A statistical analysis of the variations of the brightness coefficient in the ocean-atmosphere system in the visible band was carried out using the results of remote measurements from the INTERKOSMOS-21 satellite. The variability of the seawater optical parameters and the Rayleigh component of light scattering were eliminated by computing the variations of the signals from the local average values along the route of measurements. The derived spectral dependence of the aerosol scattering component is characterized by a slight increase when the wavelength increases.Translated by Mikhail M. Trufanov.  相似文献

We study examples of surveys of the Black Sea performed with the help of a SeaWiFS satellite instrument. It is shown that the results of measurements carried out in spectral channels of 510 and 555nm give information on the basic specific features of the space and time variability of the characteristics of absorption and scattering of light in seawater. The use of a spectral channel of 412nm is inefficient due to the low reliability of the results of the procedure of atmospheric correction performed according to standard algorithms. The results of model calculations demonstrate that the predominant contribution to the absorption of light in the Black Sea in summer is made by the yellow substance.  相似文献

By analyzing, as an example, the data of observations of the Black Sea from the space in autumn 1998, we conclude that, in some cases, the atmospheric distortions manifest themselves in all measuring channels of SeaWiFS instruments and lead to significant errors in determining the concentration of chlorophyll according to the standard NASA algorithm. After additional rejection of the data with negative values of the spectral brightness of the sea surface at a wavelength of 412 nm, the results of evaluation the concentration of chlorophyll are in good agreement with the available data of direct measurements. The crystal chemistry of Fe ions in Cr-spinel from the largest Ural ultramafic massifs has been studied by Mössbauer spectroscopy at room temperature and the boiling temperature of liquid nitrogen. The spectra substantially depend on the mineral composition (stoichiometry) and measurement temperature; Fe2+ and Fe3+ doublets significantly overlap; the Fe2+ doublet lines are markedly broadened. According to the Mössbauer data, the degree of iron oxidation is 7–35% and appreciably differs from that in the stoichiometric approximation. The disturbance of integral stoichiometry by di- and trivalent cations (deviation of the Me3+/Me2+ value from 2.0) may be caused not only by partial inversion of the mineral structure but also by local micro- and nanoscale heterogeneity of the mineral, clustering of Fe2+ and Al (Cr, Fe3+) cations, and the appearance of associates. Possible application of the QS-distribution method for analyzing nonequivalent nuclear iron states and the thermal dynamics of Mössbauer spectra for studying local clustering effects of iron cations is discussed. It is shown that these approaches give new information on local heterogeneity of structural sites occupied by iron ions.  相似文献

We demonstrate the possibility of determination of the spectral characteristics of absorption and backward scattering of light in the Black Sea according to the data of a SeaWiFS satellite device. We use specially selected data of observations obtained under favorable atmospheric conditions. It is shown that the results of calculations performed by using different methods are almost identical and weakly depend on the model parameters of the spectral course of the coefficients of absorption of light by yellow substance and its scattering by suspended particles.  相似文献

We consider the problem of quantitative evaluation of the optical characteristics of seawater according to the data of satellite measurements. The principal physical mechanisms responsible for the errors in the atmospheric correction made with the help of the standard NASA algorithm are established. It is shown that the models of atmospheric aerosol realized with the help of this algorithm are inconsistent with its actual properties over the Black Sea.  相似文献

The paper addresses the problem of sea color measurements made by satellites. A special mathematical procedure is proposed for determining spectral dependence of the aerosol component of the light backscattering in the atmosphere. The procedure is based on conducting repeated observations of the same sea area after a sufficiently brief period, during which seawater properties remain virtually unchanged, while aerosol fields undergo considerable changes.
