We report the zircon Hf-O isotopic data for mafic enclaves from the Taihang Yanshanian intermediate to felsic plutons, and use them, along with the petrological, whole-rock chemical and Nd-Sr isotopic data, to reveal the petrogenesis of mafic enclaves. Mafic enclaves show magmatic textures and are finer-grained than host rocks. 黄陵地区的基性岩墙群主要由辉绿岩脉和辉绿玢岩脉组成, 走向主要为NEE向, 少量为NNW向.元素地球化学显示其为形成于板内拉张环境下的亚碱性玄武岩特征, 其很低的Mg# 指示为岩浆高度演化的产物, 同时Nb、Ta的亏损和Pb的富集表明其受到地壳物质的混染, 这说明可能是在拉张环境下由先前被俯冲带流体交代的地幔源重熔的结果.根据前人的年代学研究结果, 它形成于770Ma左右, 可能跟Rodinia超级古陆裂解构造背景相关.   相似文献

广西北部龙胜地区丹洲群广泛发育一套细碧岩和镁铁-超镁铁质岩石。细碧岩具有板内和岛弧火山岩的双重地地球化学属性,其形成时代〈820Ma。本文作者综合地质学、岩石学、地球化学和同位素年代学的资料,提出陇胜地区丹洲群火山岩及镁铁-超镁铁质岩石不属于蛇绿岩,而是新元古代(~820Ma)大陆裂谷进一步发展的产物,共形成与Rodinia超级大陆的裂解过程相联系。这一认识对华南地区前寒武纪大南构造演化研究具有生  相似文献

东昆仑造山带中灶火地区镁铁质岩墙群以闪长玢岩为主,含少量闪斜煌斑岩、辉绿玢岩及辉绿岩,LA-ICPMS锆石U-Pb年代学指示该套岩墙群结晶侵位年龄为(249±1)Ma。稀土元素含量整体较高,富集轻稀土元素(∑REE=99.9×10-6~173.9×10-6,(La/Yb)N=3.5~9.3);微量元素表现出富集大离子亲石元素(LILE),亏损高场强元素(HFSE)的特征;源区分析表明,镁铁质岩浆为俯冲洋壳析出的流体交代富集地幔的结果,且在岩石成因中部分熔融起到主导作用,地壳混染和分离结晶作用对岩浆成分分异起到的作用有限。构造环境分析表明,岩石的形成与俯冲作用有关,结合区域构造演化认为镁铁质岩墙群的成因为:早三叠世,在古特提斯洋向北俯冲的环境下,俯冲板片释放的流体交代富集地幔,诱发地幔部分熔融形成镁铁质岩浆,受弧后伸展的动力学背景影响,岩浆最终上升侵位形成镁铁质岩墙群。  相似文献

Before the 1991–1992 activity, a large andesite lava dome belonging to the penultimate Pinatubo eruptive period (Buag ∼ 500 BP) formed the volcano summit. Buag porphyritic andesite contains abundant amphibole-bearing microgranular enclaves of basaltic–andesite composition. Buag enclaves have lower K2O and incompatible trace element (LREE, U, Th) contents than mafic pulses injected in the Pinatubo reservoir during the 1991–1992 eruptive cycle. This study shows that Buag andesite formed by mingling of a hot, water-poor and reduced mafic magma with cold, hydrous and oxidized dacite. Depending on their size, enclaves experienced variable re-equilibration during mixing/mingling. Re-equilibration resulted in hydration, oxidation and transfer of mobile elements (LILE, Cu) from the dacite to the mafic melts and prompted massive amphibole crystallization. In Buag enclaves, S-bearing phases (sulfides, apatite) and melt inclusions in amphibole and plagioclase record the evolution of sulfur partition among melt, crystal and fluid phases during magma cooling and oxidation. At high temperature, sulfur is partitioned between andesitic melt and sulfides (Ni-pyrrhotite). Magma cooling, oxidation and hydration resulted in exsolution of a S–Cl–H2O vapor phase at the S-solubility minimum near the sulfide–sulfate redox boundary. Primary magmatic sulfide (pyrrhotite) and xenocrystic sulfide grains (pyrite), recycled together with olivines and pyroxenes from old mafic intrusives, were replaced by Cu-rich phases (chalcopyrite, cubanite) and, partially, by Ba–Sr sulfate. Sulfides degassed and transformed into residual spongy magnetite in response to fS2 drop during final magma ascent and decompression. Our research suggests that a complete evaluation of the sulfur budget at Pinatubo must take into account the en route S assimilation from the country rocks. Moreover, this study shows that the efficiency of sulfur transfer between mafic recharges and injected magmas is controlled by the extent and rate of mingling, hydrous flushing and melt oxidation. Vigorous mixing/mingling and transformation of the magmatic recharge into a spray of small enclaves is required in order to efficiently strip their primary S-content that otherwise remains locked in the sulfides. Hydrous flushing increases the magma oxidation state of the recharges and modifies their primary volatile concentrations that cannot be recovered by the study of late-formed mineral phases and melt inclusions. Conversely, S stored in both late-formed Cu-rich sulfides and interstitial rhyolitic melt represents the pre-eruptive sulfur budget immediately available for release from mafic enclaves during their decompression.  相似文献

The base of an upper Palaeozoic graben‐fill in eastern Canada was affected by mafic dyke intrusions shortly after deposition, resulting in the formation of peperite. Complex magma–sediment interactions occurred as the melts mingled with the wet and poorly consolidated clastic material of this sedimentary basin, which is separated from underlying rocks by the Acadian unconformity (Middle Devonian). As a result of these interactions, the mafic rocks are strongly oxidized, albitized and autobrecciated near and above the unconformity, where blocky juvenile clasts of mafic glass and porphyritic basalt have mingled with molten or fluidized sediments of the upper Palaeozoic Saint‐Jules Formation, forming a peperite zone several metres thick. In contrast to most peperite occurrences, the New‐Carlisle peperites are associated with the tip of dykes rather than with the sides of sills or dykes. We argue that more heat can be concentrated above a dyke than above a sill, as the former provides a more efficient and focused pathway for heated waters to invade the poorly consolidated host sediments. Superheated groundwaters that issued from the sides of the dykes appear to have promoted melting of carbonate components in calcareous sedimentary rock clasts of the Saint‐Jules Formation, locally generating carbonate melts that contributed to the mingling of juvenile and sedimentary clasts in the peperite. 鲁西中、新生代镁铁质岩浆作用与地幔化学演化   总被引:13,自引:0,他引:13  
镁铁质火成岩作为分布最为广泛的典型幔源岩石, 已成为探索地幔化学性状及示踪岩石圈深部过程的主要研究对象.通过对典型样品元素-同位素组成的系统测定, 并结合前人已有资料, 综合研究了鲁西中生代和新生代镁铁质岩石的地质与地球化学特征.研究结果表明, 中生代镁铁质火成岩总体具有富轻稀土和大离子亲石元素、贫高场强元素、ISr值变化范围大(0.70396~0.71247)、εNd (t) 值显著偏低(-9.20~-21.21) 的地球化学特征, 但该区南部和北部的中生代镁铁质岩石在元素-同位素组成上仍存在一定差别, 主要表现在南部较之北部镁铁质岩石具有更高的稀土总量(ΣREE为325.52×10-6~555.75×10-6)和轻、重稀土比值(LREE/HREE=17.75~25.97), 以及更高的LILE/HFSE比值(如La/Nb=6.37~13.85, Th/Nb=0.52~1.53).南部镁铁质岩石较之北部镁铁质岩石也更富放射成因锶, ISr值分别为0.70844~0.71247和0.70396~0.70598.元素-同位素综合示踪指示鲁西中生代地幔总体具有因岩石圈大规模拆沉作用形成的EMⅠ型富集地幔特征, 但其南部叠加了因深俯冲而进入地幔的扬子陆壳的影响, 因而表现出EMⅠ和EMⅡ组分混合的富集地幔特征.新生代玄武岩具有类似于大洋玄武岩的地球化学特征, 其源区应为亏损的软流圈地幔, 但在部分熔融形成岩浆之前遭受了近期的交代作用.自中生代至新生代, 华北克拉通地幔具有由富集向亏损演变的趋势, 这一化学性状的演变最可能是中生代以来岩石圈大规模拆沉作用, 导致软流圈地幔上涌并对原有岩石圈地幔再改造所致.   相似文献

The Dharwar Craton in Peninsular India was intruded by a series of mafic dykes during the Paleoproterozoic and these mafic magmatic events have important implications on continental rifting and LIPs. Here we report ten precise Pb–Pb TE-TIMS age determinations on baddeleyite grains separated from seven mafic dykes and three sills, intruding into Archean basement rocks and Proterozoic sedimentary formations of the Eastern Dharwar Craton respectively. The crystallization age of the baddeleyite shows 2366.3 ​± ​1.1 ​Ma, and 2369.2 ​± ​0.8 ​Ma for the NE–SW trending dykes, 2368.1 ​± ​0.6 ​Ma, 2366.4 ​± ​0.8 ​Ma, 2207.2 ​± ​0.7 ​Ma and 1887.3 ​± ​1.0 ​Ma for the ENE–WNW to E–W striking dykes, 1880.6 ​± ​1.0 ​Ma, 1864.3 ​± ​0.6 ​Ma and 1863.6 ​± ​0.9 ​Ma for Cuddapah sills, and 1861.8 ​± ​1.4 ​Ma for the N–S trending dyke. Our results in conjunction with those from previous studies identify eight distinct stages of widespread Paleoproterozoic magmatism in the Dharwar craton. The mantle plume centres of the four radiating dyke swarms with ages of ~2367 ​Ma, ~2210 ​Ma, ~2082 ​Ma, and ~1886 ​Ma were traced to establish their proximity to the EDC kimberlite province. Though the ~2367 ​Ma and ~1886 ​Ma plume centres are inferred to be located to the west and east of the present day Dharwar craton respectively away from the kimberlite province, location of plume heads of the other two swarms with ages of ~2207 ​Ma and ~2082 ​Ma are in close proximity. In spite of the ubiquitous occurrence of dyke intrusions of all the seven generations in the kimberlite province, only few of these kimberlites are diamondiferous. Kimberlite occurrences elsewhere in the vicinity of older Large Igneous Provinces (LIPs) like the Mackenzie, Karoo, Parana-Etendeka and Yakutsk-Vilui are also non-diamondiferous. This has been attributed to the destruction of the lithospheric mantle keel (that hosts the diamonds) by the respective mantle plumes. The diamondiferous nature of the EDC kimberlites therefore suggests that plume activity does not always result in the destruction of the mantle keel.  相似文献

Although ophiolitic rocks are abundant in Anatolia (Turkey), only in rare cases have they experienced high‐grade metamorphism. Even more uncommon, in Anatolia and elsewhere are high‐grade meta‐ophiolites that retain an oceanic lithosphere stratigraphy from upper crustal mafic volcanic rocks through lower crustal gabbro to mantle peridotite. The Berit meta‐ophiolite of SE Turkey exhibits both features: from structurally higher to lower levels, it consists of garnet amphibolite (metabasalt), granulite facies metagabbro (as lenses in amphibolite inferred to be retrogressed granulite) and metaperidotite (locally with metapyroxenite layers). Whole‐rock major and trace‐element data indicate a tholeiitic protolith that formed in a suprasubduction setting. This paper presents new results for the metamorphic PT conditions and path of oceanic lower crustal rocks in the Berit meta‐ophiolite, and an evaluation of the tectonic processes that may drive granulite facies metamorphism of ophiolite gabbro. In the Do?an?ehir (Malatya, Turkey) region, granulite facies gabbroic rocks contain garnet (Grt)+clinopyroxene (Cpx)+plagioclase (Pl)+corundum (Crn)±orthopyroxene (Opx)±kyanite (Ky)±sapphirine (Spr)±rutile. Some exhibit symplectites consisting of Crn+Cpx, Ky+Cpx and/or coronas of garnet (outer shell) around a polygonal aggregate of clinopyroxene that in some cases surrounds a polygonal aggregate of orthopyroxene. Coronitic and non‐coronitic textures occur in proximity in mm‐ to cm‐scale layers; corona structures typically occur in plagioclase‐rich layers. Their formation is therefore related primarily to protolith type (troctolite v. gabbro) rather than P–T path. Phase diagrams calculated for a kyanite‐rich granulite, a plagioclase‐rich non‐coronitic granulite, and a plagioclase‐rich coronitic granulite (taking into account changes in effective bulk composition during texture development) predict peak conditions of ~800°C, 1.1–1.5 GPa; these conditions do not require invoking an unusually high geothermal gradient. In the coronitic metagabbro, reaction textures formed along the prograde path: Crn–Cpx symplectites grew at the expense of garnet, sapphirine and plagioclase. Peak conditions were followed by isobaric cooling of ~150°C. Hornblende–plagioclase thermometry results for host amphibolite (Hbl+Pl±Crn±Grt±relict Cpx) indicate retrograde conditions of 620–675°C and 0.5–0.8 GPa accompanied by infiltration of H2O‐rich fluid. This anticlockwise P–T path differs from an isothermal decompression path previously proposed for these rocks based on the presence of symplectite. Metamorphism of the ophiolitic rocks was driven by closing of the southern Neotethys Ocean, as oceanic lithosphere was obducted (most SE Anatolian ophiolites) or underthrust (Berit meta‐ophiolite). This was followed by subduction of a continental margin, driving cooling of the Berit granulite after the thermal peak at depths of ~40 km.  相似文献

华北克拉通破坏和岩石圈减薄已成为我国乃至国际地学界研究的热点之一。本文作者对许卫卫和郑天愉(2005)采用接收函数方法测量渤海湾西北盆岭地区58个宽频地震台站下面地壳厚度和地壳泊松比的资料进行了详细的分析研究。在冀东北、辽西以及石家庄附近的南太行山地区地壳泊松比随地壳厚度增加呈非线性骤然陡降,说明在这些地区中新生代地壳减薄作用主要集中于长英质的中上地壳。在保定—大同和官厅水库—张家口—张北地区,地壳泊松比随地壳厚度增加作缓慢地线性减小,说明由玄武岩浆底侵作用造成的地壳泊松比增加抵消了一部分由长英质中上地壳减薄造成的泊松比减小。所以,在中新生代华北克拉通地壳减薄过程中,上地幔部分熔融及玄武岩浆底侵作用主要集中在保定—大同和官厅水库—张家口—张北等冀西北地区。  相似文献
