Analysis of aerological radiosonde data in the period of 2000–2009 shows that, in the warm period of the year, the air temperature over Moscow region is higher in the first half of the week than in the second half. The statistically significant (at the α = 0.05 significance level) air temperature differences between Tuesday and Friday, as well as between Wednesday and Friday, reach 0.8°C and are manifested in the atmospheric boundary layer (according to nighttime observations) and in the middle troposphere (according to daytime observations). In the upper troposphere, the weekly temperature cycle positively correlates with the weekly cycle of air pressure, while in the lower troposphere, it positively correlates with the weekly cycle of water vapor content. In the upper troposphere, the southerly wind is strengthened in the middle of the week, and northerly wind is strengthened on the weekend. In the boundary layer, the temperature changes induce the weekly cycle of the static stability of the atmosphere.  相似文献

The paper presents the results of an analysis of the correspondence between model representations the monthly mean diurnal dependences of critical frequency and vertical profiles of plasma frequency at local noon at IZMIRAN station for the middle months of the four seasons of 2014, the year of the maximum solar activity in the current 24th cycle. It is shown that in general the IRI model reliably describes the daily variation of foF2, and the smallest discrepancy is achieved when its basic input parameter is given by the ionospheric index of solar activity IG12. An exception is April, for which there is a fundamental discrepancy with the model both in the daily variation of the critical frequency foF2 and in the N e (h)-profile for local noon time. For this month, the inadequacy in the model representation of the vertical distribution of the electron density turned out to be very significant in the calculation of the MUF: the relative error can reach 20%. The simulation results are confirmed by data from oblique-incidence ionospheric radio sounding.  相似文献

Based on the measurements of precipitable water vapor (PWV) and total column ozone (TCO) from the MODIS satellite instruments (Aqua/Terra platforms), the connections between the North Atlantic Oscillation (NAO) and the anomalies in PWV and TCO over European Russia (ER) in summer 2010 are analyzed. It is found that the PWV (TCO) anomalies over the northern ER in summer 2010 positively (negatively) correlated with the NAO, and the local correlations reached 0.68 (–0.55). The physical mechanisms of the correlations are discussed. A comparative analysis of the relationships between the NAO and the regional PWV and TCO anomalies over ER during the summer seasons of 2000–2015 is carried out.  相似文献

Based on the AIRS satellite spectrometer data (the Aqua platform), the peculiarities are studied of the field of total ozone (TO) under prolonged blocking conditions over the European part of Russia in summer 2010. It is revealed that the spatial distribution of TO values during the period of blocking was characterized by negative TO anomalies (up to -37 DU on the first ten days of August) over the western and northern peripheries of the blocking anticyclone and by positive TO anomalies (up to 60 DU) over the troughs adj oinmg the anticyclone. Possible mechanisms of the formation of TO anomalies are discussed. The results are presented of the validation of TO measurements with the AIRS spectrometer in May-September 2010 obtained from the data of TO measurements with Brewer spectrophotometers at Kislovodsk and Obninsk stations of the global ozone network.  相似文献

The spatial and temporal variabilities of the aerosol optical thickness (AOT) and the total carbon monoxide content (CO) in the period of development and weakening of mass forest and peatbog fires in the European Russia territory (ERT) in the summer of 2010 are investigated from data of the AOT and CO satellite observations. The intensities of aerosol and CO emissions in the period of mass fires and the ratio of the emission factors of aerosol particles and CO are estimated on the basis of calculations of the smoke and CO masses over the ERT. The interrelation between variations in the levels of the regional pollution by combustion products and the variability of meteorological parameters is investigated. Various aspects of the manifestation of radiation effects of aerosols are discussed. The synchronization of weekly signals of the AOT, CO, and meteorological parameters in the period of mass fires is noted.  相似文献
