超慢速扩张的北冰洋Gakkel洋中脊具有六个沿扩张方向的线性基底隆起(本文编号为A—F).这些线性基底隆起在中轴两侧的地球物理场和地壳结构呈现不同程度的非对称性.本文利用Gakkel洋中脊的地形、空间重力异常(FAA)和航空磁力数据,计算了它的扩张速率、剩余地幔布格重力异常(RMBA)、地壳厚度和非均衡地形.根据中轴两侧地形和地壳厚度的对称关系,我们将六个基底隆起分为对称型和非对称型两种类型.整体上,B、D和F区基底隆起在中轴两侧的地形和地壳厚度的非对称幅值(两侧差值的绝对值)较小,其中地形的非对称幅值分别为~157m、~125m、~208m,地壳厚度的非对称幅值分别为~1km、~0.06km、~0.3km;而A、C和E区的非对称幅值较大,其中地形的非对称幅值分别为~510m、~410m、~673m,地壳厚度的非对称幅值分别为~2km、~2.5km、~1.1km.我们因此推断B、D和F区具有相对对称的地壳结构,而A、C和E区具有非对称的地壳结构.根据A、C和E区中轴两侧非均衡地形的对称关系和非对称地形的补偿状态,推测A区的非对称性可能是由岩浆分配不均所导致;而C区和E区的非对称性可能是由构造断层作用使断层下盘向上抬升变薄所导致.我们进一步推测洋中脊走向的改变可能使得构造作用更易集中于基底隆起的一侧.  相似文献

地史时期古气候的宏观演化和现代气候的变化具有一些重大的不同之处:1.在亿年的时间尺度上,全球古气候的分带产生了变异性;2.在同样的时间尺度上,全球古气候的分带出现了非对称性;3.就地球整个历史时期冷、热阶段的交替出现,不同的时间尺度,具有不同的调控因素所造成的周期,超越了米兰柯维奇(Milankovitch,1941)的天文气候理论。应该从不同层次的天地因素-银河系、太阳系和地球运动系统中去寻找更深层次的相关因素。  相似文献

The effect of asymmetry and irregularity of the inputted seismic waves on the earthquake-induced differential settlement of the buildings on natural subsoil is investigated in terms of the earthquake damage phenomena, theoretical analyses, dynamic triaxial tests and shaking table tests. A conclusion can be drawn from the investigation results that, the asymmetrical and irregular character of the inputted seismic waves themselves may have a significant contribution to the differential settlement of subsoil and buildings in some cases, and this is a necessary factor to be considered in reasonable evaluation for the differential settlement and other problems relating to the soil deformation due to earthquakes.  相似文献

统计了 1 90 0~ 1 999年全球大地震 (M≥ 7.0 )的纬向分布 ,进一步证实了全球大地震的分布的确存在不对称问题 ,北、南半球大地震发生的次数不对称 ,北半球多 ,南半球少 ;二个半球大地震集中分布的区域不对称 ,北半球大地震集中分布的区域为 1 5°~ 55°,南半球集中分布的区域为 0°~ 35°;北半球有 3个明显的大地震分布区间 ,即 1 5°~ 2 0°,35°~ 45°,50°~ 55°;两极地区无大地震。并且导出了计算日、月对地壳纬向水平引潮力达到极值的计算公式 ,根据日、月水平引潮力达到极值时的纬度分布的规律 ,较好地解释了全球大地震分布的不对称问题  相似文献

A five-stage model of the development of cross-sectional asymmetry is proposed in which alternating bar deposition and bed scour are important elements. Quasi-periodic reversals in the sense of asymmetry and a progressive increase in the magnitude of asymmetry at sections which develop an asymmetry initially are major features of the model. Application of Bridge's (1977) model confirms several features of the model and suggests that the degree of asymmetry is directly related to bend curvature. After the initial stages, subsequent changes to the cross-sectional and planimetric form of the channel may be intensified by the developing asymmetry through a system of positive feedbacks in which the levels of form and flow distortion are interrelated. Asymmetry appears to provide an important link between cross-sectional and plan form adjustment. Spatial series of asymmetry obtained for three lengths along a mountain stream contain features predicted by the model. In particular, the dominant peak in spectral density functions occurs at a frequency with a corresponding wavelength close to 4πw which has significance in terms of the meander wavelength-width relationship (Richards, 1976a). This consistency is remarkable considering local differences. In addition, sections in curved reaches tend to be more asymmetric, especially when sited at pools. However, contrary to expectation, channel width is not significantly correlated with asymmetry.  相似文献

Glaciation between northern hemisphere and southern hemisphere were synchronous, the ice age occurred not in high but in low value of the eccentricity of the earth's orbit. Such facts went against the precession principle of the astronomical theory of ice age. The inhomogeneous distribution of climate consisted with the inhomogeneous distribution of ocean and continent. The north/south antisymmetry may be attributed to southward deviation of the thermal center and northward deviation of the mass center within the mantle demonstrated by seismic tomography. The core - mantle angular momentum makes rotational energy into thermal energy and mantle plumes erupt in the ocean bottom. The earth's deformation by tidal force makes the eruption of mantle plumes strong. They are the reason that glaciation between the Northern Hemisphere and Southern Hemisphere are synchronous and the ice age occurred in low value of the eccentricity of the earth' s orbit. The tectonic movement is playing a most important part in global climate change.  相似文献

On rip-channelled beaches, intense rip currents are driven by waves due to alongshore variations in breaking-induced wave energy dissipation. This study addresses for the first time the potential development of tidal currents superimposed onto the wave-driven circulation. This phenomenon is observed on a rip-channelled meso-macrotidal beach (Biscarrosse, SW France). Field measurements show 20 to 45% stronger mean rip velocities during ebb than during flood. Numerical experiments reveal that this asymmetry is the signature of tidal currents developing over the rip channel morphology. This asymmetry is found to increase roughly linearly with increasing tidal range. These results are significant to beach safety and lifeguarding and stimulate further numerical exercises.  相似文献

利用1961—2010年多种海、气观测资料,分析了东部型(EP)和中部型(CP)ENSO事件海温异常的非对称性及可能原因,并讨论了两类ENSO事件的非对称性对大气环流的可能影响。结果表明,海温异常非对称性包括空间分布非对称、强度非对称以及持续性非对称。从动力学角度来看,虽然不同事件发展衰减阶段主导的动力作用不尽相同,但就两类事件强度非对称性而言,海洋垂直对流项起关键性的作用。此外,研究发现,无论是通过海温强迫直接影响的赤道地区或是通过遥相关影响的赤道外地区,大气非对称响应都表现出与海温异常非对称较强的一致性,其中东部型ENSO的非对称性分布与事件暖位相分布相似,而中部型ENSO的非对称性分布与事件冷位相分布相似,且东部型ENSO非对称性差异大于中部型ENSO。  相似文献

We investigate the relic abundance of asymmetric Dark Matter particles in quintessence model with a kination phase. The analytic calculation of the asymmetric Dark Matter in the standard cosmological scenario is extended to the nonstandard cosmological scenario where we specifically discuss the quintessence model with a kination phase. We found that the enhancement of Hubble rate changes the relic density of particles and anti-particles. We use the present day Dark Matter abundance to constrain the Hubble rate in quintessence model with a kination phase for asymmetric Dark Matter.  相似文献

Using an eddy-resolving two layer primitive-equation model forced by symmetric wind stress, we investigate the asymmetry of the recirculation of a double gyre (subpolar gyre and subtropical gyre). In the case where the layer thickness change is large, cyclonic recirculation becomes unstable and splits into meso-scale vortices more easily than anti-cyclonic recirculation in their developing stage. The subpolar gyre is, therefore, filled with more vortices than the subtropical gyre. Moreover, the effect of the upper layer potential vorticity on the lower layer potential vorticity in the subpolar gyre is stronger than that in the subtropical gyre. The characteristic of turbulence in the subpolar gyre is different from that found in the subtropical gyre and, therefore, the asymmetry of the recirculation of the double gyre is maintained by this difference. The asymmetry can not be produced in a quasi-geostrophic model because it ignores the nonlinearity associated with layer thickness change. Moreover, we investigate the effects of layer thickness and lateral viscosity on the asymmetry of the recirculation of the double gyre. In the case of realistic physical parameters, the asymmetry of the recirculation of the double gyre is noticeable from the view of the activities of the eddies. In the case with the shallowest upper layer, the position of separation of the western boundary current moves further southward.  相似文献
