Based on the summarized geological and petrogeochemical information on the basaltic magmatism on the Pacific Ocean floor, the formation-geochemical rock types, their associations in the oceanic morpho-structures, and petrological provinces were distinguished. The features of the composition variations of the rocks presented mainly by magno-and ferrotholeiites in mid-oceanic ridges and by their petrological analogues at the plates (Fenner trend) were examined. The increase in the silica acidity and alkalinity of the rocks (Bowen trend) is moderately manifested in the eastern provinces of the ocean and is much more pronounced in the western areas (including the formation of complexes constituted by significant volumes of alkaline rocks).  相似文献

The role of natural and anthropogenic factors in the seasonal dynamics of the Fe and Mn ion migration in the Amur River water is examined. The contribution of the biogeochemical processes in the migration of the Fe and Mn ions at the water-river bed and groundwater-surface water contact zone is substantiated. The causes of the anomalously high Mn content in the Amur River water at the beginning of the 2005 freezing after the technogenic accident in China are discussed.  相似文献

Faint absorption bands detected in the visible range of the reflectance spectra of A-type asteroids suggest a various mineralogical composition of their surface. From the analysis of these bands, we conclude that, on some asteroids of this optical type, both olivine and pyroxene are present, while mostly clinopyroxene with minor admixtures of Cr-containing minerals, presumably chromites, is on the surface of others. A new estimate of the forsterite content in the olivine of the asteroids 289 Nenetta and 446 Aeternitas (Fo ~ 50–60%) made by the absorption band near 500 nm in their spectra agrees with the estimate we obtained previously from the modeling of the reflectance spectra of the asteroid Aeternitas.  相似文献

The results of studies in the area ofnumerical weather prediction and climate theory are presented. These results were obtained by the team of researchers of the Siberian school of mathematical modeling of atmosphere and ocean dynamics established by academician G.I. Marchuk. Academician V.P. Dymnikov played an enormous role in the development of this school by enriching it with new approaches and ideas. His contribution to the Siberian school of mathematical modeling was most strongly pronounced concerning three problems: numerical weather prediction for the Siberian region, the modeling of the climate system dynamics, and the mathematics and theory of climate.  相似文献

The development of the solar magnetic activity in cycle 24 has been analyzed. It has been shown that the significant north–south asymmetry of magnetic activity was accompanied by the asynchronous reorganization of solar magnetic fields in the northern and southern hemispheres. The formation of unipolar magnetic regions after the decay of activity centers has been studied. The meridional transport of unipolar magnetic regions leading to changes in the zonal structure of the solar magnetic field has been shown. Long-lived centers of flare activity have been found to exist during the periods of magnetic field restructuring. The spatiotemporal analysis of the flare ensemble making it possible to diagnose non-stationary processes in the solar atmosphere has been shown.  相似文献

In the present paper we seek to understand the geologic diversity of units in the northern hemisphere of Vesta using HST observations (Binzel et al., 1997). First, we compare colors R(0.673 μm)/R(0.953 μm) and R(0.673 μm)/R(1.042 μm) of Vesta’s units with those of V-type asteroids (vestoids) as well as howardite, eucrite, and diogenite meteorites (HEDs). This comparative analysis showed that: (i) on the color-color plot, regions on Vesta are clustered whereas vestoids and HEDs cover a wide range in color; (ii) very few vestoids or HEDs fall into Vesta’s color region. This implies that Vesta’s units are more homogenous than most vestoids and HEDs examined here and material of the units are slightly different from that of vestoids and HEDs. Assuming reasonable choice of end-member materials, an optical model (Shkuratov et al., 1999) was used to simulate intimate mixtures of particles at the surface of Vesta’s units. Simulation of albedo, colors, and four-point spectra of Vesta’s units reveals that the rock-forming material is nearly equal for all units and has HED-like composition. Diversity of the units depends on the minor constituents such as chromite and a neutral phase. The western units contain more chromite and neutral phase than the eastern, consequently albedo of the western units is lower and their four-point spectra are flatter. Olivine and feldspar are also needed to give the best fit for the calculated and observed albedos and colors of Vesta’s units, but being in minor amount in Vesta’s rocks they play a secondary role in contributing to the optical properties of the units. Questions about the proportions of HED-like rock and the constituent called neutral phase remain open. Spectrophotometric studies of Vesta with both higher spatial and spectral resolution as expected from NASA’s Dawn mission are needed for resolving these problems.  相似文献

In this paper, we present arguments for the presence of optically active Ti3+ in the structure of low iron pyroxenes to explain the strong 0.49-μm absorption band in spectra of E[II] asteroids. Such an interpretation supports the idea that E asteroid material is formed at high temperature in a strongly reducing medium. We also discuss the possibility of high temperature and hydrated rocks coexisting on some E asteroids. Our discussion is based on the idea of collisional evolution of aubrite parent bodies that was presented by Keil (1989).  相似文献

In this study, the hydrological characteristics of water in the Japan Sea are considered on the basis of the GDEM data of climatic distribution of temperature and salinity [1]. Using a regional-scale numerical model, we investigate the dynamics of these waters and perform a detailed analysis of the formation and propagation of intermediate waters in the Japan Sea. On the basis of numerical modeling, we reveal that the process of the formation and propagation of intermediate waters can be separated into three stages. The first stage is related to the accumulation of a significant water reserve with properties close to the type of intermediate waters in the vicinity of Peter the Great Bay. The second stage involves the penetration of these waters into intermediate layers as a result of deep convection in the presence of a winter monsoon. The third stage occurs for a reduced subpolar front and leads to the propagation of intermediate waters southward to the Ulung and Yamato basins as well as to their partial recirculation within the northern gyre.  相似文献
