In this study, some toxic metal such as Pb, Cd and Hg analyzes have been done in the nearshore surface sediments. Sediment samples have been collected from five parts from the European and Anotolian Shores of the Bosphorus during 2003-2004. Total Pb, Cd and Hg contents vary between <0.01μgg(-1) and 238μgg(-1); <0.01μgg(-1) and 0.92μgg(-1); 0.001μgg(-1) and 0.45μgg(-1), respectively. Contamination Factor (CF) values of Pb and Cd range between 1 and 3 whilst CF values of Hg are lower than 1 in all the stations. It means that there are no Hg metal enrichment by natural or anthropogenic inputs contrary to moderately contamination for Pb and Cd metals throughout the Bosphorus sediments.  相似文献

Active energy dissipation is proved to be very effective for abating seismic effects on buildings. The implementation of this concept in seismic design of buildings is studied by response simulations of a single storey building subjected to earthquake motion. Active energy dissipaters can be installed as part of the building lateral load bracing, and they regulate the strength and stiffness of the bracing during the building's response to the seismic events. The energy is dissipated when the bracing load exceeds the axial strength provided by the dissipater, and the bracing telescopes in and out. The design parameters of active energy dissipaters are described using the simulated response of a single storey building to ground pulse and harmonic ground excitation. The feasibility of the energy dissipater is demonstrated by the development and construction of a full-scale prototype device called an Active Slip Bracing Device (ASBD). The device utilizes Coulomb friction. The active characteristics are implemented by a computer controlled clamping mechanism on the friction interface. The ASBD's control of the strength and stiffness is investigated.  相似文献

This study presents daily and seasonal variations of PAH concentrations in Erzurum atmosphere in summer season of 2008 and in winter seasons of 2008 and 2009. Sampling location at Erzurum urban center was selected to represent the effects of traffic (University junction). 18 PAH compounds were analyzed by GC–MS. Average total PAH concentration (gas + particulate) of 18 PAH compounds were measured during 2008 winter (431 ngm?3) and summer (103 ngm?3) seasons at the University junction. Daily and seasonal variations of PAH compounds were investigated and compared with other urban centers in the literature. Multiple linear regression and artificial neural network (ANN) models were constructed to determine the impacts of meteorological parameters on measured individual PAH concentrations. Results of the multiple linear regression and ANN models indicated that wind speed, wind direction and intensity of total solar radiation were the most significant factors for the measured concentrations of PAH compounds.  相似文献

This study aimed to investigate the site characterization of the Senirkent Basin(Isparta) by using the microtremor(H/V) and surface wave analysis(ReMi) methods. Senirkent district, which is located on the foothill of the Kap? Mountain, are prone to seismic and landslide hazards. After the last landslip disaster(1995), the city has continued to develop on the alluvial basin. The microtremor data collected at 41 stations were analyzed. The predominant frequency and the amplification of the soil were found to be in the range of 1.8–6.6 Hz and 0.8–6.8, respectively. These are 4.0-6.8 Hz and 1-2.5 around the slope of the Kap? Mountain and 0.8-3.6 Hz and 3.0-6.6 at alluvium deposits of the valley. The ReMi data collected along 41 profiles were analyzed to obtain a V_(s30) map. The soil classifications were done by using V_(s30) values according to NEHRP soil classification criteria. The results showed that the southern area of the study had better soil conditions with V_(s30) between 360-1160 m/s and soil class between C and B. The alluvium deposits on the north are relatively low with V_(s30) in the range of 260-360 m/s and soil class D.  相似文献
