New data on local mineral associations and the microheterogeneity of minerals and fluid inclusions in gabbro were obtained for the gabbro–peridotite oceanic core complex with a long-lived detachment fault controlling the hydrothermal activity. It is assumed that the hydrothermal hydrogen-bearing fluid with a NaCl content of >30 wt % is formed in the seawater/harzburgite (~1/5) reaction of serpentinization. The brine residual after serpentinization interacted with gabbro at the final stages of crystallization of an intrusion and assimilated some components (K, REEs, and Ba) from the residual melt. The interaction was resulted in metamorphic transformations of gabbro at decreasing temperature below 500°C. The reaction of the decomposition of magmatic titanomagnetite with the transition of iron reduced to Fe2+ into newly formed chlorinebearing amphibole at 540–450°C and logf(O2) from–20 to–24 is shown.

The role of the benthic ciliofauna of the Tsibulnik bay of the Kremenchug reservoir in the comsumption of the primary production of phytomicrobenthos and the destruction of organic Substances is shown. In July all over the buy ciliates had consumed 41 % of the benthic primary production. During the process, consumption rates had reached 1.34 kJ/m2 d on seperate sections of the bottom. Sufficiently high is the role of these protists in the destruction of organic substances. They had destroyed 1.4… 1.5% of the whole mineralised organic substances in summer and 10… 11% in autumn. The authors made a conclusion on the importance of the benthic ciliofauna in the transformation of organic substances in an eutrophic bay.  相似文献

The occurrence rates of combinatorial types of simple polyhedra {111} are analyzed for natural and artificial diamonds. The empirical occurrence rates of 14 possible polyhedra in an isotropic environment are obtained based on numeral simulation of growth forms of octahedral crystals by the Monte-Carlo method. The phenomenon of dissymmetrization by Curie’s principle related to the crystallization conditions is established for artificial and natural diamonds.  相似文献

We have determined the physical (T eff, logg, ζ) and kinematic (V e sini,V r ) parameters and abundances for 14 chemical elements in the atmosphere of the “antiflare” variable RZ Psc, using medium-resolution spectra obtained with the Coudé spectrographs of the 6-m telescope of the Special Astrophysical Observatory and the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory 2.6-m Shain telescope. The chemical composition of the star is characterized by a slight metal deficiency; however, the iron and calcium abundances are consistent with the solar values within the errors. We also detected a peculiar dip (depression) of the continuum level near the Hα line. Assuming that this depression and the photospheric Hα line have independent origins, we calculated the hydrogen abundance X in the atmosphere of RZ Psc. The resulting value X=0.70 (of the solar value) implies a relative deficiency of hydrogen. Together with the spatial location of the star, these properties provide evidence that RZ Psc is an evolved star, most likely belonging to population II.  相似文献

Here we present new data from a systematic Sr, Nd, O, C isotope and geochemical study of kimberlites of Devonian age Mirny field that are located in the southernmost part of the Siberian diamondiferous province. Major and trace element compositions of the Mirny field kimberlites show a significant compositional variability both between pipes and within one diatreme. They are enriched in incompatible trace elements with La/Yb ratios in the range of (65–300). Initial Nd isotope ratios calculated back to the time of the Mirny field kimberlite emplacement (t = 360 ma) are depleted relative to the chondritic uniform reservoir (CHUR) model being 4 up to 6 ɛNd(t) units, suggesting an asthenospheric source for incompatible elements in kimberlites. Initial Sr isotope ratios are significantly variable, being in the range 0.70387–0.70845, indicating a complex source history and a strong influence of post-magmatic alteration. Four samples have almost identical initial Nd and Sr isotope compositions that are similar to the prevalent mantle (PREMA) reservoir. We propose that the source of the proto-kimberlite melt of the Mirny field kimberlites is the same as that for the majority of ocean island basalts (OIB). The source of the Mirny field kimberlites must possess three main features: It should be enriched with incompatible elements, be depleted in the major elements (Si, Al, Fe and Ti) and heavy rare earth elements (REE) and it should retain the asthenospheric Nd isotope composition. A two-stage model of kimberlite melt formation can fulfil those requirements. The intrusion of small bodies of this proto-kimberlite melt into lithospheric mantle forms a veined heterogeneously enriched source through fractional crystallization and metasomatism of adjacent peridotites. Re-melting of this source shortly after it was metasomatically enriched produced the kimberlite melt. The chemistry, mineralogy and diamond grade of each particular kimberlite are strongly dependent on the character of the heterogeneous source part from which they melted and ascended.

This historical essay highlights the state of the art for astronomical researches in Lviv dating back to the end of 18th century, the information is given concerning earliest documentary substantiated astronomical observations held in Lviv. The circumstances of foundation and building astronomical Observatory at Jesuit College (University) are depicted, the foundation date is determined by archival materials, it is 15 of May, 1771. We have investigated the role played by Observatory during the incorporation of Galicia (Halychyna) into Austro-Hungarian empire. The biographical data are collected and arranged concerning prominent astronomers and engineers of those times, the lives of which were somehow connected to Lviv Observatory.  相似文献

The main methods of estimating the mean volume of ciliates are given: - cell-shape comparison to a simple geometrical figure, - direct determination, - models method. Spinel peridotite, metamorphosed in high-pressure conditions, was first described within the Western part of the Central Asian Orogenic Belt. The spinel peridotite has the characteristics of Mg–Cr ultramafites indicating the mantle origin of its protolith. The preliminary estimation of the metamorphism peak for the model system MgO–Al2O3—SiO2–Cr2O3 (MASCr) is 10–19 kbar at 680–800°C.  相似文献
