A set of digital maps including geology, Quaternary sediments, landscapes, engineering-geological, vegetation, geocryological and the series of regional sources have been selected to characterize the Russian Arctic coast. Based on this data, new maps of engineering geocryological zoning and zoning of the coast with respect to the intensity of exogenous geological processes and risk of technogenic impacts have been generated at the scales of 1:4,000,000–1:8,000,000. These maps are a tool to assess the impact of industry on the Arctic coast of the country. 相似文献

The orbital dynamics of the single known planet in the binary star system HD 196885 has been considered. The Lyapunov characteristic exponents and Lyapunov time of the planetary system have been calculated for possible values of the planetary orbit parameters. It has been shown that the dynamics of the planetary system HD 196885 is regular with the Lyapunov time of more than 5 × 104 years (the orbital period of the planet is approximately 3.7 years), if the motion occurs at a distance from the separatrix of the Lidov–Kozai resonance. The values of the planet’s orbital inclination to the plane of the sky and longitude of the ascending node lie either within ranges 30° < i p < 90° and 30° < Ωp < 90°, or 90° < i p < 180° and 180° < Ωp < 300°. 相似文献

Intensive development of near-earth space, often followed by breakups of spacecraft, has led to its significant and progressive contamination. Investigation of this problem seems to be of current importance. Collision of space objects (SO), whose relative velocities reaching up to 17.5 km/s, implies catastrophic consequences, especially for active SOs. Particular trouble is caused concerning piloted spacecraft, in particular for the International Space Station (ISS). Rb–Sr systematics has been studied in 13C-rich carbonate rocks of the Paleoproterozoic (2.09 ± 0.07 Ga) Tulomozero Formation in the northern Onega Lake area, the SE Fennoscandian Shield. The formation is divided into eight members (A–F) consisting of greenschist-facies-grade, variegated sandstones, siltstones, mudstones, stromatolitic dolostones and subordinate crystalline limestones. Samples of carbonate rocks were obtained from two overlapping drillholes intersecting the entire thickness of the Tulomozero Formation. Prior to isotope analysis, the rocks powders were treated with 1N ammonium acetate for partial removal of the late epigenetic carbonate phases. Major resetting of the Rb–Sr systems in the Tulomozero carbonate rocks appears to take place during the Svecofennian regional metamorphic event, and it was screened by using Mn/Sr, Fe/Sr, Mg/Ca, and 18O/16O ratios. High Sr content (up to 2080 μg/g in limestones, and 530 μg/g in dolostones) coupled with low Fe/Mn (<0.40) ratios in the Tulomozero carbonate rocks of Members A, B (the lower part), D, F, and E are consistent with accumulation of original carbonate sediments in evaporitic lacustrine, playa, and sabkha environments. A decrease in the Sr content with concurrent increase in the Fe/Mn ratio (>0.40) in dolostones of the upper part of Member B, and of Members G and H is indicative of seawater influxes (sea transgression) into the Tulomozero basin. The 87Sr/86Sr values in the least altered (Mn/Sr < 2.0) marine dolostones are 0.70418–0.70442 and 0.70343–0.70409 for the earlier and late phases of the marine transgression, respectively. The decrease in the 87Sr/86Sr ratio in ca. 2.1 Ga seawater is attributable to an increase in hydrothermal flux Sr into the Palaeoproterozoic ocean. 相似文献

It is known that the dependence of the emission-line luminosity of a typical cloud in the active galactic nuclei (AGN) broad-line regions (BLRs) upon the incident flux of ionizing continuum can be non-linear. We study how this non-linearity can be taken into account in estimating the size of the BLR by means of the 'reverberation' methods. We show that the BLR size estimates obtained by cross-correlation of emission-line and continuum light curves can be much (up to an order of magnitude) less than the values obtained by reverberation modelling. This is demonstrated by means of numerical cross-correlation and reverberation experiments with model continuum flares and emission-line transfer functions and by means of practical reverberation modelling of the observed optical spectral variability of NGC 4151. The time behaviour of NGC 4151 in the Hα and Hβ lines is modelled on the basis of the observational data by Kaspi et al. and the theoretical BLR model by Shevchenko. The values of the BLR parameters are estimated that allow to judge on the size and physical characteristics of the BLR. The small size of the BLR, as determined by the cross-correlation method from the data of Kaspi et al., is shown to be an artefact of this method. So, the hypothesis that the BLR size varies in time is not necessitated by the observational data. 相似文献
