The Palaeogene volcanic arc successions of the Sierra Maestra, southeastern Cuba, were intruded by calc-alkaline, low- to medium-K tonalites and trondhjemites during the final stages of subduction and subsequent collision of the Caribbean oceanic plate with the North American continental plate. U-Pb SHRIMP zircon dating of five granitoids yielded 206Pb/238U emplacement ages between 60.5±2.2 and 48.3±0.5 Ma. The granitoids are the result of subduction-related magmatism and have geochemical characteristics similar to those of magmas from intra-oceanic island-arcs such as the Izu Bonin-Mariana arc and the New Britain island arc, Lesser Antilles. Major and trace element patterns suggest evolution of these rocks from a single magmatic source. Geochemical features characterize these rocks as typical subduction-related granitoids as found worldwide in intra-oceanic arcs, and they probably formed through fractional crystallization of mantle-derived low- to medium-K basalt.  相似文献

新疆塔什库尔干碱性杂岩体主要由苦子干碱性正长岩体和卡日巴生碱性花岗岩体组成,是帕米尔地区最大的新生代碱性杂岩体。本文在岩相学和矿物化学的基础上,着重研究了苦子干岩体主要造岩矿物的种属、共生关系和结晶顺序。研究表明,苦子干岩体中的不同岩石类型系同源岩浆演化的产物;岩浆在整个演化过程中平衡结晶作用占主导,分离结晶作用的影响极小。据岩浆房中矿物结晶时的温度和压力条件、矿物的结晶特征及演化趋势,推测岩浆上升速度较快,侵位较浅。  相似文献

西藏曲水碰撞花岗岩地处冈底斯构造-岩浆带中部,呈东西向平行雅鲁藏布缝合带分布.该岩体以花岗闪长岩、石英闪长岩为主,其次为石英二长闪长岩.岩体内普遍发育微粒镁铁质包体.对花岗闪长岩、石英闪长岩及微粒镁铁质包体的成因矿物学研究结果显示:(1)斜长石发育环带且边缘和核部偏基性,幔部酸性;(2)斜长石斑晶边缘常含有角闪石、黑云母等暗色矿物包体;(3)钾长石X射线结构分析显示自核部向边缘温度呈现逐渐升高的特点;(4)长石矿物中普遍含有较高的Cr、Ni、Co元素,明显不同于壳熔花岗岩;(5)角闪石、黑云母矿物MgO含量高于典型壳熔花岗岩;(6)包体中发育针状磷灰石和角闪石,显示为岩浆淬冷的结果.上述特征不可能用正常岩浆分异作用来解释,而更可能是壳-幔岩浆混合作用的结果.采用矿物温压计所得到的结果也符合混合后的岩浆演化特征.  相似文献

对安庐石英正长岩带(AL)及姚村钾长花岗岩体(YC)的岩体地质、矿物岩石学,岩石化学,稀土元素、以及Sr、Pb、O同位素组成等一系列特征的研究表明,下扬子断裂坳陷带内花岗岩体的初始物质来源较深,系上地幔部分熔融产生的贫水偏碱岩浆沿深断裂上升侵位过程中同化混染了部分陆壳物质而成。据锶、铅同位素的二元混合模型计算,安庐岩带和姚村岩体的成岩物质中地幔组分分别占57%和52.8%,地壳组分分别为43%和47.2%。它们的成因系列应归属于壳幔混源型。  相似文献

遵循区域岩石圈系统的组成和状态制约区域各类地质—地球化学作用过程的性质和特征,以及各类地质—地球化学过程引起的物质分异和循环反映区域岩石圈发展和演化的构想,分析了秦巴地壳的化学和岩石组成特征及岩石圈的高热流状态,并据之阐明秦巴花岗岩类多具有Ⅰ型和Ⅰ—S混合型特征及该区缺乏与花岗岩类有关的典型岩浆期后热液矿床的原因,同时由该区花岗岩类岩石多具有黑云母组合和角闪石组合脱水熔融特征,揭示了多数花岗岩浆形成的较高熔融程度及有大量未经风化沉积旋回的岩浆岩加入了岩浆的源区,从而为秦巴上、下地壳化学成分差异小、物质分异弱找到了较合理的解释。本例表明在区域成岩和成矿研究中,区域岩石圈组成和状态的分析具有重要意义。  相似文献

The 1.1 Ga Natal Metamorphic Province (NMP) lies at the heart of a world-wide system of Grenville age mobile belts which welded early continental fragments into the Mesoproterozoic supercontinent of Rodinia. Structural analysis of the three tectonostratigraphic terranes in Natal reveals a kinematic history characterized by prolonged NE-SW plate convergence, manifested as early thrust tectonics and later pervasive sinistral transcurrent shearing. Consequently, superimposed on the Natal tectonostratigraphic terranes is a kinematic subdivision into tectonic domains which are characterized by shallow, south-west dipping foliations, south-west plunging stretching lineations and north-east verging recumbent folds, and by younger domains with subvertical shear fabrics, subhorizontal to oblique lineations and folding about near-vertical axes. Microtextural and petrographic analyses suggest that the later shearing took place under high temperature conditions of at least 500°C. The recorded kinematic indicators suggest that early subhorizontal compressional tectonics gave rise to tectonic thickening of the crust, progressively followed by oblique transcurrent shearing within a transpressional regime. The shearing event in the southern arc-related terranes was associated with the widespread emplacement of late kinematic rapakivi granite -charnockite plutons, with A-type granite geochemical characteristics. This orogenic event took place around 1100 Ma during prolonged NE-SW collisional convergence along the southern margin of the stable Archean foreland, which lay to the north.  相似文献

The rare earth element patterns of the gneisses of Bastar and Bundelkhand are marked by LREE enrichment and HREE depletion with or without Eu anomaly. The spidergram patterns for the gneisses are characterized by marked enrichment in LILE with negative anomalies for Ba, P and Ti. The geochemical characteristics exhibited by the gneisses are generally interpreted as melts generated by partial melting of a subducting slab. The style of subduction was flat subduction, which was most common in the Archean. The rare earth patterns and the multi-element diagrams with marked enrichment in LILE and negative anomalies for Ba, P and Ti of the granitoids of both the cratons indicate interaction between slab derived melts and the mantle wedge. The subduction angle was high in the Proterozoic. Considering the age of emplacement of the gneisses and granitoids that differs by ∼ 1 Ga, it can be assumed that these are linked to two independent subduction events: one during Archaean (flat subduction) that generated the precursor melts for the gneisses and the other during the Proterozoic (high angle subduction) that produced the melts for the granitoids. The high values of Mg #, Ni, Cr, Sr and low values of SiO2 in the granitoids of Bastar and Bundelkhand cratons compared to the gneisses of both the cratons indicate melt-mantle interaction in the generation of the granitoids. The low values of Mg#, Ni, Cr, Sr and high values of SiO2 in the gneisses in turn overrules such melt-mantle interaction.  相似文献

Abstract   The development of voluminous granitic magmatism and widespread high-grade metamorphism in Mid-Cretaceous southwest Japan have been explained by the subduction of a spreading ridge (Kula–Pacific or Farallon–Izanagi plate boundaries) beneath the Eurasian continent and the formation of a slab window. In the present study, the thermal consequences of the formation of a slab window beneath a continental margin are evaluated through a 2-D numerical simulation. The model results are evaluated by comparison with the Mid-Cretaceous geology of southwest Japan. Of particular interest are the absence of an amphibolite- to granulite-facies metamorphic belt near the Wadati–Benioff plane, and significant melting of the lower crustal-mafic rocks sufficient to form a large amount of granitic magma. Because none of the model results simultaneously satisfied these two geological interpretations, it is suggested that subduction of plate boundaries in Mid-Cretaceous southwest Japan was not associated with the opening of a slab window. According to previous studies, and the results of the present study, two different tectonic scenarios could reasonably explain the geological interpretations for Mid-Cretaceous southwest Japan: (i) The spreading ridge did not subduct beneath the Eurasian continent, but was located off the continental margin, implying the continuous subduction of very young oceanic lithosphere; (ii) ridge subduction beneath the continental margin occurred after active spreading had ceased. Consequently, in both tectonic scenarios, the subduction of plate boundaries at the Mid-Cretaceous southwest Japan was not associated with a slab window, but very young (hot) oceanic lithosphere.  相似文献

湖南芙蓉锡矿区是近年来新发现并正在进行勘查的新矿区,该矿区以锡矿产于花岗岩大岩体内部和潜在的巨大找矿潜力而引人注目,在野外初步调查的基础上,结合室内工作,认为芙蓉锡矿及其相关的岩浆岩在许多方面与众不同,如:产于岩体内部,蚀变花岗岩中浸染状石矿化,锡石-硫化物型及锡石-磁铁矿型等不同类型的矿化同时存在,绿泥石化发育且不同类型的锡矿化对应于不同的绿泥石成分,花岗岩类岩石低SiO2,高Sr等地球化学异常,本文主要探讨矿化及含矿岩体的某些地球化学异常并提出深部找铜的意见。  相似文献
