Based on observations with the 6-m SAO RAS telescope, we have found that chemically peculiar star with a large depression of the continuum at λ5200 Å and strengthened silicon lines in the spectrum has a strong magnetic field. The longitudinal field component Be has a negative polarity and varies from ?300 G to ?2000 G with a period of 1.756 days. Photometric variations of brightness take place with the same period. We determined the variability of the radial velocity at times of about tens of years pointing to a possible binarity of the object. We have built a magnetic model of this star, determined the inclination angles of the rotation axis to the line of sight i = 20° and of the dipole axis to the rotation axis β = 116°, and the field strength at the pole is Bp = 10 kG. We carried out a chemical composition analysis and found a lack of helium for almost an order of magnitude, some overabundance of silicon and metal elements for more than an order of magnitude, particularly, cobalt for three orders of magnitude.  相似文献

We present the results of measurements of magnetic fields, radial velocities and rotation velocities for 92 objects, mainly main-sequence chemically peculiar stars. Observations were performed at the 6-m BTA telescope using Main Stellar Spectrograph with a Zeeman analyzer. In 2010, twelve new magnetic stars were discovered: HD 17330, HD 29762, HD 49884, HD 54824, HD 89069, HD 96003, HD 113894, HD 118054, HD 135679, HD 138633, HD 138777, BD +53.1183. The presence of a field is suspected in HD 16705, HD 35379 and HD 35881. Observations of standard stars without a magnetic field confirm the absence of systematic errors which can introduce distortions into the measurements of longitudinal field. The paper gives comments on the results of investigation of each star.  相似文献

We present the results of magnetic field measurements of four chemically peculiar (CP) stars, the members of the Orion stellar association OB1. Observations were carried out with the circular polarization analyzer at the Main Stellar Spectrograph of the 6-m telescope. All the studied stars refer to the subtype of Bp stars with weak helium lines. Canadian astronomer E. F. Borra detected a magnetic field in three of them (HD35456, HD36313, and HD36526) from the Balmer line magnetometer observations. HD35881 was observed for the first time for the purpose to search for a magnetic field. We obtained the following results: HD35456 is a magnetic star with longitudinal field variation range from +300 to +650 G and a period of 4.9506 days; HD35881 is possible a new magnetic star, the longitudinal component of which varies from?1 to +1 kGwith a period of 0.6998 days, however, a small number of lines broadened by rotation does not allow us to conduct measurements more accurately; HD36313 is a binary star with the components similar in brightness, the primary component is a magnetic star with broad lines, the magnetic field of the secondary component (the star with narrow lines) was not detected. Measurements in the Hβ hydrogen line showed the variations of the longitudinal component from ?1.5 to +2 kG with a period of 1.17862 days; a strong longitudinal field was detected in HD36526 (from 0 to +3000 G) varying with a rotation period of the star of 3.081 days. In all the cases, we observe considerable discrepancies with the data on magnetic fields of these objects obtained earlier.  相似文献

The paper presents results of measurements of magnetic-field longitudinal components B e , radial velocities V r , and projections of the rotation velocity in the line of sight v e sin i for 74 objects, mainly main-sequence chemically peculiar stars and standard stars. Observations were carried out in 2011 at the 6-m BTA telescope using the Main Stellar Spectrograph (MSS) with a Zeeman analyzer. Seven new magnetic stars were discovered: HD38129, HD47152, HD50341, HD63347, HD188501, HD191287, and HD260858. Three more stars were suspected to have magnetic fields. Observations of magnetic standard stars and non-magnetic stars confirm the absence of any systematic errors capable of introducing distortions into the B e longitudinal-field measurement results. Study of floral succession from the Cretaceous-Paleogene boundary interval in Russian Far East (Zeya-Bureya depression), Northeastern Russia (Koryak Upland), and Northern Alaska (Sagavanirktok River basin) is crucial for better understanding palaeoclimatic and palaeogeographic factors, which controlled events in vegetation evolution at that time. The succession of fossil floras in the Zeya-Bureya depression includes plant assemblages of the Santonian, Campanian, early Danian, Danian, and Danian-Selandian age. The early Danian Boguchan Flora keeps continuity in composition and dominating taxa with the Campanian Late Kundur Flora. The Koryak Flora of the Amaam Lagoon area (Northeastern Russia) is dated as late Maastrichtian based on correlation of plant-bearing beds with marine biostratigraphy, whereas the Early and Late Sagwon floras of Northern Alaska are dated back to the Danian-Selandian and early Paleocene based on palynological and macrofloristic data. The Early Sagwon Flora is most close to the late Maastrichtian Koryak Flora of the Amaam Lagoon area in composition and main dominants, while the Late Sagwon Flora is comparable with the Danian or Danian-(?) Selandian flora from the Upper Tsagayan Subformation of the Amur area. In a florogenic aspect, trans-Beringian plant migrations from northeastern Asia and southern palaeolatitudes of the Far East, which became possible due to Paleocene climate warming in Arctic, have played an important role in forming of the Paleocene floras of Northern Alaska. Floras of the Far East and high latitudes of Asia and North America show no evidence of catastrophic event at the Cretaceous-Paleogene boundary. Their development was most probably controlled by climate changes, plant evolution and migration.  相似文献

We present the results of magnetic field measurements of four chemically peculiar (CP) stars with helium abundance anomalies which are the members of the Orion stellar association OB1. The stars under study were classified as magnetic by other authors earlier. The present paper contains the results of the extensive study of the stars. Magnetic field measurements allowed us to conclude that HD36540 has a weak field and the longitudinal component B e does not exceed 500 G. The longitudinal field of HD36668 varies with the period P = 2. d 11884 and the amplitude from ?2 to +2 kG. The magnetic field of HD36916 has mainly negative polarity and varies within the range from 0 to ?1 kG with the period P = 1.d 565238. HD37058 is a magnetic star, the longitudinal field of which varies from ?1.2 to +0.8 kG with the period P = 14. d 659. The B e field variability pattern for the stars HD36916 and HD37058 is of a simple harmonic type. The longitudinal field of HD36668 is best described with two combined harmonic functions (“a doublewave”). The variability period of HD36540 is still undetermined. For all the stars from this paper, we measured radial velocities V r, axial rotation rates v e sin i, and determined basic parameters of atmospheres (effective temperatures T eff and gravity acceleration log g). We also estimated masses M, luminosities L, and radii R of the stars.  相似文献

The Maastrichtian Koryak flora from the Amaam Lagoon area is comprehensively studied with reference to available data on the stratigraphy of the study area and age assessment of the flora-bearing deposits. In the Koryak flora 32 species of plant fossils are identified and systematically described in the work. The established traits of the Koryak floristic assemblage are used to correlate it with the other assemblages close in age from different localities of Northeastern RNortheastern Russiaussia and Alaska. The results of correlation and taxonomic revision of plant fossils from the upper part of the Prince Creek Formation, Northern Alaska show that in the Anadyr-Koryak and Northern Alaska circum-Pacific regions the Koryak stage of flora development and the respective phytostratigraphic horizon (upper Maastrichtian-Selandian), of key significance for interregional correlation of continental deposits, are distinguishable. Floristic changes recorded in the northern circum-Pacific regions across the Cretaceous-Paleogene boundary suggest that the evolution of vegetation was gradual, controlled by climatic change, evolutionary factors and plant migration. These results are inconsistent with the postulated global significance of the ecological crisis at that time.  相似文献
