Abstract— The lake Lappajärvi impact crater lies in Paleoproterozoic Svecofennian metasedimentary rocks, on the western side of the Central Finland granitoid complex (~1.9 Ga). Two conflicting ages have been reported for the meteorite impact: an age of 77.3 ± 0.4 Ma on the basis of Ar‐Ar whole‐rock data from impact melt samples and a paleomagnetic age of 195 Ma. During studies on impact crater indicator minerals at Lappajärvi, zircons with an atypical appearance were found in suevite boulders. These zircons seemed to have been affected by impact shock metamorphism and it was considered that they would be good candidates for ion microprobe U‐Pb dating, allowing a new and independent age estimate for the impact event at Lappajärvi. Four spot analyses on two black‐coated zircons plotted close to the upper intercept end of the concordia curve giving an approximate age of 1.8 Ga for the source rock. Seventeen analyses were done on three dull zircon grains showing patchy impact‐related partial recrystallization. Most of these data fell fairly well on a single discordia line with intercept ages of 73.3 ± 5.3 Ma and 1854 ± 51 Ma. However, five of the data spots near the lower intercept end fell on the younger side of the line. This was interpreted to indicate post‐impact loss of lead. Importantly, the new ion microprobe U‐Pb age of 73.3 ± 5.3 Ma is in a very good agreement with the previously reported Ar‐Ar age.  相似文献

This paper presents the optimal design procedure of Tuned Mass Damper(TMD)for re-ducing vibration of an actual steel jacket offshore platform excited by random wave loading.In this study,a frequency domain is taken.The force on the structure is determined by use of the linearized Morisonequation for an input Power Spectral Density(PSD)of wave elevation.The sensitivity of optimum valuesof TMD to characteristic parameters of random wave spectrum is analyzed.An optimized TMD designfor the modeled platform is given based on design conditions and the findings of the study.  相似文献

Polar metabolites resulting from petroleum biodegradation are measured in groundwater samples as TPHd unless a silica gel cleanup (SGC) is used on the sample extract to isolate hydrocarbons. Even though the metabolites can be the vast majority of the dissolved organics present in groundwater, SGC has been inconsistently applied because of regulatory concern about the nature and toxicity of the metabolites. A two‐step approach was used to identify polar compounds that were measured as TPHd in groundwater extracts at five sites with biodegrading fuel sources. First, gas chromatography with mass spectrometry (GC‐MS) was used to identify and quantify 57 individual target polar metabolites. Only one of these compounds—dodecanoic acid, which has low potential human toxicity—was detected. Second, nontargeted analysis was used to identify as many polar metabolites as possible using both GC‐MS and GC×GC‐MS. The nontargeted analysis revealed that the mixture of polar metabolites identified in groundwater source areas at these five sites is composed of approximately equal average percentages of organic acids, alcohols and ketones, with few phenols and aldehydes. The mixture identified in downgradient areas at these five sites is dominated by acids, with fewer alcohols, far fewer ketones, and very few aldehydes and phenols. A ranking system consistent with systems used by USEPA and the United Nations was developed for evaluating the potential chronic oral toxicity to humans of the different classes of identified polar metabolites. The vast majority of the identified polar metabolites have a “Low” toxicity profile, and the mixture of identified polar metabolites present in groundwater extracts at these five sites is unlikely to present a significant risk to human health.  相似文献

提出了一种新的利用多时相Landsat TM影像数据进行的厚云及其阴影去除的方法。该方法通过分析厚云及其阴影的光谱特征, 设计了厚云和云阴影识别模型。该算法的实现是采用图像配准技术、非监督分类、像元替换等运算, 计算出厚云和云阴影区域的TM影像替换数据, 进而得到消除或者减少云影响的TM遥感影像。试验结果表明本文提出的厚云及其阴影去除方法效果很好, 能消除或者弱化云对TM影像数据的影响。  相似文献

Air down-the-hole(DTH)hammer drilling has long been recognized to have the potential of drilling faster than conventional rotary drill,especially in some hard rocks such as granite,sandstone,limestone,dolomite,etc.with the same weight on bit(WOB)and rotations per minute(RPM).So,it has been widely used in many drilling fields including mineral resource exploration drilling,oil and gas drilling and geothermal drilling.In order to reduce drilling cost by selecting optimal drilling parameters,rate of penetration(ROP)should be estimated accurately and the effects of different factors on ROP should be analyzed.In this research,ANN model with several multi-layer perception back propagation(BP)networks for predicting ROP of air DTH hammer drilling was developed using controllable parameters such as impact energy,impact frequency,WOB,RPM and bit operating time for the formations with a certain drillability index of rock.Several BP neural networks with the different neurons in hidden layers were developed and compared for selecting optimal architecture of ANN.The effects of the drilling parameters such as impact energy,impacting frequency,WOB,RPM and bit operating time on the ROP of air DTH hammer drilling were investigated by trained ANN.From the analyses,the optimum range of drilling parameters for providing high ROP were determined and analyzed for a formation with a certain drillability index of rock.The methodology proposed in this study can be used in many mathematical problems for optimization of drilling process with air DTH hammer.  相似文献

针对Terra/MODIS数据提出改进的分裂窗地表温度反演算法。充分考虑了传感器观测角度(VZA)的影响,并对地表和有效大气辐射按照不同的亮度温度区间分别进行Planck函数简化。利用TIGR3大气廓线库中的875条晴空大气廓线,ASTER波谱库中的106条地物发射率波谱,结合MODTRAN4大气辐射传输模型模拟得到分裂窗算法系数。利用MODTRAN4模拟数据对算法精度进行验证,结果表明本文的改进算法和原算法的均方根误差RMSE分别为0.34K和0.65K。敏感性分析表明,在中等湿润的大气条件下,算法对大气水汽含量并不敏感。该算法降低了传感器观测角度带来的地表温度反演误差。利用2009年6月美国SURFRAD辐射观测网6个站点的实测数据对改进算法、原算法以及MOD11_L2地表温度产品进行了对比验证,RMSE分别是0.93K、1.49K和1.0K,表明本文算法可以提高反演精度。  相似文献

This paper describes a Geographical Information System (GIS)-based palaeogeographic reconstruction of the development of proglacial lakes formed during deglaciation in Estonia, and examines their common features and relations with the Baltic Ice Lake. Ice marginal positions, interpolated proglacial lake water levels and a digital terrain model were used to reconstruct the spatial distribution and bathymetry of the proglacial lakes. Our results suggest that the proglacial lakes formed a bay of the Baltic Ice Lake after the halt at the Pandivere-Neva ice margin about 13.3 cal. kyr BP. Shoreline reconstruction suggests that two major proglacial lake systems, one in eastern and the other in western Estonia, were connected via a strait and thus had identical water levels. The water budget calculations show that the strait was able to transfer a water volume several times greater than the melting glacier could produce. As this strait compensated for the water level difference between the two lake parts, the subsequent further merging in north Estonia did not result in catastrophic drainage, as has been proposed.  相似文献
