The Dachang mining district is the second largest producer of Sn in China and an important source of other metals. The known mineralizations can be divided into four groups: (1) cassiterite + Cu-Fe-Pb-Zn sulfides and sulfosalts, (2) Zn-Cu skarn, (3) Sb-W veins and (4) residual and placer concentrations of Sn and Fe oxides. Most orebodies are hosted by Upper Devonian calcareous, marly and quartzitic formations in spatial association with Cretaceous Yanshanian magmatites. A characteristic feature is the occurrence of stratiform, lens-shaped orebodies which appear to represent the root zone of overlying stockwork mineralizations. The metallogeny of the district may be interpreted in terms of an Upper Devonian Sn and polymetallic concentration with subsequent remobilization and, possibly, the introduction of additional elements during the late stages of the Yanshanian magmatism.  相似文献

This work describes a laboratory investigation of processes ruling the dissolution of galena (PbS) under conditions that mimic oxidising Earth surface environments. Freshly cleaved (001) galena surface was partially dissolved in solutions at different pH (HCl, pH between 1.2 and 5.8) and temperature (298 K) levels for several weeks in a flow-through reactor. Analysis of the galena surface after exposure to oxygen-saturated solutions was performed by XPS. The estimated thickness of surface layer formed after interaction for four weeks with solution at pH 5.8 was ∼0.5 nm. After the same time of interaction with solution at pH 1, the surface layer was at least 9 nm thick. Stationary dissolution rates were measured at different pH (between 1 and 5.8) and temperatures (298, 323, 348 K). Reaction order with respect to hydrogen ion averages 0.6 and slightly decreases with temperature. Dissolution rates, plotted vs. the reciprocal values of temperature, follow Arrhenius behaviour. Activation energies show a sharply discontinuous variation with pH. They are 13.5 ± 2 kJmol−1 at pH = 1.2 and 2.87, whereas at pH of 4.08, 4.7, and 5.8, they show, respectively, values of 48.8 ± 3.5, 45 ± 4, and 51 ± 4 kJmol−1. The apparent activation energy was also investigated by starting the experiment from pH 5.8 and then decreasing to pH 1.2. In this case, the apparent activation energies were 44 ± 4 kJmol−1 and 21 ± 4 kJmol−1, respectively.Apparent activation energies indicate a diffusion-controlled kinetic regime for pH <3, and a mixture of surface and diffusion control for pH between ∼4 and 5.8. A strong effect of solution pH on the mineral-water interface is revealed also by the observed pH dependence of surface-layer thickness. On the basis of the high-resolution XPS signals, the dependence of activation energies on solution pH should reflect a change of structure, and also chemical composition, of the mineral-water interface.  相似文献

Understanding and modelling pluvial flood patterns is pivotal for the estimation of flood impacts in urban areas, especially in a climate change perspective. However, urban flood modelling under climate change conditions poses several challenges. On one hand, the identification and collection of climate change data suitable for flood-related evaluations requires consistent computational and scientific effort. On the other hand, large difficulties can arise in the reproduction of the rainfall-runoff transformation process in cases when only little information about the subsurface processes is known. In this perspective, a simplified approach is proposed to address the challenges regarding the quantitative estimation of climate change effects on urban flooding for real case applications. The approach is defined as “bottom-up” because climate change information is not included in flood modelling, but it is only invoked for the interpretation of results. In other words, the challenge faced in this work is the development of a modelling strategy that is expeditious, because it does not require flood simulations for future rainfall scenarios, but only under current climate conditions, thus reducing the overall computational effort; and it is flexible, because results can be easily updated once new climate change data, scenarios or methods become available, without the need of additional flood simulations. To simulate real case applications, the approach is tested for a scenario analysis, where different return periods and hyetograph shapes are used as input for urban inundation modelling in Naples, Italy. The approach can support public and private stakeholders, such as land administrators and water systems managers; moreover, it represents a valuable and effective basis for climate change risk communication strategies.  相似文献

The La Crocetta mine near Porto Azzurro (Elba Island, Tuscany, Italy) is an important producer of raw material for the ceramic industry. Exploitation focuses on a pervasively sericitized porphyritic aplite of the Tuscan Magmatic Province, locally known as "eurite", which underwent significant potassium enrichment during sericitic alteration. Eurites are located along the hanging wall of the Elba Centrale Fault, a low-angle extensional lineament of regional significance. A later carbonatization stage, apparently associated with high-angle extensional tectonics, locally overprinted the sericitized facies. It is expressed by carbonate ± pyrite ± quartz veins, with adverse effects on ore quality. Sericitization was accompanied by addition of potassium, and loss of Na (± Ca, Fe). Rubidium was not enriched along with potassium during sericitization, contrary to what would be expected for interaction with late-magmatic fluids. New 40Ar–39Ar data from eurites provide an isochron age of about 6.7 Ma for the sericitization, whereas the age of the unaltered protolith is ca. 8.8 Ma. Field evidence indicates the Elba Centrale Fault to be the main channel for the hydrothermal fluids. On the other hand, the involvement of heat and/or fluids contributed by the Porto Azzurro pluton, which crops out in the La Crocetta area, is ruled out by field, geochemical and geochronological data (40Ar–39Ar age of Porto Azzurro =5.9 Ma, i.e. significantly younger than the sericitization event). Fluid inclusion studies suggest that sericitization was associated with a low-temperature (<250 °C) hydrothermal system. Fluids were locally boiling, of variable salinity (4–17 wt% NaCl equiv.), and contained some CO2 (XCO2≤0.027). Their ultimate source is not unequivocally constrained; meteoric and/or magmatic contributions may be possible. Low-salinity (≤2.6 wt% NaCl equiv.), low-temperature (<250 °C) fluids are associated with the late carbonate veining. They are considered to be of dominantly meteoric nature because of their low salinity. In summary, sericitization at La Crocetta is regarded as the product of a detachment fault-related, low temperature hydrothermal system, resulting from the structurally controlled focusing of meteoric and possibly magmatic fluids. Hence, potential targets for exploration for similar resources are represented by aplitic bodies located in the hanging wall of Elba Centrale Fault. The Furtei gold mine in Sardinia (Italy) exploits a volcanic-hosted high-sulphidation epithermal deposit. Large amounts of materials derived from exploitation are present in open pits, waste rock dumps and cyanidation tailings impoundment. Mineralized rocks in outcrops and waste dumps contain significant amounts of sulphides (mainly pyrite and enargite). These materials have a high potential for acid drainage generation and release of toxic elements (notably Cu and As, but also Al, Ni, Co and Cd) as pointed out by laboratory leaching tests and in agreement with chemical composition of waters draining the mining area, that show pH as low as 2, up to 180 mg/L Cu, up to 5 mg/L As, and up to 788 mg/L Al. On the other hand, leaching solutions and waters interacting with mineral assemblages of the propylitic alteration zone (mainly composed of chlorite, quartz, and calcite, with relic magmatic plagioclase) show higher pH, and lower metal loads. Leachates from cyanidation tailings show variable pH (between 6.2 and 9.7, depending on sulphide content in tailings); cyanide concentration varies between 110 µg/L and about 3 mg/L, whereas contents of toxic elements in leachates are, with the exception of Hg, within the limits of Italian regulations for non-dangerous industrial wastes. Reclamation plans provide for confinement of tailings within specific repositories. This measure should effectively reduce the environmental impact of these materials. Reclamation plans should also include an adequate management of other high-sulphide wastes.  相似文献

The Monte Ollasteddu deposit represents a major gold discovery in the Variscan basement of southeastern Sardinia. Gold occurs in late-Variscan extensional brittle structures hosted by meta-volcanic, and subordinately meta-sedimentary, rocks. The vein mineralogy is dominated by quartz; arsenopyrite is the main sulphide. Reconnaissance 40Ar–39Ar dating gives ages around ∼260 Ma on K-feldspar from mineralized veins, whereas metamorphic white mica from the host rock gives ages clustering at ∼307 Ma. The best age estimate for biotite from a nearby leucogranite body is 286.3±2.2 Ma. The Pb isotope signature of ore and gangue minerals is entirely consistent with literature data for Variscan deposits of Sardinia, and for European Variscan gold deposits. Fluid inclusion data point to the presence of both CO2-bearing and CO2-free fluids, with homogenization temperatures ranging from 220 to 415°C, with low-to-moderate salinities (0.4–6.2 wt% NaCl equivalent). Monte Ollasteddu shows several features similar to European Variscan gold deposits; however, the age of mineralization might post-date granitoid intrusion by as much as 30 Ma, being instead coeval with very late calc-alkaline basaltic dykes, marking the transition to a post-orogenic, pre-Tethyan geodynamic setting. The main purpose of this work concerns the development and testing of an overland flow model based on the two‐dimensional fully dynamic shallow water equations. Three key aspects, fundamental to get accurate, efficient and robust computation of surface runoff at basin scale, are discussed by transferring the main findings obtained by the recent research on the topic of dam‐break wave and flood propagation in the context of rainfall–runoff modelling. In particular, attention is focused on the numerical flux and bottom slope source terms computation, on a numerical treatment of friction slope terms and on an algorithm for dealing with wetting/drying fronts. The performances of the numerical model have been preliminarily evaluated using experimental or ideal tests characterized by very critical conditions for the stability of a numerical model. Then, attention was focused on a real event occurred in a sub‐basin of Reno river in Italy to analyse the suitability of the model in simulating real flood situations. 随着数值模式的不断完善和观测技术的不断提高,资料同化逐渐成为能够进一步提高数值预报水平的一种有效方法。20世纪70年代,资料同化开始引入空气质量预报领域,成为当前大气环境科学研究的一个新方向。简要介绍了资料同化的含义,较详细地介绍了Kalman滤波法、四维变分同化法、牛顿松弛法的基本思想和优缺点,重点阐述了国内外资料同化在空气质量预报中的研究应用情况,最后指出资料同化应用于空气质量预报时存在的问题和今后的研究方向。  相似文献
