The Taipingchuan Cu–Mo deposit is a recently discovered large porphyry deposit located in the north of the Derbugan metallogenic belt of northeastern China. The geochronological data of the deposit yielded a Late Triassic zircon U–Pb age of 202 ± 6 Ma from a granodiorite porphyry that hosts the Cu–Mo mineralization. Measured Re–Os isotopes of seven disseminated molybdenite samples yielded an isochron age of 200 ± 5 Ma with mean square of weighted deviates of 2.7, while those of seven veinlet molybdenite samples also produced an isochron age of 200.1 ± 2.5 Ma and mean square of weighted deviates of 3.3. These isochron ages show that a Cu–Mo mineralization event occurred at ca. 200 Ma. Based on regional tectonic evolution, we propose that the Late Triassic Cu–Mo mineralization of the host porphyry in the Derbugan metallogenic belt was mainly associated with the subduction of the Mongol–Okhotsk Ocean slab under the Ergun block, contrary to previous suggestion that it was related to the subduction of the Mesozoic Palaeo-Pacific plate.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Liaoning Province in China is an area known for the occurrence of numerous copper and/or molybdenum deposits of variable size. However, the age of mineralization and tectonic setting in this region are still a subject of debate. In this study we describe the geology of these deposits and apply zircon U–Pb and molybdenite Re–Os isotopic dating to constrain their ages and define the metallogenic epochs of this province. The Huatong Cu–Mo deposit yields molybdenite Re–Os model ages of 127.6–126.3 Ma and an isochron age of 127.4 ± 0.7 Ma. The Dongbeigou Mo deposit yields molybdenite Re–Os model ages of 132.6–127.1 Ma, an isochron age of 128.1 ± 5.1 Ma, and a zircon U–Pb age of 129.4 ± 0.3 Ma for the associated monzogranite. The granodiorite associated with the Wanbaoyuan Cu–Mo deposit yields a zircon U–Pb age of 128.4 ± 1.1 Ma; the plagiogranite associated with the Yaojiagou Mo deposit yields an age of 167.5 ± 0.9 Ma; and the biotite–plagioclase gneiss from the Shujigou Cu deposit yields an age of 2549.4 ± 5.6 Ma. These results, together with previous geochronology data, show that intense Cu–Mo porphyry and skarn mineralization were coeval with Early–Middle Jurassic and Early Cretaceous granitic magmatism. The former was associated with the orogeny that followed the collision of the Siberian and North China plates and the resulting closure of the palaeo-Asian Ocean, and the latter with rifting that followed the subduction of the palaeo-Pacific Plate and associated lithospheric thinning. Volcanogenic massive sulfide Cu deposit. mineralization took place much earlier, in the late Archaean, and was related to continent–continent collision, palaeo-ocean closure, the formation of a united continental landmass, bimodal volcanism, magma emplacement, and subsequent metamorphism and deformation of syn-collisional granites.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

The mechanisms triggering the emplacement of Cretaceous magmatic rocks related to Neo-Tethyan subduction in the southern Lhasa subterrane (SLT) remain controversial because geochronological, geochemical, and isotopic data from the Cretaceous magmatic rocks in the western portion of the SLT are lacking. This paper provides the first report indicating that the Dazhuqu hornblende gabbro and Xietongmen granite porphyry were generated in the Late Cretaceous (ca. 100 Ma and ca. 68 Ma, respectively) in the western portion of the SLT. The Dazhuqu hornblende gabbro is characterized by high MgO, Na2O, Cr, Co, and Mg# values, enrichment in light rare earth elements (LREEs) and large ion lithophile elements (LILEs), and depletion in high field strength elements with no Eu anomalies. The Xietongmen granite porphyry displays high SiO2, low MgO, Mg#, Cr, Co, and Ni, enrichment in LREEs and LILEs, flat heavy rare earth element (HREE) patterns and negative Eu anomalies. Zircons from the Dazhuqu hornblende gabbro and Xietongmen granite porphyry display high positive εHf(t) ranges from 11.79 to 14.91 and from 9.05 to 12.38, respectively. The Dazhuqu hornblende gabbro was produced by the partial melting of 12–15% garnet peridotite in the depleted mantle that was metasomatized by fluids released from the dehydrating subducted Neo-Tethyan oceanic slab. This magma was then emplaced at an upper crustal depth of 5.3–7.0 km. The Xietongmen granite porphyry was generated by the partial melting of underplated basaltic crust during the subduction of the Neo-Tethyan oceanic crust and formed in the presence of pyroxene, plagioclase, and minor hornblende in its magmatic source. In combination with previously published data from Cretaceous magmatic rocks in the SLT, our data suggest that the petrogenesis of the Dazhuqu hornblende gabbro was related to flat or low-angle slab subduction of the Neo-Tethyan oceanic crust during 109–97 Ma and that the formation of the Xietongmen granite porphyry was related to lithospheric delamination in the western portion of the SLT after ca. 68 Ma.  相似文献

江西铜厂斑岩铜(钼金)矿床是德兴斑岩矿集区最大的矿床.文章根据铜厂矿床发育的钾硅酸盐化、绢英岩化、青磐岩化蚀变组合特征,和已厘定的铜厂矿床脉体类型,选取代表不同蚀变矿化阶段的石英、黑云母、绢云母及绿泥石等,进行单矿物的H、O同位素测试.石英和黑云母单矿物O同位素,与石英、黑云母平衡流体的δ 18O 值和δD值联合示踪结果显示,铜厂矿床早期A脉(不规则疙瘩状A1脉、石英-黑云母A2脉和石英-磁铁矿A4脉)和中期B脉(矿物组合为石英-黄铁矿+黄铜矿±辉钼矿±斑铜矿)形成时,成矿热液均为岩浆流体来源,但B脉可能混入了少量大气降水;晚期低温D脉和碳酸岩脉(180~200℃)的成矿热液全部为大气降水来源.斑晶黑云母平衡水的δ 18O和δD值变化范围较大表明,黑云母形成时的热液系统主要为岩浆水,局部受区域变质水和大气降水的混染,也可能与少量黑云母斑晶受到后期绿泥石化、水云母化蚀变有关.绿泥石蚀变主要由岩浆流体作用形成,但混入了一些大气降水,导致其δ 18O值少量降低.绢云母平衡的水的δ18O值和δD值(4.6‰和-19.4‰)表明,绢云母是大气降水与千枚岩共同作用的结果.总体来说,铜厂矿床钾硅酸盐化、绿泥石化蚀变,以及钾硅酸盐化阶段形成的A脉和B脉,均由岩浆流体作用引起,大气降水在绿泥石化阶段进入蚀变-矿化系统,而绢云母化、晚期低温D脉和碳酸盐脉均是大气降水作用的产物.  相似文献

西藏甲玛斑岩矿床裂隙系统的初步研究及意义   总被引:10,自引:4,他引:6  
西藏甲玛铜多金属矿床是近年来在冈底斯成矿带内中东段找到的超大型斑岩矿床之一。根据甲玛矿区165个钻孔角岩中裂隙的统计结果,从平面上和垂向上研究甲玛斑岩矿床裂隙的分布特征及其与上覆围岩金属矿化强度之间的关系,认为整个矿区破裂裂隙疏密分布趋势明显,裂隙高密度区位于ZK1616—ZK3216一带,平均裂隙率达40条/m以上,最高可达82条/m;并以此为中心向四周发散,裂隙率逐渐降低。而上覆围岩(角岩)中的铜钼矿化强度同裂隙发育程度呈正相关,平面上裂隙高密度区对应的Cu品位值为0.2%~0.47%,对应的Mo品位值为0.03%~0.10%;垂向上裂隙发育程度与铜钼矿化同样具有很好的对应关系,即裂隙越发育,对应的金属矿化越好,且在角岩中具"上铜下钼"的矿化分带现象。此外,根据对矿区裂隙成因的初步讨论,提出了甲玛斑岩矿床裂隙系统的演化模式,并结合16号勘探线上裂隙产状变化的研究成果,进一步确定了甲玛深部隐伏斑岩体的位置。  相似文献

[摘 要] 杜家东坞钼矿床位于钦杭成矿带北东端绍兴夏履桥-萧山浦阳火山构造洼地,成矿与青 化山破火山口-龙角尖火山通道构造活动关系密切;钼矿化呈细脉浸染状赋存于火山通道周围的火山 (角砾)岩裂隙及断裂中,成矿与钾化、硅化、黄铁矿化、磁铁矿化蚀变关系密切;矿床成因类型为斑岩型 钼矿床。综合分析矿区成矿地质背景、矿化蚀变特征、地球物理特征及地球化学特征,认为在火山通道 环形张性断裂与北西向断裂裂隙带、低阻带及中低阻过渡高极化带、磁异常零值区、负值区或正负值交 界处等区域有望找到富矿体,龙角尖火山通道的深部有望找到小斑岩体,这说明在浙西北火山岩区具有 寻找斑岩型矿床的良好前景。  相似文献
