Three-dimensional thermal structure of the Chinese continental crust and upper mantle 总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3
We invert S-wave velocities for the 3D upper-mantle temperatures, in which the position with a temperature crossing the 1300℃ adiabat is corresponding to the top of the seismic low velocity zone. The temperatures down to the depth of 80 km are then calculated by solving steady-state thermal conduction equation with the constraints of the inverted upper-mantle temperatures and the surface temperatures, and then surface heat flows are calculated from the crustal temperatures. The misfit between the calculated and observed surface heat flow is smaller than 20% for most regions. The result shows that, at a depth of 25 km, the crustal temperature of eastern China (500―600℃) is higher than that of western China (<500℃). At a depth of 100 km, temperatures beneath eastern and southeastern China are higher than the adiabatic temperature of 1300℃, while that beneath west China is lower. The Tarim craton and the Sichuan basin show generally low temperature. At a depth of 150 km, temperatures beneath south China, eastern Yangtze craton, North China craton and around the Qiangtang terrane are higher than the adiabatic temperature of 1300℃, but is the lowest beneath the Sichuan basin and the regions near the Indian-Eurasian collision zone. At a depth of 200 km, very low temperature occurs beneath the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and the south to the Tarim craton. 相似文献

Three-dimensional seismic data from the Faeroe-Shetland Basin provides detailed information on the relationships between sills,
dykes, laccoliths and contemporaneous volcanic activity. The data shows that sills are predominantly concave upwards, being
complete or partial versions of radially or bilaterally symmetrical forms that possess flat inner saucers connected to a flat
outer rim by a steeply inclined sheet. Such morphologies are only partially modified by pre-existing faults. Sills can be
sourced from dykes or the steep climbing portions of deeper sills. Both sills and dykes can provide magma to overlying volcanic
fissures and sills can be shown to feed shallow laccoliths. Magma flow patterns, as revealed by opacity rendering, suggest
that sills propagate upwards and outwards away from the magma feeder. As an individual sill can consist of several leaves
emplaced at different stratigraphic levels, and as a sill or dyke can provide magma to volcanic fissures, other sills and
laccoliths, the data suggests that neutral buoyancy concepts may not provide a complete explanation for the mechanism and
level of sill emplacement. Instead, the data suggests that the presence of lithological contrasts, particularly ductile horizons
such as overpressured shales may permit sill formation at any level below the neutrally buoyant level.

Alpine snowmelt is an important generation mode for runoff in the source region of the Tarim River basin, which covers four subbasins characterized by large area, sparse gauge stations, mixed runoff supplied by snowmelt and rainfall, and remarkably spatially heterogeneous precipitation. Taking the Kaidu River basin as a research area, this study analyzes the influence of these characteristics on the variables and parameters of the Snow Runoff Model and discusses the corresponding determination strategy to improve the accuracy of snowmelt simulation and forecast. The results show that: (i) The temperature controls the overall tendency of simulated runoff and is dominant to simulation accuracy, as the measured daily mean temperature cannot represent the average level of the same elevation in the basin and that directly inputting it to model leads to inaccurate simulations. Based on the analysis of remote sensing snow maps and simulation results, it is reasonable to approximate the mean temperature with 0.5 time daily maximum temperature. (ii) For the conflict between the limited gauge sta-tion and remarkably spatial heterogeneity of rainfall, it is not realistic to compute rainfall for each elevation zone. After the measured rainfall is multiplied by a proper coefficient and adjusted with runoff coefficient for rainfall, the measured rainfall data can satisfy the model demands. (iii) Adjusting time lag according to the variation of snowmelt and rainfall position can improve the simulation precision of the flood peak process. A time-domain method for the analysis of arch dam-foundation rock dynamic interaction during earthquake was proposed, and
the dynamic relaxation technique was adopted to obtain the initial static response for dynamic analysis by [Du et al. (2005).
The paper has been contributed to Bulletin of earthquake engineering]. In this paper, a nonlinear explicit method in time
domain considering the opening and closing effect of contact joints on arch dam during earthquake is further proposed by introducing
the dynamic contact force model into the method. The simulation accuracy of dynamic contact force model is verified by comparing
its calculation result and test result of scale model on shaking table. Finally, the influence of joints on the seismic response

According to variations of 137Cs and clay contents, 44 flood couplets were identified in a profile of reservoir deposit with a vertical length of 28.12 m in the Yuntaishan Gully. Couplet 27 at the middle of the profile had the highest average 137Cs content of 12.65 Bq kg-1, which indicated the 1963s' deposits, then 137Cs content decreased both downward and upward in the profile. The second top and bottom couplets had average 137Cs contents of 2.15 Bq kg-1 and 0.92 Bq kg-1, respectively. By integrated analysis of reservoir construction and management history, variations of 137Cs contents over the profile, sediment yields of flood couplets and rainfall data during the period of 1958-1970, individual storms related to the flood couplets were identified. 44 floods with a total sediment yield of 2.36×104 m3 occurred and flood events in a year varied between 1 and 10 times during the period of 1960-1970. 7-10 flood events occurred during the wet period of 1961-1964 with very wet autumn, while only 1-2 events during the dry period of 1965-1969. Average annual specific sediment yield was 1.29×104 t km-2 a-1 for the Yuntaishan Gully during the period of 1960-1970, which was slightly higher than 1.11 ×104 t km-2 a-1 for the Upper Yanhe River Basin above the Ganguyi Hydrological Station and slightly lower than 1.40 ×104 t km-2 a-1 for the nearby Zhifang Gully during the same period. Annual specific sediment yields for the Yuntaishan Gully were correlated to the wet season's rainfalls well. 相似文献
