New data for the Early and Late Carboniferous sections of the Russian platform (Moscow syneclise and Donbass) are presented. Magneto-mineralogical studies are carried out to identify the magnetic minerals—carriers of natural remanent magnetization. Extensive Late Paleozoic remagnetization of Carboniferous rocks is revealed. The obtained paleomagnetic data allowed us to determine the average paleomagnetic poles for the Gzhelian, Serpukhovian, and Visean stages of Carboniferous deposits of the Moscow syneclise. 相似文献

The period of interplanetary, geomagnetic and solar disturbances of September 7–15, 2005, is characterized by two sharp increases of solar wind velocity to 1000 km/s and great Dst variation of the geomagnetic field (~140 nT). The time variations of theoretical and experimental geomagnetic thresholds observed during this strong geomagnetic storm, their connection with solar wind parameters and the Dst index, and the features of latitudinal behavior of geomagnetic thresholds at particular times of the storm were studied. The theoretical geomagnetic thresholds were calculated with cosmic ray particle tracing in the magnetic field of the disturbed magnetosphere described by Ts01 model. The experimental geomagnetic thresholds were specified by spectrographic global survey according to the data of cosmic ray registration by the global station network. 相似文献

The results of the seismic observations made with two different experimental setups are presented. In the first case, the signals produced by underground nuclear explosions at the Semipalatinsk Test Site were measured on a linear profile, which allowed one to definitely outline the areas where the mechanical properties of rocks experienced considerable time variations. In the second case, the waves excited by the open-pit mine blasts recorded at a small-aperture seismic array at the Mikhnevo Geophysical Station (Institute of Geosphere Dynamics, Russian Academy of Sciences) on the East European Platform favored the estimation of variations in the integral characteristics of the seismic path. Measurements in aseismic regions characterized by diverse geological structure and different tectonic conditions revealed similar effects of the strong dependency of seismic parameters on the time of explosions. Here, the variations experienced by the maximum amplitudes of oscillations and irrelevant to seasonal changes or local conditions reached a factor of two. The generic periods of these variations including the distinct annual rhythm are probably the fragments of a lower-frequency process. The obtained results suggest that these variations are due to changes in the stressstrain state of active fault zones, which, in turn, can be associated with the macroscale motion of large blocks triggered by tidal strains, tectonic forces and, possibly, variations in the rate of the Earth’s rotation. 相似文献

of investigations of the contents of rareearth elements (Lu, Nd and Yb) whose concentrations in the major part of the analyzed
samples of seawater were lower than the limit of their quantitative determination. We present the ranges of the concentrations

We study the distribution of Fe, Mn, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Cd, Hg, Ag, and Au in present-day and ancient bottom sediments in the
shelf, slope, and deep-trench areas of the northeast part of the Black Sea. The samples were taken in 1990 in the Crimean,
Kerch-Taman, and Caucasian regions. The revealed character of the fields of concentration of metals does not allow one to
establish exact regularities in the distribution of Mn, Co, and Cu with Fe. It is shown that the values of the ratios of concentrations
of metals increase in the following direction: Au/Cu → Zn/Cu → Co/Fe → Ni/Fe → Mn/Fe → Hg/Cu → Ag/Cu → Cu/Fe. The data on
