The present paper studies the seasonal change, quantitative variation and distributional patterns of planktonic Ostracoda along the western coast of the Taiwan Straits and their relationship with various environmental factors, especially those of the movement, intensification and decay and interaction of different water systems.Except for some study of Ostracqda in the Straits[14], ours is based on the samples of planktonic Ostracoda and field hydrological and chemical data collected during the two comprehensive investigations (Oct. 1961-Sept. 1962 (no data for July, 1962) 23°16′-24°15′ N, 117°16′-118°13′E and March, 1963-Feb. 1964, 24°34′-25°43′ N, 118°46′-119°52′ E).The total amounts of planktonic Ostracoda along the western coast of Taiwan Straits show evident seasonal variations with greater amounts in summer and autumn. The yearly maximum appeared in October and subpeaks in May and August. The quantity of the animal was lowest from January to April.There are all together 17 species 相似文献

Halocyprid ostracods are appreciable part of ostracods floating through virtually everywhere in marine environment.In this study,we describe a new species of genus Polyconchoecia Xiang,Chen and Du,2018,tribe Conchoeciini Chavtur and Angel,2011,family Halocyprididae Dana,1853 from the middle of the South China Sea.Polyconchoecia chenii sp.nov.is very close to P.commixtus Xiang,Chen and Du,2018.But it differs from P.commixtus by the distinctions of locations of major glands of carapace and the characteristics of appendages:more posteriorly situated left asymmetric gland of carapace,no right asymmetric gland;segmented frontal organ;the endopod 2 of the first antenna with a very small seta;a-and c-setae of the first antenna with long end joint have long end joint,the b-and d-setae have no end joint,spinose e-seta without end joint;the e-seta of the second antenna is present;teeth side is distinctive;the setal counts of the mandible,maxilla,fifth limb,and sixth limb are individual.The locations of the major glands on carapace and the characteristics of the first antenna can be the key of the new species.This work is the second discovery of the genus Polyconchoecia from the world. 相似文献

中国近海均不同程度地受控于黑潮,此外,对马暖流、黄海暖流、黄海混合水、台湾暖流、粤东沿岸流、闽渐沿岸流、南海暖流以及大陆径流也是左右海洋环境变异的主要因素,尽管后者各流系的影响往往表现出明显的区域性质,但其影响力有时是强大的,并成为介形类分布的主要制约因素。本文着重阐明相关性明确的夏、冬两季各流系对浮游介形类的调控作用。 相似文献

本文根据1994年7月和12月于厦门西港所获得的调查资料,分析了浮游动物的丰度及其季节和年际变化,讨论了浮游动物的物种和生态类群多样性,结果表明,7月浮游动物湿重生物量月均值约为12月的2.56倍,与历史资料相比,呈逐年趋势;7月和12月在西港共记录浮游动物55种和多种浮游幼体,它们分别隶属于5个生态类群,文中还分析了潮汐地浮游动物分布的影响。 相似文献

A NEW SPECIES OF EUCONCHOECIA FROM THE EAST CHINA SEA 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
The East China Sea Subbureau of National Bureau of Oceanography carried out a comprehensive investigation in the East China Sea (28°-34°N, west to 127°E) from December, 1977 to November, 1978. From the planktonic ostracoda samples, we have discovered three male or female specimeans belonging to Euconchoecia, but different from five known species of the genera. Based on the observation and comparision, we identified them as a new species of Euconchoecia and named them as Euconchoecia bifurcata n. sp. to demonstrate their unique characteristic of having bifurcate front alorgan. 相似文献
