本文利用欧洲非相干散射雷达协会(European Incoherent Scatter Scientific Association,EISCAT)的两次加热实验诊断数据,基于我们在文章(1)中建立的数值模型,定量分析了实验过程中出现参量衰减不稳定性(Parametric decay instability,PDI)的物理过程.分析结果如下:(1)通过对两次加热实验数据的分析,均观测到了增强的等离子体谱线(HFPLs)和离子声波谱线(HFILs),谱线的频率和加热电波频率满足频率匹配条件,表明电离层加热过程中参量衰减不稳定性的激发.(2)通过对加热电波反射区电子密度和离子密度模拟数据的谱分析,可以清晰发现与实验结果相符的朗缪尔波和离子声波.实验1观测到的离子声波谱线频率为8.8 kHz,而模拟得到的离子声波在5~6 kHz,实验2观测到的离子声波谱线为7.1 kHz,而模拟得到的离子声波频率在5.5~6 kHz,模拟结果与实验观测比较一致.(3)实验观测和模拟结果均表明,在参量衰减不稳定性激发过程中,加热电波频率(f_h)与等离子谱线频率和离子声波谱线频率(f_(ia))并不是简单匹配,实验1观测到的等离子体谱线频率为f_h-3f_(ia),实验2观测到的等离子体谱线增强频率为f_h—f_(ia)和f_h—3f_(ia).这一结果表明在加热过程中出现了多次参量衰减的现象,从而为朗缪尔湍流的激发提供了条件.  相似文献

大量震例表明地震前后可以观测到地下水成分的变化。 本文通过差应力下花岗岩与水反应实验模拟研究花岗岩含水层在应力积累至破裂过程中水化学组分的变化, 并探讨了地震水化异常的形成机理。 实验结果表明, 随着差应力及其加载时间的增加, 溶液中不同离子浓度均呈现不同程度的增加, 其中Na+、 K+和Cl-的浓度变化最明显。 随着差应力的增加, 三种离子浓度分别增加到3.3、 2.5和11.6倍。 随着加载时间的增加, 三种离子浓度分别增加到3.2、 3.1和12.5倍。 这种变化可能主要与花岗岩中矿物的溶解有关, Na+、 K+和Cl-可作为花岗岩含水层地震水化前兆监测的灵敏组分。  相似文献

The hybrid kinetic model supports comprehensive simulation of the interaction between different spatial and energetic elements of the Europa moon-magnetosphere system with respect to variable upstream magnetic field and flux or density distributions of plasma and energetic ions, electrons, and neutral atoms. This capability is critical for improving the interpretation of the existing Europa flyby measurements from the Galileo orbiter mission, and for planning flyby and orbital measurements (including the surface and atmospheric compositions) for future missions. The simulations are based on recent models of the atmosphere of Europa ( [Cassidy et al., 2007] and [Shematovich et al., 2005]). In contrast to previous approaches with MHD simulations, the hybrid model allows us to fully take into account the finite gyroradius effect and electron pressure, and to correctly estimate the ion velocity distribution and the fluxes along the magnetic field (assuming an initial Maxwellian velocity distribution for upstream background ions). Non-thermal distributions of upstream plasma will be addressed in future work. Photoionization, electron-impact ionization, charge exchange and collisions between the ions and neutrals are also included in our model. We consider two models for background plasma: (a) with O++ ions; (b) with O++ and S++ ions. The majority of O2 atmosphere is thermal with an extended cold population (Cassidy et al., 2007). A few first simulations already include an induced magnetic dipole; however, several important effects of induced magnetic fields arising from oceanic shell conductivity will be addressed in later work.  相似文献

The compositions of TSP between AD and NAD storm periods were compared to study their long-term variations and chemical characteristics. TSP samples were collected at Gosan site in Jeju Island of Korea from February to May of 1992–2004. The major ionic and elemental species of TSP aerosols were analyzed. During AD periods, the concentrations of crust components (nss-Ca2+, Al, Fe, Ca, Mg, Ba, Sr, Ti) increased remarkably, and the concentrations of anthropogenic components (nss-SO42−, NO3, S, Zn, Pb, Cr, Ni, Cd), with the exception of NH4+, increased weakly. The concentration ratios of all major components between AD and NAD periods showed ranges from 1.2 to 8.5, except for NH4+. The slope of the linear regression indicated that the contribution of CO32− may have comprised up to 17% of the total anions. Our results suggested that the AD storm greatly influenced TSP compositions. Linear regression analyses indicated that NH4+ was not correlated with NO3, but highly correlated with nss-SO42− during both periods. The nss-SO42− was also correlated with NH4+, K+, nss-Mg2+, and nss-Ca2+ during both periods. Interestingly, NO3 was associated with nss-Ca2+ and nss-Mg2+ during AD periods. Of the metal elements, Fe, Ca, Mg, Ti, Mn, Ba, Sr, V, and Co were highly correlated with Al during both periods, signifying that these metals were mostly originated from soils.  相似文献

硼具有两种稳定同位素10B和11B,其在自然界的丰度分别是19.90%和80.10%。自然界硼同位素组成变化很大, δ11B变化可达90‰以上(-30‰~+60‰)。硼同位素的分析精度优于0.2‰,因此被广泛应用于多种地质过程的示踪研究。近年来,硼元素的提取、分离纯化和仪器测定技术均取得了可喜的进展,分析精度不断提高,为硼同位素地球化学研究奠定了良好的基础。本文从样品分解、化学分离和仪器测定等方面对硼同位素分析测试方法进行了归纳总结。  相似文献

New major, trace and isotopic geochemical results from a regional study of springs discharging from the major carbonate rock aquifer in the Interlake Region of Manitoba, Canada, are used to understand water–rock reactions, timing of recharge/discharge, tufa formation processes, and as baseline data. Spring waters are fresh with total dissolved solids (TDS) concentrations ranging from 150 to 880 mg/L. Waters discharging in the northern part of the study area have lower TDS, are dominantly Ca–Mg–HCO3 waters with low SO4 concentrations (<< 50 mg/L), and appear to have interacted primarily with Silurian carbonate lithologies. In contrast, waters in the southeastern part of the study area have higher TDS and have elevated SO4 concentrations (up to 210 mg/L). Spring waters have elevated Mg/Camolar (1.23 ± 0.23), typically greater than congruent dissolution of dolomite. Ca and Mg concentrations and Mg/Camolar indicate that groundwater residence times were sufficient to allow equilibration with bedrock dolomite lithologies; elevated tritium in northern waters indicates a significant recharge component in the 1960's and 1970's. Tufa precipitates that have formed from many of the spring waters are low-Mg calcite (MgO = 1.70 to 5.80 wt.%). Sr concentrations are variable (57 to 657 ppm) and tufa Sr/Camolar ratios appear to be entirely controlled by spring water Sr/Camolar. Empirically determined Sr distribution coefficients (DSr = 0.389 ± 0.083) indicate rapid crystallization following CO2 degassing, consistent with heavier δ13CVPDB compared to spring waters. Sulfate concentrations are generally too low for calcitization (dedolomitization) reactions driven by anhydrite dissolution to be the dominant control on the elevated groundwater Mg/Camolar, implying either extensive sulfate reduction along the flow paths (however, δ13CDIC suggests the elevated SO4 is more consistent with Fe-sulfide oxidation), or that other processes are involved. Major ion ratios suggest that the waters in the southern part of the study area are more consistent with interaction with siliciclastic rocks than with anhydrite dissolution. We suggest that calcitization (dedolomitization) reactions driven by anhydrite dissolution may not dominate all carbonate aquifers and that mixing of waters in karst conduits combined with ion exchange reactions are important controls on water chemistry in these systems.  相似文献

Propagation of small but finite amplitude ion acoustic solitons and double layers are investigated in electron–positron–ion plasmas in presence of highly negatively charged impurities or dust. The presence of negatively charged dust particulates can result in existence of two critical concentrations of ion–electron density ratio α. One of them α D decides the existence of double layers, whereas the other one α R decides the nature of the solitons and double layers. The system supports both compressive and rarefactive solitons as well as double layers. The parameter regimes of transitions from compressive to rarefactive solitons and double layers are also specified.  相似文献

Data from the Ion Mass Analyzer (IMA) sensor of the ASPERA-3 instrument suite onboard Mars Express and data from the Magnetometer/Electron Reflectometer (MAG/ER) on Mars Global Surveyor have been analyzed to determine whether ion beam events (IBEs) are correlated with the direction of the draped interplanetary magnetic field (IMF) or the proximity of strong crustal magnetic fields to the subsolar point. We examined 150 IBEs and found that they are organized by IMF draping direction. However, no clear dependence on the subsolar longitude of the strongest magnetic anomaly is evident, making it uncertain whether crustal magnetic fields have an effect on the formation of the beams. We also examined data from the IMA sensor of the ASPERA-4 instrument suite on Venus Express and found that IBEs are observed at Venus as well, which indicates the morphology of the Martian and Venusian magnetotails are similar.  相似文献
