定律对知识的理解和传播具有极大的推动作用。本文通过对比地理学中的定律和物理学中的定律的异同之处,认为地理学的定律虽然在形式上和提出的方式上与经典的力学定律有所区别,但仍符合人们对“定律”的定义。在共识地理学定律存在的前提下,本文阐述了地理学的第一定律和第二定律中所体现出的地理学定律的特征——描述性和归纳性。基于这些对地理学定律所具有的特征的认识,本文首先介绍了Zhu等从空间推测的角度将所提出的地理学第三定律,即“地理环境越相似,地理特征越相近”,或称地理相似性定律。本文从普遍性、独立性和应用性3个方面探讨了地理相似性是否可以作为地理学的一个定律,认为地理相似性与地理学第一和第二定律相比,有着同样的普遍性,且与第一和第二定律所涉及的规律有着本质上的区别,在应用上可能解决第一和第二定律所面临的挑战,因此应可作为地理学第三定律。  相似文献

围绕中国科学院战略性先导科技专项"泛第三极环境变化与绿色丝绸之路建设"之子课题"热带印度洋环流动力与季风相互作用及其影响",从热带印度洋上层海洋环流、盐度变异对印度洋典型海气耦合过程的影响、印度洋海气相互作用及其对泛第三极水汽输送的影响方面回顾了热带印度洋环流动力与季风相互作用的研究进展.针对国内外研究发展的现状,提出热带印度洋上层经向、纬向、垂向流系间三维联动机制,海盆尺度热盐再分配对局地海-气模态变异的响应和反馈机制,热带印度洋典型海气耦合模态对泛第三极地区气候变化的影响机理等关键科学问题亟待解决.开展该子课题研究的最终目标是:全面认识和理解热带印度洋上层环流体系,加深印度洋海洋环流动力与海气相互作用及其对泛第三极经向水汽输送作用的理解,提高泛第三极地区气候预测水平,提升丝绸之路海上观测航道监测保障能力,从而为"一带一路"倡议和"21世纪海上丝绸之路"建设服务.  相似文献

在全球气候变化背景下, 第三极和北极地区积雪是地表最活跃的自然要素之一, 其动态变化对气候环境和人类生活产生重要影响。通过回顾第三极和北极积雪研究进展, 阐述了降雪、 积雪范围、 积雪日数、 积雪深度和雪水当量在第三极和北极地区的时空分布特征和变化趋势。结果表明: 近50年, 特别是进入21世纪以来, 第三极和北极地区降雪比率均呈下降趋势; 积雪范围、 积雪日数、 积雪深度、 雪水当量总体均呈减小趋势, 融雪首日有所提前。同时就积雪变化对生态系统与气候系统的影响进行了论述, 评估了积雪的反馈作用。通过总结第三极和北极积雪变化研究进展, 凝练研究中存在的不足和未来发展趋势, 为提升积雪对气候变化及经济社会发展影响的认识提供重要科学支撑。  相似文献

Traditional approaches in contact mechanics demand complicated search algorithms at the interface between the contacting bodies. Recently, a new contact method based on the concept of a third medium has been developed, which overcomes the drawbacks of conventional contact mechanics techniques. This new scheme is based on a space filling mesh, in which the contacting bodies can move and interact. The ability and accuracy of this method in predicting displacements, as well as the contact forces, is validated by solving selected numerical examples. The potential merits of this method for analysing geotechnical problems by the finite element method are addressed.  相似文献

This paper stresses the importance of bridging the conceptual gap between tourism research and economic geography. It explains why the tourism production system has been unable to avoid its peripheral position in economic geography. The paper then focuses on the structure and organization of the principal agents comprising the tourism production system and identifies the state's pivotal role as coordinator of these agents. Lastly, it highlights two under-researched issues relating to entreprcneurship and labor pools and makes recommendations for further research.  相似文献

Millicent Todd Bingham was the first and only woman to earn a Ph.D. in the Department of Geology and Geography at Harvard. A talented linguist, she published in the classic tradition of the French school of human geography. Her professional geographic career came to a halt when she elected to edit the poems and letters of Emily Dickinson, work originally begun by her mother, Mabel Loomis Todd. Bingham's efforts resulted in the publication of several books and articles fundamental to the Dickinson scholarship. She credits her geographic training for much of her literary success.  相似文献

The spatial distribution of snow cover on the central Arctic sea ice is investigated here based on the observations made during the Third Chinese Arctic Expedition. Six types of snow were observed during the expedition: new/recent snow, melt-freeze crust, icy layer, depth hoar, coarse-grained, and chains of depth hoar. Across most measurement areas, the snow surface was covered by a melt-freeze crust 2-3 cm thick, which was produced by alternate strong solar radiation and the sharp temperature decrease over the summer Arctic Ocean. There was an intermittent layer of snow and ice at the base of the snow pack. The mean bulk density of the snow was 304.01±29.00 kg/m3 along the expedition line, and the surface values were generally smaller than those of the subsurface, confirming the principle of snow densification. In addition, the thicknesses and water equivalents of the new/recent and total-layer snow showed a decreasing trend with latitude, suggesting that the amount of snow cover and its spatial variations were mainly determined by precipitation. Snow temperature also presented significant variations in the vertical profile, and ablation and evaporation were not the primary factors in the snow assessment in late summer. The mean temperature of the surface snow was 2.01±0.96°C, which was much higher than that observed in theinterface of snow and sea ice.  相似文献

基于声弹性理论,本文详细论述了利用交叉偶极子多频率相速度反演地层三阶弹性常数和地应力的理论及信噪比对反演结果的影响.定性和定量分析表明在速度应力方程中,不含三阶弹性常数项与含三阶弹性常数项相比对速度的影响可以忽略,由此只利用一次测井资料同时反演地应力和三阶弹性常数是一个严重病态的问题或一个不确定性问题.针对不同的反演模型,详细考察了信噪比对各自简化模型和精确模型反演结果的影响.数值模拟结果表明,利用一次测井采用精确模型反演全部四个参数方法受信噪比影响严重.而利用不同流体压力下的测井资料进行反演时可以采用简化模型取代精确模型以便简化计算和提高反演速度,因为简化模型和精确模型有着几乎相同的精度;同时,分步反演的方法可以较好地反演出原位地应力及三阶弹性常数.  相似文献

Based on teleseismic broadband data, mainly recorded from stationsof the Incorporated Research Institute for Seismology (IRIS) and theGräfenberg (GRF) array in Germany, the focal mechanism and thefocal depth of the largest earthquakes in northeastern Siberia in thetime interval 1976–1996 were determined. For 9 events the relativeanelastic attenuation of the shear wave with respect to the compressionalwave along the travel paths could be calculated. Using the slip vectorsfrom the best constrained focal mechanisms and additional slip vectorsfrom Jemsek et al. (1986) and Parfenov et al. (1988), we obtained the North American–Eurasian pole of rotation west of the Cherskii mountainsat 67.1° N, 132.3° E.The investigation shows that the extension of the Arctic Mid-Ocean Ridgeinto the continental shelf acts as a continental graben structure.Actually, the crustal extension is concentrated on the eastern LaptevSea area and the seismicity of the western part of the Laptev Sea canbe explained by the assumption of a separate microplate. In the continentsoutheast of the Laptev Sea a series of northwest trending depressions,known as the Moma `Rift', are observed. Although in this region elevatedheat flow, recent volcanism and a low crustal thickness were found (i.e.Duchkov and Sokolova, 1985; Devyatkin, 1985), there is only a poorcorrelation between the seismicity and the rift valleys. So the Momastructures seem to be related to an aborted rift structure.  相似文献
