Based on the data of deep-ocean ship observations of temperature T and salinity S, analysis is carried out of the fields of pair correlation coefficients between T and S at different depths as an additional characteristic of water masses in the layer 0–1000 m in the North Atlantic. As a result of analysis, surface, subsurface, and the upper part of North Atlantic intermediate waters are classified according to a degree of correlation between temperature and salinity. The emphasis was given to regions with low correlations, because they indicate the prevalence of the interaction processes that differ most from the typical mixing of two water masses with entirely different characteristics. 相似文献

The electrostatic charging and motion of dust near the surface of an asteroid is analyzed. It is shown that, despite the weak gravity, strong electric fields are needed to lift charged dust particles from the surface. The mechanism of generation of such fields, and the results of calculations of the motion of particles with various diameters in the electric fields near the dark side of the asteroid surface, is discussed. It is noted that the dust particle motion should be the most pronounced, as happens in the case of the Moon, in a certain neighborhood of the terminator. 相似文献

The international interest in shale oil has recently provoked special attention to the Russian unconventional oil-source formations, including the Bazhenov Formation of West Siberia, domanik deposits in the Volga–Ural region, and the lower Maikop Group of the Cis-Caucasus. High contents of para-autochthonous soluble organic matter (bitumen) in clayey–carbonate, clayey–siliceous, carbonate–clayey–siliceous rocks with low filtration–capacity properties results in significant uncertainties in the identification of the generation potential of organic matter (OM). Examination of a large database on the OM of the Bazhenov Formation allowed us to propose an optimum complex technique for study of the source rock potential and assessment of the amount of produced hydrocarbons in the kerogen-rich sediments. The investigations include a combination of Rock Eval pyrolysis prior to and after extraction with different solvents, the comparison of bituminological and pyrolytic characteristics, and the determination of the group composition of soluble organic matter, as well as chromatography and chromato-mass spectrometry. 相似文献

We report an 11-year long series of U BV RI observations and the results of our monitoring of the classical slow nova V723 Cas. We analyze the spectra of this star taken using the 6-m telescope of the Special Astrophysical Observatory of the Russian Academy of Sciences with a spectral resolution of 3.5–8.5 Å during the nebular stage and at the supersoft X-ray source phase (SSS). This systemhas a large orbital inclination and its orbital period is equal to 0.693265 days. The orbital period increases. We found low-amplitude light variations with the orbital period during the early stages of the outburst and even at the pre-maximum stage. The orbital light curve at the nebular stage is asymmetric and gradually increases its amplitude up to V=2 m in 2006. The asymmetry of the light curve of V723 Cas can be explained by the reflection effect, eclipse of the extended accretion disk, and high rate of mass transfer in the system. The light curve of V723 Cas has developed a plateau due to the SSS phase. In the spectrum of V723 Cas the transition to the SSS phase shows up in an order-of-magnitude increase of the flux of the [Fe X] λ 6374 Å emission, which forms in the expanding envelope. In addition, narrow emission lines λ 6466.4 Å (O V) and λ 6500.5 Å (Fe XVII) also emerged in the spectrum. 相似文献

It is proved that the projection of a triaxial ellipsoid with rectilinear meridians orthogonal to the rectilinear equator cannot be strictly conformal. The proof is based on the fact that due to the degeneration of the horizontal coordinate in latitude the relation between arc differentials in the projection depends linearly on the relation between the latitude and longitude differentials, but due to the dependence of the vertical coordinate on both latitude and longitude, the direction and certain value of this relation is retained upon the integration path selection. Other directions do not keep the relation between differentials of the corresponding arcs in the triaxial ellipsoid and in the projection plane. We have performed spectroscopy and photometry of eclipses of the pre-cataclysmic variable UUSge using the 6-m telescope of the Special AstrophysicalObservatory and the 1.5-mRussian-Turkish telescope. Our analysis of variations of the B-V and V-R color indices during the eclipses indicates that the temperature of the secondary is T eff,2 = 6000?6300 K. A similar value, T eff,2 = 6200 ± 200 K, follows from our comparison of the observed spectrum of UU Sge at the total eclipse phase and theoretical spectra of late-type stars. We identify 27 absorption lines of 11 chemical elements in the secondary??s spectrum. Their abnormal intensities indicate possible high-velocity turbulent motions (up to ?? turb = 10.0 km/s) in the atmosphere of the star and the presence of hot gas above its surface. 相似文献
