Earthquake data from Δ<2° and of indermediate depth of focus in the upper mantle near the Kliuchevskaya volcanic region show a screening effect of longitudinal and transverse waves. New arguments supporting the reality of large-scale fluctuations in the density of the visible matter in deep galaxy surveys are presented. A statistical analysis of the radial distributions of galaxies in the COSMOS and HDF-N deep fields is presented. Independent spectral and photometric surveys exist for each field, carried out in different wavelength ranges and using different observing methods. Catalogs of photometric redshifts in the optical (COSMOS-Zphot) and infrared (UltraVISTA) were used for the COSMOS field in the redshift interval 0.1 < z < 3.5, as well as the zCOSMOS (10kZ) spectroscopic survey and the XMM-COSMOS and ALHAMBRA-F4 photometric redshift surveys. The HDFN-Zphot and ALHAMBRA-F5 catalogs of photometric redshifts were used for the HDF-N field. The Pearson correlation coefficient for the fluctuations in the numbers of galaxies obtained for independent surveys of the same deep field reaches R = 0.70 ± 0.16. The presence of this positive correlation supports the reality of fluctuations in the density of visible matter with sizes of up to 1000 Mpc and amplitudes of up to 20% at redshifts z ~ 2. The absence of correlations between the fluctuations in different fields (the correlation coefficient between COSMOS and HDF-N is R = ?0.20 ± 0.31) testifies to the independence of structures visible in different directions on the celestial sphere. This also indicates an absence of any influence from universal systematic errors (such as “spectral voids”), which could imitate the detection of correlated structures. 相似文献

We assess the potentia4lities of ultrawideband (UWB) electromagnetic pulse sounding of low-resistivity geoenvironments using the ground-penetrating radar (GPR) system developed by us and compare the obtained results with 2D electrical resistivity tomography and standard GPR data. The research was performed in an area of Quaternary clay deposits with a resistivity of 20-50 Ohmm. For an OKO-2 GPR antenna with a center frequency of 150 MHz, the sounding depth is 2-4 m, whereas UWB sounding provides penetration of the GPR pulse to a depth of 30-40 m. Deep UWB sounding of low-resistivity environments is possible under the following conditions: use of generators based on drift step recovery diodes (DSRDs), high matching of the UWB receiving and transmitting antennas to the environment, and an increase in the noise immunity of the recording system, in particular, due to a decrease in the intensity of air waves. 相似文献

Natural disasters, the processes of their origin and large-scale technogenic catastrophes are accompanied by anomalous physical phenomena in near-Earth space (NES). In order to reveal such phenomena, record and investigate them, complex NES monitoring is required with the use of specially designed research equipment onboard a low-orbiting spacecraft. We consider the results of ground tilt observations in the area of Klyuchevskoi Volcano, Kamchatka at the Klyuchi and Apakhonchich
stations using photoelectric tiltmeters. An anomalous tilt was recorded during a period of increased activity in the summit
crater of Klyuchevskoi Volcano in November 1979. In January and February 1980 three more cases of anomalous tilting before
the volcano’s active periods were observed. The tilts exhibit some common kinematic features that are quite consistent with
the activity periods. Various disturbing influences were estimated as affecting the observations of tilts related to seismic
and volcanic events. For the first time in Kamchatka, the parameters of the five principal elastic-tide waves have been determined.
Sea tides exerted an indirect effect on the amplitude factors γ(M2) on the E-W component at both sites to decrease them relative
to the global value, γ(M2) = 0.7. We investigated the influence of sea tides on the elastic solid earth tide along the Trans-Kamchatka
and Kola traverses. The observed and theoretical γ(M2) factors at both traverses situated in different geodynamic areas are
