶白云石的有序度较低,具有与同时期正常海相碳酸盐岩相近似的δ18O值,稀土元素配分模式近似一致,表现为具有LREE弱富集、HREE弱亏损的特征,这揭示了白云石化流体主要来源于高盐度海水,为蒸发泵白云石化、渗透回流白云石化作用的产物;而细晶白云石的有序度相对较高,稀土元素出现贫化迁移现象,∑REE值有所减少,推断为埋藏白云石化作用的产物;鞍状白云石的有序度高、δ18O值低,稀土元素富集,Eu具有正、负异常,包裹体均一化温度呈异常高值,呈双区间分布,表征白云石化流体来源于深部热液流体,可能为热液白云石化作用的产物。  相似文献

A laboratory geochemical study was conducted using a drill core sample of cap rock from the Surat Basin, Australia, to investigate the effect of NO2 contained in the CO2 gas exhausted from the oxyfuel combustion process (oxyfuel combustion CO2) on the cap rock. A gas (CO2 containing NO2) was prepared to simulate the exhaust gas produced from the oxyfuel combustion process. Two types of gases (pure CO2 and CO2 containing SO2) were also prepared as reference gases. The effect of NO2 on cap rock was studied experimentally using these gases. No differences in the amounts of leached ions and pH changes for CO2 containing NO2 (36 ppmv), pure CO2, and CO2 containing SO2 (35 ppmv) existed. The pH values decreased immediately after CO2 gas injection but increased with time as a result of mineral buffering. Leaching of Fe, Mg, Ca, and K was suggested to have occurred as the result of dissolution of Fe-chlorite, prehnite and illite-smectite mixed layer clay in the shale sample. The amounts of Ca, Fe, and Mg leached with CO2 containing NO2 (318 ppmv) were higher than those for pure CO2. For the mixture containing 318 ppmv NO2, the pH increased more than that for the other gas conditions immediately after the pH fall at the start of the experiment, because oxidation-reduction reactions occurred between Fe2+ and NO3. Moreover, the results indicated that some of the leached Ca and Fe were deposited on the shale sample because of the pH increase. Therefore, we concluded that the effects of NO2 on mineral dissolution and pH changes of formation water are negligible when oxyfuel combustion CO2 containing about 30 ppmv of NO2 is injected into an underground aquifer. In addition, even if about 300 ppmv NO2 is accidentally injected into the underground aquifer, mineral dissolution is suppressed due to the buffering of pH decrease after gas injection.  相似文献

Detailed investigations of dolomite fault rocks, formed at shallow crustal depths along the Salzach–Ennstal–Mariazell–Puchberg (SEMP) fault system in the Northern Calcareous Alps, revealed new insights into cataclasite formation. The examined Miocene, sinistral strike-slip faults reveal grain size reduction of dolomite host rocks by tensile microfracturing at a large range of scales, producing rock fragments of centimetre to micrometre sizes. In situ fracturing leads to grain size reduction down to grain sizes <25 μm, producing mosaic breccias and fault rocks which have previously been described as “initial/embryonic” and “intermediate” cataclasites. At all scales, grain fragments display little to no rotation and no or minor evidence of shear deformation. The observed microstructures are similar to those previously described in studies on pulverized rocks. Microstructural investigations of cataclasites and mosaic breccias revealed aggregations of small dolomite grains (<50 μm) that accumulated on top of large fragments or as infillings of V-shaped voids between larger grains and show constant polarity throughout the investigated samples. Fabrics indicate deposition in formerly open pore space and subsequent polyphase cementation. The newly described tectonic geopetal fabrics (geopetal-particle-aggregates, GPA) prove that these faults temporarily passed through a stage of extremely high porosity/permeability prior to partial cementation.  相似文献

库车坳陷是在地壳或者岩石圈尺度整体挤压作用下,收缩构造变形形成的一个构造单元,膏盐岩层等软弱岩层可能导致滑脱断层发育,并引起盐上和盐下不协调收缩变形,区域挤压作用下一些先存基底断裂带的逆冲位移是控制盐上层冲断褶皱变形的主要因素。运用地震资料、地表露头、钻测井资料以及非地震资料等,对库车坳陷区域大剖面的盐上层、盐下层的构造变形样式进行分析,认为南天山在挤压收缩变形中隆升,诱导盆山过渡带发育基底卷入的高角度逆冲断层,先前基底断层的复活影响了盆地沉积盖层的构造变形,基底断裂与盖层断层组合样式在走向上基本一致,盖层强变形带与基底断裂带上下呼应。  相似文献

古城地区是塔东探区的重点勘探区块,下奥陶统鹰三段是塔东探区首要的勘探层系。探寻多期热液作用改造后的优质白云岩储层是扩大研究区勘探成果的关键。本文在储层岩石学特征判识的基础上,应用U-Pb同位素定年技术,结合碳氧锶镁同位素和稀土元素分析测试,分析了热液性质,明确了热液作用发生的确切时期及期次,探讨了热液作用对白云岩储层的影响。研究结果表明,古城地区鹰三段白云岩储层发育准同生-浅埋藏海水成因的粉晶-中晶白云岩及热液作用产物。热液作用可划分为二期:第一期为中-晚奥陶世贫镁热液,表现为鞍状白云石充填缝洞及重结晶次生加大的粗晶白云石,U-Pb测定年龄为464±12Ma到473.9±9.1Ma,氧同位素值比早奥陶世正常海相白云石明显偏负,锶同位素比值明显高于早奥陶世海水值,稀土元素Eu正异常,锶、铁、镁元素含量低;第二期为晚奥陶世-早志留世钙质热液,表现为方解石充填缝洞及对先存白云石的溶蚀,U-Pb测定年龄为448±15Ma到457.4±6.6Ma,氧锶同位素组成严重偏离同时期正常海相白云石范围,轻稀土元素明显富集,Eu正异常,锶、钙元素含量高,锰元素含量低。第二期热液作用是白云岩储层溶蚀的关键,同期NNE向断裂带作为其输导系统,是优质储层发育的有利部位,为有利区带预测提供依据。  相似文献

Whilst the relationship between stratigraphic development and carbonate cementation within siliciclastic succession has been documented through a number case studies, these studies have been generally restricted to observations upon individual sequences and/or limited sub-surface data. In this paper, long-term (5 million years), large-scale (>200 km) stratigraphic controls on carbonate cementation patterns are documented from the Upper Cretaceous Panther Tongue Member, Blackhawk Formation and Castlegate Sandstone exposed in the Book Cliffs in Utah and Colorado, USA. Together, these comprise eight progradational wedges of sandstones, which interfinger with the Mancos Shale, deposited within the Western Interior Seaway foreland basin. Petrographic analyses of ferroan dolomite cement bodies within these sandstone wedges show that the ferroan dolomite cements are all early, relative to burial diagenesis within the host sandstones. Stable isotope analyses indicates that a significant meteoric component was present in precipitating fluids and this is consistent with the observation that cements, are always present down-dip of sequence boundaries and/or leached whitecaps beneath coals. In addition, the lateral distribution of cement bodies increases consistently up-succession from less than 5 km in extent in the older sequences, to 30 km in extent in the youngest sequences. These changes in distribution are in response to the increased progradation and increased and more aerially extensive sequence-boundary development in younger sequences. The implications of these data are that whilst localized spatial patterns of diagenesis, and in particular carbonate cementation, are predictable and controlled by the nature and presence of individual stratal surfaces, systematic diagenetic alteration patterns are also present at the sedimentary basin scale and controlled by the nature of larger-scale stratigraphic development and basin evolution. This evolution may be driven by eustatic shifts, or through tectonic or climatic driven base-level shifts. These observations allow an improved insight into the basin-scale processes that control the macroscopic diagenetic properties of sedimentary successions and sub-surface hydrocarbon reservoirs.  相似文献

黄河大柳树坝区构造属加里东期形成的地槽褶皱系,其上由泥盆系—三叠系组成盖层,相应地形成地台型褶皱带。坝区发育盖层性断裂,切割较浅。坝区受夜明山马长梁背斜控制,岩层变形强烈,节理、裂隙发育,加之风化较深,岩体完整性差。鉴于坝区构造总体上连续而完整,变形破裂主要为原生,故仍不失其建坝条件。  相似文献
