The tectonic transition from Prototethys to Paleotethys orogeny in the East Kunlun orogenic belt is not completely clear, and is a major unresolved geologic issue in Northern Tibet Plateau. Here, we present zircon geochronology, whole-rock elemental and zircon Hf isotopic geochemistry for newly discovered mafic dykes in the East Kunlun orogenic belt, to provide constraints on this issue. The studied mafic dykes are hornblende gabbros, consisting of hornblende (60–65 vol.%), plagioclase (15–25 vol.%) and augite and biotite (0–5 vol.%). LA–ICP–MS zircon U–Pb dating shows that these mafic dykes were emplaced at about 393 Ma. All the mafic dykes are characterized by high contents of CaO (8.82–11.48 wt.%), MgO (9.07–11.39 wt.%), V (275–336 ppm), Cr (370–467 ppm) and Ni (78.3–120 ppm), with high Mg# (63–67), flat CI-normalized REE distribution and depleted ?Hf(t) values (2.03–5.35), showing tholeiitic affinities and geochemical characteristics similar to those of mid-ocean ridge basalts. They were derived from low degree (about 5–15%) partial melting of a fertile spinel lherzolite source, which have been metasomatized by fluids introduced to the mantle by former subducted slab. The geologic–petrologic evidence suggests that the mafic dykes were emplaced in a shift tectonic setting related to continental rifting, which was caused by the extensional collapse related to the lithospheric thinning after the Prototethys orogeny. The delamination-induced thermal disturbance and extensional decompression triggered partial melting of the mantle and the emplacement of the mafic dykes. Combined with previous work, we propose that the Middle Devonian mafic dykes may be the early magmatic response to the transition from Prototethys to Paleotethys marking the opening of the Paleotethys in the East Kunlun orogenic belt.  相似文献

The first alveolinoidean appearing in the Cenomanian Natih Formation of Oman (Adam foothills and southern edge of Jabal Akhdar) are studied in detail. Morphological analysis results in the creation of one new family, Myriastylidae, two new genera, Myriastyla and Alveocella, and four new species, M. omanensis, M. grelaudae, A. wernliana, and Cisalveolina nakharensis. These four new taxa have a short stratigraphic extension restricted to the uppermost part of Natih E unit and are dated early middle Cenomanian by neighboring foraminifers and ammonite levels.  相似文献

雅拉香波穹隆位于特提斯喜马拉雅构造带东部,出露显生宙不同时期的岩石地层,发育强烈韧性剪切变形和多期岩浆热事件,良好地记录了印度大陆俯冲导致的构造变形和岩浆热历史。对雅拉香波穹隆不同构造部位的花岗质岩石进行LA-ICP-MS锆石U-Pb同位素测年,获得4期构造岩浆事件的高精度测年数据。早期锆石年龄520.4±6.3Ma与536±12Ma指示喜马拉雅地块结晶基底泛非期岩浆侵位时代,晚期锆石年龄揭示新生代碰撞造山不同阶段构造热事件的发生时代。其中,45.6±1.2--44.16±0.88Ma反映印度大陆向北俯冲的起始时代,35.00±0.48Ma对应于始新世晚期增厚地壳深部构造热事件年龄,15.67±0.50Ma指示雅拉香波核部花岗岩侵位及穹隆的形成时代。  相似文献

本文总结了"三江特提斯复合造山与成矿作用"和"中国西南特提斯典型复合成矿系统及其深部驱动机制"两轮国家重点基础研究发展规划项目研究进展及其重大突破,主要内容包括以下四个方面:(1)构建了西南特提斯从原特提斯、古特提斯、中特提斯到新特提斯增生-碰撞造山演化模式,揭示复合造山与构造体制转换机制;(2)创建复合成矿系统理论体系,揭示复合造山带巨量金属富集机理。通过对西南特提斯成矿域典型矿床系统剖析,厘定了增生造山海底喷流型Cu-Pb-Zn-Ag、增生-碰撞造山岩浆热液型Cu-Mo-Sn-W、碰撞造山盆地卤水-热液型Pb-Zn-Ag-Cu和碰撞造山斑岩-矽卡岩型Au-Cu-Mo四类复合成矿系统;(3)通过同位素地球化学、地球物理场和成矿系统等综合研究,分析了西南特提斯岩石圈结构以及大规模成矿作用,解析深部动力学机制和成矿机制;(4)构建矿床成因模式和勘查模型,理论指导找矿取得突破。  相似文献

An examination of the historical material of Colveraia variabilis Klinghardt, 1921 housed in the collections of the Steinmann Institute of Palaeontology (Bonn, Germany) and of some newly collected specimens from the type area of Mt. Jouf (Friuli, NE Italy) has revealed many previously unknown characters of this radiolitid. Klinghardt had only large fragments of Colveraia variabilis at his disposal and he erred in some respects, mainly by mistaking the upper valve for the lower one. Representatives of the genus Colveraia have been collected at different localities of the Central-Eastern Mediterranean Tethys and the Arabian Plate, but the majority of these have never been described in detail or have been identified solely on the basis of transverse sections, except in Turkey, where many well-preserved specimens have been recovered. Historical and new examples of Colveraia variabilis from Mt. Jouf and the material recovered from Turkish localities show different external characters as far as radial zone, general shell shape and ornamentation are concerned. These lead us to assign all Turkish specimens to Colveraia darendeensis Karacabey, 1974, which is here described in detail. Comparisons with congeneric forms from the Central-Eastern Mediterranean Tethys and the Arabian Plate are also made.  相似文献

三江特提斯兰坪盆地构造-流体-成矿系统   总被引:6,自引:5,他引:1  
西南三江中段兰坪地区经历了复杂的碰撞造山过程,导致成矿时间长、强度大、作用多样,复合叠加成矿突出;碰撞造山时空演化格架和成矿作用已有深入探索,而叠加成矿作用及其对碰撞造山过程的响应,构造控矿样式,及金属富集机理尚需研究。本文以碰撞造山过程与成矿系统研究为基础,选取金顶和金满等矿床为重点解剖对象,以盆地卤水和热液铅锌铜银成矿作用为主线,利用锆石LA-ICP-MS U-Pb和流体包裹体测试分析手段,解析兰坪盆地构造-流体-成矿系统。利用锆石U-Pb同位素定年获得兰坪盆地西侧片麻质花岗岩和二长花岗岩的上交点年龄和加权平均年龄为1067±20Ma和206±1Ma,分别代表了基底岩石前寒武时期变质事件的年龄,以及昌宁-孟连古特提斯洋后碰撞造山事件的年龄。在此基础上,构建了兰坪盆地的前寒武盆地基底形成、中二叠世-中三叠世前陆盆地、晚三叠世裂谷盆地、侏罗纪-白垩纪坳陷盆地、古新世-早渐新世前陆盆地和晚渐新世-中新世走滑拉分盆地等复杂的转化过程。三江特提斯兰坪盆地发育3个与碰撞造山盆地有关的Pb-ZnCu-Ag-Au-Sb-Hg成矿系统:(1)中低温热液脉型Cu-Ag多金属成矿系统,以金满-连城铜钼矿床为代表。成矿铜和铅锌矿化两期叠加,集中于早始新世(56~46Ma)和渐新世-中新世(32~21Ma)。成矿流体盐度变化于0.88%~20.51%NaC leqv之间,成矿温度较低,通常在210~270℃,显示以低温高盐度的盆地卤水为主的特征,可能受到来自富CO2的变质流体影响;(2)浅成低温热液Sb-Au-Hg-As多金属成矿系统,以笔架山锑矿床为代表。成矿时间集中于中-晚始新世。成矿流体盐度6.0%NaC leqv,成矿温度较低,通常在145~200℃,显示以大气降水为主的特征;(3)密西西比河谷型Pb-Zn多金属成矿系统,以金顶超大型铅锌矿床为代表。成矿时间集中于32~21Ma之间。成矿流体盐度变化于1.6%~18%NaC leqv之间,成矿温度较低,通常在80~190℃,显示以低温高盐度的盆地卤水为主的特征,可能有大气降水的贡献。文章最后解析了兰坪盆地构造-流体-成矿过程。研究对兰坪地区盆地卤水–岩浆热液型铅锌铜银成矿系统认识,为大陆碰撞过程及叠加成矿作用进一步研究提供理论支撑。  相似文献

Kolah-Ghazi granitoid (KGG), situated in the southern part of the Sanandaj–Sirjan Zone (SNSZ), Iran, is a peraluminous, high K calc-alkaline, cordierite-bearing S-type body that is mainly composed of monzogranite, granodorite and syenogranite. Zircon U–Pb ages indicate that the crystallization of the main body occurred from 175 Ma to 167 Ma. Two kinds of xenoliths are found in KKG rocks: (i) xenoliths of partially melted pelites including cordierite xenocrysts and aluminoslicates, and (ii) mafic microgranular enclaves that reflect the input of mantle-derived mafic magmas. Field observations and geochemical data of KGG rocks are consistent with their derivation from a multiple sources including melts of metasediments and mantle-derived melts. We infer that these magmas originated by the anatexis of a metasedimentary source (mixture of metapelite and metagreywacke) in the mid- to lower-crust under low water-vapor pressures (0.5-1 Kbar) and temperature of ∼800 °C. KGG is the product of biotite incongruent melting of this metasedimentary source. S-type granites are commonly thought to be produced in continent-continent collision tectonic environment. However, trace element discrimination diagrams show that S-type KGG rocks formed in an arc-related environment. The roll-back of Neo- Tethyan subducting slab accompanying oblique subduction in Late Triassic to Early Jurassic time induced trench rollback, back arc basin opening and filling with turbidite flysch and molasse- type siliciclastic sediments of the Shemshak Group on the overriding plate. Further changes in the subducting slab to flat subduction in Middle Jurassic time, the time of peak magmatism in the SNSZ, led to thickening and high temperature-low pressure metamorphism of the backarc turbidite deposits and consequent anatexis of the metasedimentary source to produce the KGG S- type rocks along with several other I-type granitoids in the SNSZ.  相似文献

琅勃拉邦构造带内放射虫硅质岩含有放射虫Entactinia vulgaris Won, Entactinosphaera palimpola Foreman和Belowea variabilis (Ormiston et Lane),时代为早石炭世,为老挝境内首次报告。硅质岩样品具有很高的SiO2质量分数(95.29%~98.17%),大部分样品表现出相类似的稀土配分模式,部分样品配分模式图表现为上凸状,具有中稀土富集,均具有明显的Ce负异常,Ce/Ce*值为0.64~0.74,其中部分样品具有Eu的负异常,为0.58~0.68。Y/Ho比值为31.05~40.96,类似日本Sasayama中-晚二叠世的远洋硅质岩。地球化学显示其为含酸性火山碎屑非热液成因的远洋硅质岩。这些研究证实了在思茅板块和印支板块之间存在一个开阔的石炭纪时期弧后盆地。  相似文献

川西北地区绵竹和安县等地发育的下卡尼阶岩性以灰色鲕粒灰岩、海绵礁丘粘结及障积成因的凝块石灰岩为主,上卡尼阶岩性突变为灰黑色页岩、粉砂岩,这与西特提斯地区卡尼阶在岩性和颜色上有很大的相似性。本次研究用激光微区碳、氧同位素测试方法分析了川西北地区卡尼阶中有孔虫、双壳类及腕足类化石壳体和植物叶片化石的碳、氧同位素,结果显示上卡尼阶化石中氧同位素值较下卡尼阶略有变小,上卡尼阶泥质粉砂岩中化石的碳同位素较下卡尼阶灰岩明显变小,可能反映了淡水输入的影响。结合研究区卡尼阶的沉积学特征,笔者认为川西北地区同样受到卡尼期洪水事件的强烈影响,潮湿气候条件下的淡水输入是造成川西北地区海绵礁(丘)大量周期性死亡及最后消失的影响因素之一。  相似文献
