The role of relative sea-level rise as a cause for the rapid erosion of Louisiana's barrier island coast is investigated through a numerical implementation of a modified Bruun rule that accounts for the low percentage of sand-sized sediment in the eroding Louisiana shoreface. Shore-normal profiles from 150 km of coastline west of the Mississippi delta are derived from bathymetric surveys conducted during the 1880s, 1930s and 1980s. An RMS difference criterion is employed to test whether an equilibrium profile form is maintained between survey years. Only about half the studied profiles meet the equilibrium criterion; this represents a significant limitation on the potential applicability of the Bruun rule. The profiles meeting the equilibrium criterion, along with measured rates of relative sea-level rise, are used to hindcast shoreline retreat rates at 37 locations within the study area. Modeled and observed shoreline retreat rates show no significant correlation. Thus, in terms of the Bruun approach, relative sea-level rise has no power for hindcasting (and presumably forecasting) rates of coastal erosion for the Louisiana barrier islands.  相似文献   

Relationship between Shot-Induced Noise and Shot Interval in Seismic Refraction Experiments at Sea

Seismic noise induced by the seismic source during continuous profiling reduces the signal-to-noise ratio and hence the data quality. This noise is largely dependent on the shot interval. In this paper, the noise amplitude of refraction seismic records from a special experiment is analysed as a function of the shot interval. An empirical exponential relationship between mean peak noise amplitude and shot interval is deduced. By increasing the shot interval, the induced noise can be minimized on all successive records. This results in an improvement of the data, predominantly the signal-to-noise ratio. Because the seismic signal and the shot-induced noise have nearly the same spectra, the chance of improving the signal-to-noise ratio by stacking is significantly reduced.  相似文献

Concentrations of total recoverable inorganic tin (TRISn), monomethyltin (MeSn³⁺), dimethyltin (Me₂Sn²⁺), trimethyltin (Me₃Sn⁺) and (3-dimethylsulphonio)propionate (DMSP) were determined in leaves of Spartina alterniflora from three sites in the Great Bay estuary (NH) from 8 May to 15 September 1989. Total methyltin concentration increased from 8·9 ng g⁻¹ (fresh weight) on 8 May to 472 ng g⁻¹ on 23 May, decreased to 52 ng g⁻¹ on 7 June and 16ng g⁻¹ on 20 June, and remained low until the last sample on 18 September. Statistical calculations showed that methyltin concentrations varied significantly with sampling week, but not with site. DMSP concentrations showed very different behaviour. During the same sampling period DMSP concentrations varied only from 7·5 to 26 μmol g⁻¹ (fresh weight). DMSP concentrations varied significantly for site, but not sampling week.  相似文献

参考鳗鲡等鱼类线粒体 DNA序列进行了中国花鲈线粒体 DNA细胞色素 b基因片断的引物设计、PCR扩增及其序列测定。得到中国花鲈的碱基序列为 4 10 bp,其 A、T、G、C含量分别为 10 1bp(2 4 .6 3% )、112 bp(2 7.32 % )、72 bp(17.56 % )、12 5bp(30 .4 9% ) ,与鳗鲡等其他鱼类相同基因片断序列碱基含量相似。  相似文献

对3种蛏类大竹蛏（Solen grandis），长竹蛏（Solen strictus）和小刀蛏（Cultellus attenuatus）的线粒体16SrRNA和COI基因片段序列进行了比较并对其系统学进行了初步研究。得到的序列总长度分别为472-481bp（16S）和658bp（COI）。3种蛏序列的碱基组成均显示出较高的A＋T比例（16SrRNA基因62．1％；COI基因62．8％）。对位排序比较表明，16SrRNA片段种内个体间变异较小，3种类间存在128个碱基变异位点（其中包括127个简约信息位点）和5个插入／缺失位点，总共12个碱基长；COI片段有200个碱基存在变异，其中包括191个简约信息位点，不存在任何插入／缺失位点。数据分析结果表明16SrRNA和COI基因片段大竹蛏与长竹蛏两片段的遗传距离分别为0．0856和0．1712，两竹蛏类与小刀蛏的遗传距离分别为0．3054，0．2798和0．2662，0．2933。作者认为小刀蛏与竹蛏之间的遗传距离已达到科之间的水平，结果支持将其提升为刀蛏科的分类观点。3种蛏类线粒体16SrRNA和COI基因在种间明显的多态性，证实了16SrRNA和COI基因序列均普遍适用于蛏类种及以上阶元的系统学分析。  相似文献

采用PCR及克隆测序的方法，对1998年引发渤海赤潮的叉角藻18SrRNAadldey DNAITS区（Internal Transcribed Spacer Regions)进行了序列测定与分析。并通过因特网从国际分子生物学数据库中获取甲藻另外15个种的18rDNA序列，以Tetrahymena corlissi作为类群，分别采用Neighbor-Joining和Fitch方法构建甲藻较为一致和可靠的进化树图，探讨具有高度多样性和在分类上争议较多的甲藻各类群之间的形态与分子进化关系。结果表明，Prorocentrum(有2个简单的壳板）出现得较早，而大多数多甲藻目（覆盖着多个壳板）、裸甲藻目（大多数不具壳板）和膝沟藻目的成员较晚出现。另外，对叉角藻ITS区的分析表明，ITS区为高变区，是良好的分子标记，可用于叉角藻快速鉴定的专一性核酸分子探针的研制。  相似文献   

最小弧菌热不稳定型溶血素基因克隆与序列分析

根据已发表的最小弧菌热不稳定型溶血素（heat-labile hemolysin）基因核苷酸序列，设计和合成一对特异性引物，以最小弧菌96-6-3的基因组DNA为模板，PCR扩增得到热不稳定型溶血素基因片段，克隆到质粒载体pMD-18T中进行测序和分析．其结果表明扩增的热不稳定型溶血素基因片段与已发表的最小弧菌热不稳定型溶血素的同源性高达98％，扩增片段编码由446个氨基酸组成的多肽，推测分子量为50200．软件分析表明编码的氨基酸有较高的抗原性，可作为基因工程疫苗的候选基因片段．  相似文献

采用病原分离与鉴定、人工感染试验等方法,在对养殖牙鲆病例进行发病情况、病理变化特征检验的基础上,进行病原学检验。结果表明,此病例属于由弧菌属(VibrioPacini1854)细菌引起的败血感染症。经对12株纯培养菌(HQ010712-1—HQ010712-12)进行形态特征、理化特性等表观分类学指征的检验,选择代表菌株(HQ010712-1株)进行16S rRNA基因的测定与系统发育学分析等,判定为弧菌属的一个新种。将HQ010712-1株送中国典型培养物保藏中心(CCTCC)进行了复核鉴定与分类定名,依据分离地定名为秦皇岛弧菌(Vibrioqinhuangdaorasp.nov.);参考菌株为HQ010712-1。  相似文献

用大西洋条鳕(Macrozoarces americanus)抗冻蛋白启动子opAFP promoter和牙鲆(Paralichthys olivaceus)c型溶菌酶基因构建“全鱼”溶菌酶基因元件opAFP—ly，首次应用电脉冲精子介导法将该基因片段导入到大菱鲆(Scophthalmus maximus)受精卵内，获得原代转基因大菱鲆。先后采用单因子方法和正交实验方法，重复实验确定了最适导入条件：脉冲电压为400V／cm，脉冲次数为5，脉冲宽度为25ms，外源DNA浓度为50mg/L。利用最适导入条件，实现基因元件大规模转移。采用PCR技术对1月龄的原代转基因大菱鲆仔鱼的染色体DNA进行分析，结果表明外源基因的整合率可达28％。  相似文献
