Under the Canadian Certified Reference Mate-vials Project (CCRMP), four new ore reference materials, one uranium ore BL-5 and three sulphide concentrates (CCV-1, CPB-1 and CZN-1) have been recently issued. A brief outline is given of the approach used in the Canadian Certified Reference Materials Project (CCRMP) to prepare and certify reference ores and related materials. This paper aims at investigating some physical and mechanical characteristics of cemented tailings paste incorporating different amounts of crushed waste rocks (hereinafter called paste aggregate fill, PAF) for underground stope filling. Different mixture formulations were prepared with three classes of crushed waste rocks (or aggregate) grain size, namely 0/10, 0/15 and 0/20 mm. The amount of crushed waste rocks in the PAF mixtures ranges from 10 to 50% by volume (% v/v) (or 8–45% by mass, %m) of dry mill tailings and crushed waste rocks. The results show that the addition of crushed waste rocks in cemented tailings paste mixtures allows a significant unconfined compressive strength (UCS) development after 28 and 90 days of curing. The highest UCS was obtained from the mixtures containing 50% v/v of crushed waste rocks of class of size 0/15 mm. The PAF mixtures with the coarser crushed waste rocks (class of size of 0/20 mm) exhibit some particles segregation.  相似文献

We discuss the equilibrium solutions of four different types of collinear four-body problems having two pairs of equal masses. Two of these four-body models are symmetric about the center-of-mass while the other two are non-symmetric. We define two mass ratios as μ 1 = m 1/M T and μ 2 = m 2/M T, where m 1 and m 2 are the two unequal masses and M T is the total mass of the system. We discuss the existence of continuous family of equilibrium solutions for all the four types of four-body problems.  相似文献

Salinity in the Casamance River Basin has been on the rise for quite some time. This is believed to be further accentuated by declining rainfall. The salinity patterns in time, space and frequency domains are analysed. Abstract

Phytoplankton concentration in West Point Lake, Georgia, appears to be related to the availability of nutrients as measured by AGP (algal growth potential) assays. AGP and phytoplankton concentrations change with distance and the rates of change are greater at higher temperatures than at lower temperatures. Little or no decrease in the AGP or increase in the phytoplankton concentration occurs at temperatures less than about 13°C. Phytoplankton concentration is related to water temperature and distance downstream from Franklin in the lake at sites where the AGP is greater than about 0.5 mg/l.  相似文献

Four reference soils have been prepared and certified through the cooperation of Energy, Mines and Resources Canada and Agriculture Canada. Their origin and details of preparation and characterization are presented. Thirty-six laboratories participated in the international certification program by providing approximately 16000 results for 65 elements. One or more of the reference soils were certified for 18 elements and preliminary data were obtained for another 47.  相似文献

The Luconia Province – offshore Sarawak – is a key geological unit for understanding the distribution of hydrocarbon resources in Malaysia. Nevertheless, little effort has been made to address the palaeoenvironmental characteristics of the Tertiary carbonates in the key sector of Central Luconia. We study the sedimentology and petrography of core samples from a well in Central Luconia, for which thirteen microfacies have been identified reflecting different depositional settings. This is the first microfacies scheme elaborated for Luconian carbonates. Lithofacies and microfacies distribution are compatible with deposition in a reef complex, originating around a framework reef, within the euphotic zone. Sediments were deposited in environments of backreef, reef crest, and forereef. The fair weather wave base is marked by the presence of coralline red algae, foraminifera, decreasing degree of bioclast fragmentation and other microfacies features. As a result, a depositional-environmental model is constructed, depicting a reef complex built around a framework reef developed on the margin of an isolated platform. In addition, an innovative, preliminary time series analysis of facies, microfacies and depositional environment data reveal the existence of seasonal cycles in the stacking patterns of facies and microfacies.  相似文献
