The southeastern Guyana Shield,northeast Amazonian Craton,in the north of Brazil,is part of a widespread orogenic belt developed during the Transamazonian orogenic cycle(2.26-1.95 Ga)that includes a large Archean continental landmass strongly reworked during the Transamazonian orogeny,named Amapa Block.It consists mainly of a high-grade metamorphic granulitic-migmatitic-gneiss complex,of Meso-to Neoarchean age and Rhyacian granitoids and supracrustal sequences.For the first time,coupled U-Pb and Lu-Hf isotope data were obtained on zircon by LA-ICP-MS from five tectono-stratigraphic units of the Archean basement and one Paleoproterozoic intrusive rock,in order to investigate the main episodes of crustal growth and reworking.Whole-rock Sm-Nd isotope data were compared to the zircon Lu-Hf data.Three main magmatic episodes were defined by U-Pb zircon dating,two in the Mesoarchean(~3.19 Ga and 2.85 Ga)and one in the Neoarchean(~2.69-2.65 Ga).SubchondriticεHf(t)values obtained for almost all investigated units indicate that crustal reworking processes were predominant during the formation of rocks that today make up the Amapa Block.Hf-TDMC model ages,ranging from2.99 Ga to 3.97 Ga,indicate that at least two important periods of mantle extraction and continental crust formation occurred during the Archean in southeastern Guyana Shield,an older one in the Eoarchean(~4.0 Ga)and a younger one in the Mesoarchean(~3.0-3.1 Ga).The latter is recognized as an important period of crustal accretion worldwide.The recognition of an Eoarchean episode to the southeastern most part of the Guyana Shield is unprecedented and was not recorded by whole-rock Sm-Nd data,which were restricted to the Meso-Paleoarchean(2.83 Ga to 3.51 Ga).This finding reveals t hat continental crust generation in the Amazonian Craton began at least 500 Ma earlier than previously suggested by the SmNd systematics.  相似文献

通过野外地质调查、地质剖面测量、钻探岩心编录、古生物化石研究和同位素样品测年分析,并结合对前人资料的综合分析研究,认为:新民组为一套以酸性火山岩、火山碎屑岩为主夹含煤沉积的地层,产有Coniopteris-Phoenicopsis植物群中期组合、Ferganoconcha tomiensis-F.elongata双壳类化石组合和Osmundacidites-Lycopodiumsporites-Piceites孢粉组合,生物群时代为中侏罗世.新民组火山岩锆石U-Pb年龄为161.6 Ma,碎屑岩锆石U-Pb年龄为(175±2)~(2537±20) Ma之间,其中最年轻的碎屑岩锆石U-Pb年龄为175±2 Ma,代表了新民组的沉积下限.上述研究结果可为大兴安岭地区中侏罗世地层的划分对比、建立健全该区的中生代地层格架提供基础资料和科学依据.  相似文献

滇东南屏边地区的基底组成一直是个谜。该区域的构造属性对约束扬子地块和华夏地块的西段界线非常重要。本文 对出露于该地区的震旦-寒武纪沉积岩进行了碎屑锆石U-Pb-Hf同位素分析。二个样品的锆石U-Pb同位素分析显示这二个 地层中的碎屑物质组成相似,都是以新元古代(700~937 Ma)碎屑物质为主,构成了~815 Ma的主峰。岩石中都含有少量 古-中元古代碎屑物质。屏边群沉积岩样品六个最年轻谐和锆石年龄变化于696~761 Ma,指示屏边形成于新元古代晚期, 与震旦系相当。屏边地区基底变质沉积岩的碎屑锆石年龄谱为一明显富集新元古代年龄的单峰模式,不同于华夏地块和印 支地块的年龄谱,而与扬子地块南缘及扬子西缘的沉积岩相似。Hf同位素特征也显示了与扬子地块(尤其是西缘)的亲缘 关系。结合其他证据,本文认为滇东南屏边地区属于扬子地块,扬子地块与华夏地块分界线的西延部分应该在研究区以南 或东南,而不可能是研究区以北的师宗-弥勒-罗甸断裂。碎屑锆石年龄分布特征还指示屏边群这套浅变质碎屑岩沉积于弧 后盆地,暗示扬子地块西南缘的新元古代俯冲作用可能一直持续到~752 Ma之后。  相似文献

东南沿海山地丘陵地区每年雨季期间有大量土质滑坡发生,如何对由降雨诱发的滑坡进行预报一直都是一个热点研究课题,雨强-历时曲线(简称I-D曲线)是目前国内外常用的降雨型滑坡预报的降雨量临界值曲线。针对东南沿海地区的浅层残积土滑坡,根据相关勘察数据及资料,概化得到了该类型边坡的地质剖面及岩土层性质,然后应用Geo-Studio软件分析了边坡初始湿润条件、土体抗剪强度、饱和渗透系数、边坡坡角、残坡积土层厚度及雨型等参数对I-D曲线的影响规律。分析结果表明:残坡积土抗剪强度参数、饱和渗透系数、边坡坡角、雨型等因素对I-D曲线的影响显著,边坡安全系数降至临界值所需降雨历时随抗剪强度参数值降低、表层残积土渗透系数增加或坡角增大而减少;当雨强较小时,初始湿润条件对I-D曲线的影响显著;当雨强大于残坡积土层饱和渗透系数时,入渗量主要由渗透系数控制,边坡安全系数降至临界值所需降雨历时不随雨强增大而变化。该研究结果为I-D曲线在东南沿海残积土地区降雨诱发滑坡预警预报中的应用奠定了基础。  相似文献

In the context of wide-angle seismic profiling, the determination of the physical properties of the Earth crust, such as the elastic layer depth and seismic velocity, is often performed by inversion of P- and/or S-phases propagation data supplying the geometry of the medium (reflector depths) or any other structural parameter (P- or S-wave velocity, density...). Moreover, the inversion for velocity structure and interfaces is commonly performed using only seismic reflection travel times and/or crustal phase amplitudes in isotropic media. But it is very important to utilize more available information to constrain the non-uniqueness of the solution. In this paper, we present a simultaneous inversion method of seismic reflection travel times and polarizations data of transient elastic waves in stratified media to reconstruct not only layer depth and vertical P-wave velocity but also the anisotropy feature of the crust based on the estimation of the Thomsen’s parameters. We carry out a checking with synthetic data, comparing the inversion results obtained by anisotropic travel-time inversion to the results derived by joint inversion of seismic reflection travel times and polarizations data. The comparison proves that the first procedure leads to biased anisotropic models, while the second one fits nearly the real model. This makes the joint inversion method feasible. Finally, we investigate the geometry, P-wave velocity structure and anisotropy of the crust beneath Southeastern China by applying the proposed inversion method to previously acquired wide-angle seismic data. In this case, the anisotropy signature provides clear evidence that the Jiangshan-Shaoxing fault is the natural boundary between the Yangtze and Cathaysia blocks.  相似文献

根据浙闽赣粤地区出露的中深变质岩石构造组合,构造形迹和近年报道的同位素测年数据认为,中国东南部晚中生代火成岩之下存在一个前泥盆纪的变质基底,其中,前震旦纪的变质基底以呈面形分布的片岩,片麻岩及混合岩为特征,年龄值大于8亿年,是构成华南地区最古老的陆壳基底之一,俗称华厦古陆,9亿年左右,该陆块和扬子陆块碰撞,其缝合带为强兴-江山-东乡-萍乡断裂带,稍后,受区域拉张构造事件的影响,它被裂解为三个走向各异,分布在浙东南-闽西北,赣中-赣南和云开三个地区的块体,分别呈NEE,NNE和NE方向展布,三者之间为巨厚的震旦纪一早古生代沉积物质所充填,并有复式岩浆岩流出现,研究表明,中国东南部晚中生代火成岩的基底构造至少经历过三期构造一热事件的演化,这种古构造格局,制约了中国东南部中生代大规模构造-岩浆活动,岩浆成分差异及其空间展布。  相似文献

Rock avalanche is one of the most notable geological disasters in the mountain areas, such as the southeastern Tibetan Plateau. A typical one therein is the Luanshibao (LSB) rock avalanche that occurred in the Maoyaba basin. This rock avalanche has attracted a great deal of attentions, as it has a potential threat to the construction of Sichuan-Tibet Railway. It has been widely accepted that the LSB rock avalanche was caused by a seismic event. However, it is still an open question as to the timing of the earthquake-triggered rock avalanche. Here, we report twenty new 10Be exposure-ages obtained from the deposition zone. These tightly clustered exposure-ages, combined with geomorphic evidence, indicate that the LSB rock avalanche occurred during the mid-Holocene, possibly at 5.2 ± 0.2 ka. A comparison between the timing of rock avalanche and seismic events suggests a close correlation of the LSB rock avalanche with recurrent earthquakes around ∼5 ka BP. Such a correlation is well supported by the view from previous studies.  相似文献

Determining occurrence age is key to chronology analysis of huge landslides. However, in carbonated bedrock areas, it is difficult to carry out geochronological surveys of landslide evolution due to lack of suitable dating materials and methods. In carbonated bedrock areas, the cosmic nuclides 36Cl and 14C dating methods have been used for obtaining the exposed age of bedrock. But intense weathering, erosion and dissolution make it difficult to obtain an accurate total amount of cosmogenic nuclide accumulation, resulting in the dating results being affected greatly by weathering, erosion and dissolution of carbonate rock. Therefore, it is necessary to find new dating materials or methods for determining the occurrence age of landslide in carbonate bedrock areas with little quaternary sediments. In this study, a huge landslide developed in the carbonate bedrock area of south eastern Tibet is introduced briefly, which is named the Qiaojia landslide and blocked the Jinsha River. A thin layer including three obvious recrystallized carbonate sub-layers was formed in the sliding zone, indicating different sliding events. Three recrystallized carbonate samples were then collected for ESR dating research to obtain the age information of the Qiaojia landslide: one occurred 79 ± 8 ka years ago, and the other occurred 60 ± 10 ka years ago, and the third occurred 25 ± 2 ka years ago, which are in general agreement with other studies in the surrounding of the study area. It suggests that recrystallized carbonate on sliding face is suitable for chronologically identifying landslide activity by using ESR method in the carbonate area, especially in the areas with little or no quaternary sediments.  相似文献
